The instructors are amazing. No matter your journey whether a beginner like me or an advanced exerciser they meet you where you are at. The trainers are very helpful.The gym is clean and spacious and I would definitely recommend this gym.

This is the best gym I’ve been to in a really long time. The coaches are super patient with everyone and their varying levels of comfort with working out. On top of it all, Verzanno CrossFit fosters a great community where we all have so much fun working out today! Highly recommend!

Verrazanno Fitness is more than a gym. It is a community of individuals from many professions who come together to achieve individualistic health goals by performing daily exercises that encompass cardio, strength training, weight lifting, yoga, explosive, and calisthenics workout. My experiences at Verrazanno have been transformative. Besides finding a family, I have learned many skills that have driven me to learn more about the human muscular system. Not only did I know so many things about my body, but I lost 13 pounds and became lean. Juan, Ti'quan, Alex, and Israel played a big role in my transformation. Juan assisted me with a wonderful six-week meal plan and is always so attentive. Ti'quan pushed me to do challenging exercises that I would have never thought or expected to do and spoke to me about injury prevention at all times. He never saw me as a weakness but as a person who can thrive higher and higher and I am so grateful to him for it. Alex's morning prewarm-up session was my favorite. Before the warm-up, he taught us how to perform flexible movements that would later transpire throughout the rest of the program. And Israel, as the expert that he is, always looked for ways to accommodate the assignments to meet my physical needs. He definitely has an eye for details. I would usually shy away from weights, barbells and workouts Iike these but i figured i have nothing to lose so i gave the gym a try. So glad i did! From the moment I came in, the coaches and fellow members have been patient, funny and supportive. The classes are a good size and the coaches take their time with you. I signed up for a package of 10 classes with my nephew(9yrs). I love that the classes are not packed. The instructors show you how to properly do the exercises.

I’m new to CrossFit and I’m already loving it. Every class is a new challenge but still kind of fun. I’m making a lot of progress thanks to the coach who’s always watching me.
Just started and already felt the burn...what a good burn...great and caring coaches, clean gym, friendly gym partners...very good community... Though this is a crossfit class, it actually feels like one on one personal training session with a cheerleading squad behind you encouraging you to do that one final rep. Greatly recommended.

Great workouts, great instructors, great people! I am getting stronger and feel the changes in my body. All my hard work is really working. They make the workouts fun yet challenging and it’s never the same boring class. The hour goes by so quick and I leave sweating! It’s awesome!

Honestly some of the most genuine people you could ever meet. The staff never makes you feel like someone else is better then you. Everyone is equal no matter the experience. Staff is knowledgeable. Juan shows alot of love to his clients and pushes you toward your goals. 5 out 5 stars

CrossFit here is amazing I have been there multiple times and I gotta say wow. From the environment being peaceful and non hostile to things being productive. Little did I know that this program, these coaches, and these teammate would literally become and mean so much more to me than just achieving a goal. About 5 weeks into the challenge and 18 pounds down, my beloved father fell deathly ill and I could no longer attend classes consistently. I reached out to Juan for options but what I received was an empathetic ear, a compassionate heart, soothing, and motivating words. We were able to create a plan that would not only allow me to care for my dad through his last days of life but also allowed me to meet and eventually exceed my original goal. I'm a true believer that people and things come into your life for a reason and joining Verrazano Crossfit is no exception. The support, motivation, and overall energy in classes are like no other program I have ever been a part of. Classes are small and you can always count on the coaches to be there to help and, motivate you. I've been attending for three months and can't say that I've ever done the same workout twice. I must say, the consensus within all classes is that WE ALL hate burpees and there's a special place in hell for the person who came up with the exercise :-) I'll be forever thankful and grateful for the amazing coaches that have contributed to my success and helping me become a healthier me. I never imagined being a CrossFit member especially because I didn’t know what it was and I figured it was mostly advanced weight lifters and strength trainers. However, I was completely wrong and I was happy to see that there are people who are at ALL levels. Everyone is supportive in the classes and they take the time to teach step by step on how to strength train as well as any other workouts which is great for people who have never touched a barbell or weights. 100 percent recommend this gym to people who have tried big scale gyms and don’t see results on their own. My new gym! Coaches are very welcoming and they look out for your well being and push you to be your best. There is not much more to say. This Gym has very friendly coaches and it is never a dull moment with each class. I enjoy coming to class because I know I will have a great time. I am being too repetitive at the moment. Not just my body but my face and neck are thinner too. The real asset, however, is the accountability with a mentor like mine, Aaron, who checks in with you diligently to keep you on the right track. The program also keeps me focused and helps me feel more mentally and emotionally positive. I am starting to see some abs. I think its because I have been using my body weight in a lot of the movements which are very intense. I also enjoy the free yoga and open gym on Sundays. Havent really tried it out due to them charging $250 for 3 weeks of training. Too rich for my blood. I will hit a regular gym That charges $300 for the YEAR.. just my experience.
Can’t say enough good things about this gym the trainers and customers both are extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ve seen incredible results in just a couple months and just wish I had started going there sooner!

Never having done cross fit before, I was a little intimidated to try Verrazano crossfit, that is, until I went inside. The staff was super friendly, with a really inviting environment. There is a real sense of community here. If you are just looking to try out something new, or some kind of a cross fit rockstar, this place is an easy fit. I will be coming back for sure.

Great CrossFit gym! Dropped in here for a few weeks while on Staten Island. Programming was challenging and the community the gym had was very supportive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fitness classes on the north shore.

Dropped in here and was very impressed by the staff, the culture and service. Sometimes you go to places and no one makes it their goal to introduce themselves that isn’t the case here. Very friendly and very challenging workout.

I just started after saying for some time that I didn’t think Cross Fit was for me. It’s actually the perfect combination of a class environment and going at your own, safe pace. I absolutely love challenging myself and can feel myself getting stronger with each class. Coaches are super supportive as are other members. I love this gym!

Great box, focused on good technique & movement. The WODs are varied, fun, and structured all throughout the week. Aaron and Laura are awesome people too. They connect well with everyone and are open to feedback. Classes start on time and for those with a car, parking is available.
Perhaps not the most state-of-the-art equipment, but a strong and close CrossFit community that more than makes up for that!
Everyone starts somewhere and I am very happy that I started here. Great vibe.
