I joined Katie's 1-on-1 coaching program with specific goal in mind to improve my eating habits and movement. I was busy with a sedentary lifestyle and no control on food choices. This lead to elevated cholesterol levels which is scary for me and my family. During and after the coaching program, I am satisfied with the improvement I've made. I am more aware and conscious of what I eat, how much I drink water, how much I move and how much I sleep. I diligently complete my 3x a week 1-hour workout. I start the day with salad and oats or sandwich with veggies and protein in it. If not fruits and veggies, I started including Korean fermented vegetable side dishes in my meals. I lessen consuming saturated and trans fats; and focus on eating food that is good for my gut and body. Lastly, I enjoyed the breathing exercise at start and end of my sessions with Katie. It was a fruitful month with Katie. I will continue this wellness journey not just for me but together with my family. Less

Initially, I thought of her as a typical excelling career woman breaking stereotypes in a male-dominated IT space. While that is definitely true, I was more impressed when I got to know her even better. I realize that her achievements are rooted from the self-discipline that is innate to her, maybe as an athlete, but more so as an individual. At one point, I wanted to adapt how she does her things because I can see how she manages to excel in most aspects of her life. She is well-organized, resourceful and responsible at work but also jolly social butterfly. I am so inspired with her way of living. She is definitely one of those people I look up to. Less
I've known Ms. Katie for a short period of time, mostly during our dragon boat team sessions in the Philippines. I like simple things and so I liked how the book simplifies everything I needed to know to improve my lifestyle habits. As someone who works in a shifting schedule, I feel seen and heard.
