The whole team at Atlas Brain and Body are wonderful. After only a couple months 80% of the tension I carried in my body is gone. I tried a mainstream chiropractor years ago with minimal results. This, however, works. For me I even had results immediately after my 1st adjustment. I've tried a lot of bodywork over the years and this by far has helped me the most.

Didn’t feel any different after any of the treatments. I was asked to come in 3 times a week (could only do 2) but after the initial treatment he only used a massage gun on my neck that I could have done at home. I paid my copay after every visit and was still sent a $10 bill which I refuse to pay. I think they sent the bill so I would call and they could try to get me to come back.

Dr. Nygaard is an exceptional Chiropractor / Atlas Orthogonist. I was not even aware of what an Atlas Orthogonist was until I first went to Dr. Nygaard. I have had chiropractic over the years (I'm just turned 70), and he has helped me like no other practitioner. I appreciate the fact that he does not do the "neck crack" adjustment. The previous chiropractor I had did this to me, assuring me it would be fine, (after having a cervical fusion at C6 a year before) and I ended up with tingling in my left arm for several months starting the day after the neck adjustment. On my first appointment with Dr. Nygaard, I was having some serious discomfort with my back / neck. He started me on a care plan for six weeks. After the six weeks (which was covered by Medicare), I was feeling back to normal. But there was also something else that happened as a bonus. I had been having terrible foot pain in my right foot due to a diagnosis of Morton's Neuroma. I couldn't even walk a mile without burning pain in my foot. (I had not told Dr. Nygaard about this because I thought it was a foot problem. I had also seen two podiatrists that could do nothing to relieve my pain). It turns out that the next time I went for a walk, I realized I was walking farther without any foot pain. I was now walking up to five miles a day. On a follow up visit to Dr. Nygaard, I told him about the Morton's Neuroma break through. I am thrilled beyond words that this problem no longer exists. Apparently, Morton's Neuroma is caused by an impingement of a nerve or nerves in your spine, but the pain manifests itself in your feet. I've gone to a number of chiropractors who use different techniques, I'm not a fan of fierce manual manipulations to my cervical spine. I started going to Atlas Chiropractic about one year ago. I suffer from debilitating migraines. dr. Nygaard and his staff are very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Nygaard is always attentive and thoughtful about what is going on with my body and works to keep me out of pain. The options, in addition to adjustments, in his office include decompression and cold laser and the combination is really helpful.

I highly recommend Dr. Nygaard, he is very knowledgeable and helped me when I couldn't find any relief from other doctors or chiropractors. I am writing this review in response to M McKee's review. I am shocked and astounded at what was written. I have worked with Dr. Nygaard since 2013. He has had the same front desk staff since February of 2014. I have done his insurance billing and can assure you that nothing was billed for that wasn't a provided service to the patient. As far as ordering exams is concerned, that is standard practice, especially for those patient's who have insurance. The exam documents the need for the services rendered. Dr. Nygaard has also been incredibly understanding that circumstances come up and that I needed to be off. While working with Dr. Nygaard, I was pregnant with my daughter, a very high-risk pregnancy that landed me in the hospital more than once, unexpectedly. Never once did he complain about my absence. As a matter of fact, the only time he contacted me was to check on me and ensure that all was well with me and my baby. As a former employee of Dr. Nygaard, I would urge people to take M McKee's review with a grain of salt. Dr. Nygaard has always been kind and compassionate towards me.
