We're so happy to have found Quinntastic! After we got our corgi puppy and realized that she was pretty nervous around other dogs, I was really hesitant to take her to a large doggie-day-care facility when we needed her supervised while we had some construction work done on our house. We looked into a couple of options, but it was clear to me immediately that Quinntastic was going to be the right choice. I loved that it was a smaller business and our puppy got so much one-on-one attention, and socialization with the other dogs is supervised and structured as part of the training. She loves playing with other dogs now and is really solid on the commands that she learned in training! We also loved the daily photos and videos of her progress so that we could see how she was doing and could better implement the same style of training at home. Even though she's graduated the puppy program and is so much better around other dogs, we continue to board her with Quinntastic when we travel because we know she's so well taken care of and she gets refresher training when she goes. Quinntastic Did an amazing job with Sam! The day before I took her she was running, now she's minding. All the trainers worked with her and shared their videos which I sincerely appreciated because I missed her while she was being boarded and it keptnme up to speed on her progress. Also they had no issue with me comming up a few times a week just to visit Sam. I was able to learn alot from them which is perfect since I needed more training then she did. I won't go into detail but when Sam had a small medical issue while I was out of town, I called my vet and Quinn Ran up to My vet and picked up the meds rather then waiting until the next day when i could bring them up myself. I mention this because their level of commitment to the dogs thay have in their care is of the highest of quality. I would highly recommend them for your training and boarding needs as your pet is in good hands with Qinntastic! I have to amend this review as I don't think it did enough justice for Qunntasic. Today I took Sam in the front yard as I dismantle my Christmas decorations off the yard and house and I had a lot. Sam never once went outer then 20 feet from me in a 4 hour time frame we were out side. Further more I had her E coller on but never once had to use it because she never gave me that chance. I credit this behavior to Quinn and his team for making her training successfull. What they did in 3 weeks is so essentially important for her to do when we start hitting the field for bird and shot guns are going off. They have started her on her way to be a great field dog. We enrolled Sasha in Quinn’s day training program a month after she was adopted. This was the perfect fit for her (and us) as she adjusted to her new home. Quinn did such an amazing job training my dog Charlie. Charlie did several weeks of training with Quinn and is now the best, most calm dog who knows how to obey commands. I never would have thought Charlie was capable of being such an obedient dog since he started out as a rowdy puppy who jumped on everyone, pulled on the leash, and never listened. During the pandemic I got Great Pyrenees 8 wk old puppy. So adorable. I realized in order to have happy lives for myself and my puppy, dog training was in order. My Zeus was an anxious puppy afraid of everything due to being sick when I first brought him home. The vet told me he needed some manners and to learn to calm down. We found Quinntastic Dog Training and Quinn turned my Zeus into a total gentleman. I have small grandkids and it was important that Zeus knew to be careful not to knock them over. Having had many pets throughout my life I understand first hand the importance of animal training, in this case dogs specifically. Training them with just anyone was not an option for me and my boy Ozzy Pawsbourne Pup of Darkness. When I got Ozzy at 4 months old he had extreme anxiety for such a little guy. He was reactive to men, they scared him. He was reactive to other dogs that showed aggression first. I knew I needed a trainer that would go beyond basic household commands. My experience with Quinn and his team has been amazing. I took my dogs there for training while I was on a long trip and now I continue to bring my dogs there for board and train (refresher training) when I’m on other little trips. If you need a trainer, this is THE best in DFW! Met with Quinn and my 5 m/o Dalmatian who had terrible separation anxiety. I told him I was looking for a “bullet proof” dog who would be accepting to new people, places, and dogs. I was going out of town so did the 2 week board and train then did two more weeks of day training when I returned. Islay is turning into the dog I wanted! She’s still less than a year but I know Quinntastic will be her trainers for life and I can always take her there if she needs a bit of fine tuning. Quinn and his team are the absolute best. I have previously sent my daughters' dogs for training and have been beyond thrilled with how well behaved Lubbock (Blue Heeler) and Arya (German Shepard) are. Then we adopted our Lola from a shelter a 3 yrs? of age pitbull mix. She had been in the shelter for 3 months and had been found as a stray so no clue what her previous life was like. She wasn't great with walking on leash, would become hyper fixated on our cat and just seemed always on edge. First she went for 1 week of board and train. When we got her back at the end of the week the difference was already night and day. Taking her on walks was easy and enjoyable. Later we sent her for a 3 week board and train. I found Quinn and his crew 2 1/2 years ago when my velociraptor Skye (aka - German Shepherd) was 3 months old. My only regret is that I didn’t call Quinn sooner. We love our pup but have been struggling with some behaviors (pulling on the leash, peeing when seeing new people, playing keep-away with toys) that make time with her stressful. I met the owners of another standard poodle at Dog Days of Denton. Their dog was well behaved and did well socially. They gave me Quinn’s name and although I waited a couple of weeks, it took me finally reaching my breaking point when I called him. He came to the house to evaluate Kinnick and observe her behaviors. He was able to finally calm her after an hour. Like most owners, we give our dogs too much power. We unknowingly tend to reward bad behavior because we don’t know any better. It was at that time I decided to take Kinnick to Quinn’s 3 week Board & Train. As hard as it was to give her up for those three weeks, it was the best decision we ever made. I knew I couldn’t dedicate the proper time to train her myself nor did I have the knowledge. Kinnick was a different dog when she came home. I could walk her without her pulling on her leash, she was calm, and her other bad behaviors had been greatly reduced or eliminated. We continue to work Kinnick ourselves and make sure she is socialized. I am very proud of her when we go out in crowds or social events. She is well behaved and listens to my commands. One of the other benefits of Quinn’s training was making sure Kinnick went to “place” especially when we are eating. Every time we sit down to eat she automatically goes to her “place” and waits for our command when she can leave. No more running around or begging at the table. We continue to take Kinnick to Quinn’s daycare twice a week. She continues her training and she gets to socialize with other dogs Quinn has trained. His Board & Train was the best investment we ever made. We can’t thank Quinn or recommend him enough. It is well worth the money especially when people tell us that Kinnick is one of the most well behaved dogs they have ever seen. We could never have done it without Quinn’s help. We first met Quinn at socialization classes in Denton, where we were working on getting our rescue pit bull Dino properly socialized. We immediately noticed Quinn's different approach to training in those classes, where he was more focused on keeping Dino's excitement levels down...as opposed to trying to diagnose whether he was being 'aggressive', 'reactive' or just showing 'rude behavior' towards other dogs. After a few months of socialization classes, we decided to do a 3 week board and train with Quinn. The classes were just too overwhelming for Dino and it was clear that he needed a more customized training. It's been a little over 2 months since Dino finished and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Quinn did a fantastic job setting up realistic goals with us, patiently answering tons of questions and explaining his training methods in a consultation at our house before the training. Within 30 minutes of us dropping him off at Quinn's, he had Dino not only on a treadmill...but right next to another dog. Two accomplishments we would've been very happy with at the end of his training with Quinn. Quinn was also great about sending us pictures, videos and texts with updates of his progress throughout his time there. Answering a number of questions along the way and never made us feel like a nuisance. Despite our 3 week board and train being over with, Quinn continues to check in on Dino's progress and always offers to help in any way possible. While we're still working on getting Dino 100% comfortable with other dogs, the overall results are night and day from before Quinn. Results that every person who knows Dino has recognized, from friends/family to other well respected trainers in the area.
