I was not home the day they came back, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only did they remove the dirt/tracks that were left behind, but they had pressure-washed my entire, large driveway....it looks great!If I ever need them to take down or remove any trees from my yard in the future, I'll definitely give them a call. The next day I scheduled our landscape company to clean up because I expected some damage to the landscaping. There was nothing for the landscapers to do. To remove trees in our area it is necessary to have a permit, which is not easily nor quickly obtainable. Lindsey called within three days to say she had the required permit! Two crews were onsite within two more days. In one day (!) they removed three enormous trees in the backyard (considered “specimen” trees) in fairly tricky surroundings. All trunks, branches and debris were adequately removed - plywood was placed on all grassy areas to prevent damage by the bobcat. Unfortunately, our beautiful ocean of ivy was, unavoidably, almost entirely destroyed, but we trust it will recover in time. At the end of the day, the yard was cleared and blown and tidy. A few large logs remained on the curb because Rick, who loaded the enormous trunk pieces onto a truck bed, had to dump them at the designated site by closing time. A man of integrity, he returned on his own time, in a couple of hours, to load the rest, before leaving the area clean. Lastly, I cannot say enough about the foreman, Billy. He is open, caring, careful, understanding of just about anything that was mentioned. When a neighbor changed her mind about something to which she had given permission (she has some dementia), he was gentle and found another solution. His kindness is palpable and, on a stressful day that any massive tree removal presents, he is the person one wants alongside. It was obvious that the dozen men in the two crews enjoy his manner as well. Less

At first, they said everything would be put back to normal and make it look like nothing ever happened. They assured us that they would use plywood to minimize the damage to the yard due to the loader, promised to clean up everything, including all the small branches, but these obligations were broken. After the tree removal, I was very disappointed. The yard was ruined due to using loader without plywood, fallen branches left everywhere, and big holes in the ground. They also had to remove the fence to have easier access to the tree, which was fine; however, while they were putting it back, they did not install it back properly and lost a lot of dirt around the fence. I tried reaching out to the owner, Colin, but after couple of texts and a visit, he never responded. With the visit, Colin suggested getting some lawn seeds for the yard, which I agreed to, but never happened. He also promised to fix a light that was damaged during the tree removal, yet he took the broken bulb and never came back. Overall, I would give 0 stars if I could and would recommend looking for different companies. Less

I hired Colin, and his team, because I thought I was receiving a fair price, and he appeared to be very professional. Turns out it was a mistake. I paid him $1,700 in full before I saw the work (admittedly this was my mistake). They left huge craters in my lawn (over 7 feet in length) from dropping sections of tree. My lawn was completely destroyed, even though he told me they would put down boards to protect the grass. I also now have a stump with green spray paint on top of it because his stump grinder never removed a stump that I paid him to remove. After I sent Colin the pictures of my lawn he told me that it was unacceptable and he would do everything he could to make sure it was repaired properly. For over a month he was responsive to calls, but came up with one excuse after another on why it was not repaired yet. Finally after two months, he does not respond at all. When I call the office, the receptionist tells me “the owner is looking into it”. Please do yourself a favor and hire a different company. Less

My lawn was completely destroyed, even though he told me they would put down boards to protect the grass. I also now have a stump with green spray paint on top of it because his stump grinder never removed a stump that I paid him to remove.After I sent Colin the pictures of my lawn he told me that it was unacceptable and he would do everything he could to make sure it was repaired properly. For over a month he was responsive to calls, but came up with one excuse after another on why it was not repaired yet. Finally after two months, he does not respond at all. When I call the office, the receptionist tells me “the owner is looking into it”.Please do yourself a favor and hire a different company. Less

I would not recommend this company at all. Why not? They did a lot of work quickly and efficiently, with minimal damage to surrounding shrubs. They asked for me to check the work as they were doing it. The large logs that couldn't go through the chipper were promptly removed from the curb (other companies have left them for 24 hours). The stumps were ground on the same day.... More

Fair price. Showed up when expected and overall good communication. Trucks in yard left tire ruts and left yard needing fair amount of work. Setting out a little plywood to run truck tires over would have left yard in good shape but instead we were left with good amount of yard repair to do. :(... More

This is the best tree company out there!!! Form the free estimate, I knew they were a cut above the rest. The guys that came out were very knowledgeable, and had customer service at the forefront of everything. On the day of the job I was told that it would start at 8 (They were there setting up by 7:45am) that alone gives them a A+, but the professionalism didn't stop there. The owner was on site along with 6 to 8 men. All were extremely nice and very experienced. They stuck to the timeline that was provided (1.5 days). They removed 15 large trees in total and left my yard in excellent condition. They protected the grass, put the fence back up, and raked up and debris that was down. I have a police report against them and contacting the BBC. As well I have to go and disrupt my life to hire a lawyer and take them to court. Don't bother with more stress. Pick a different company.... More
