My wife and I hired Insulation Pros to improve the insulation in our finished attic. When I returned home from their "completed" job, there was a random two-foot cut in our bathroom wall that had not been repaired, in the areas of the drywall that had been "repaired" the work was sloppy and would have taken forever to sand down from the cake frosting-looking mess, and in the unfinished attic area there were broken pieces of drywall and staples covering the floor. All of this was after the job was supposedly finished and complete. This led to the inconvenience of calling back (in which my wife and I were always polite and more understanding than we should have been) to get these issues taken care of. The owner came out and had to completely redo most of the dry wall patches himself, which we appreciated. I still had to call and schedule a date for them to return AGAIN to clean up the broken dry wall pieces and staples in the unfinished attic. We had to schedule two weeks out because there was nobody apparently available to clean their mess. When the day that was scheduled came and went, nobody arrived to clean up the mess. Now, it is still a month after the job was "completed," and the broken dry wall pieces and staples (which my young daughters or pregnant wife could step on) have STILL not been cleaned. No compensation has been offered for the inconvenience and there have been no returned calls. I would caution anybody from hiring these guys unless they want the job to take over a month to complete and have to call multiple times to resolve any issues which may or may not be resolved. Less

Worked with Insulation Pros in July 2017 to remove old/reinstall new insulation in a 1950's style ranch home. Everyone was great to work with from start to finish. During extreme hot or cold weather the HVAC struggled to keep the home at a comfortable temp. Insulation Pros completed their work, and it changed things for the better immediately. This review comes 1.5 years later. The HVAC has not struggled since, and it has no trouble keeping the house at the desired temp during extreme outdoor temperatures. Two additional benefits: 1. Heating/cooling bills also decreased a little during the extreme months 2. During a recent storm, a fallen tree branch caused exterior power lines to fall and get crossed. The end result was power back-feeding into our home and a couple circuits in the attic were smoldering. The flame-retardant insulation suppressed the fire, and provided the time to keep everyone safe. Fire crews said the insulation kept the fire from really taking off, which could easily have been a total loss. There is no question we'll be working with Insulation Pros again to re-insulate as part of the repairs. Less

We made the mistake of hiring a different company for our attic insulation a couple weeks before. Larry called me personally to give phone numbers and advice for what to do— the other company I hired (A+ Insulation) was unqualified to do my attic work, but they did it anyway. The entire job was a nightmare. Larry explained (kindly) that some companies have integrity and compassion, and some don’t. We just had to find out the hard way, unfortunately. Insulation Pros did an amazing job for me insulating a crawl space under a 400 sq ft edition on my house. This addition was added years ago by the previous owners. They added it right over the dirt but didn’t bother to put in any insulation or a vapor barrier. I’m still befuddled why anyone would do that. It’s not good for your home and only leads to high utility bills and the smell of dirt wafting up thru the vents during the humid months. The space that Insulation Pros had to maneuver in is not really even a crawl space as a lot of that space requires lying flat on your back. I was hesitant to even start getting quotes as looking around online, it appeared that the cost was going to be prohibitive at this time due to the size of the room and the type of work needed. I decided to get quotes just so I would know how to start budgeting for the project. Larry Langley - owner of Insulation Pros came out and did the inspection himself, crawling in that space and taking his measurements. He said he had a couple of options for me but wanted to put the numbers together first and then send them to me. It was Friday, right before Veteran’s Day. I figured I’d get the estimates on the following Tuesday. Nope. Larry emailed me on Monday even though their office was closed (Larry is a Veteran as are many of his employees) which I thought was outstanding. He provided 2 options, both with amazing quotes. I could not believe the prices he provided. I asked him, if this was his house, which option he would choose. He told me Option 1 which was the cheaper of the 2. I had originally planned on getting this quote to help me budget for the project, but it was so amazing, I told him to get me on the books as soon as possible. Two weeks later, his team was at my door. Rudolph was the guy that got to crawl around in that space – poor guy – while his team mates did all outside leg work. Within a few hours, they had the crawl space fully insulated and a vapor barrier applied. Rudolph took pictures of his work for me, so I could have them for my home records. I can and have accessed that crawl space myself and it’s not my favorite thing. You must crawl under the deck which is cold and muddy to get to the crawl space under the addition. I had to make a “door” for the opening to the crawl space as the previous owners had a piece of wood that was smaller than the opening, propped up over the opening with a stick. Not exactly ideal. Just asking for critters to make themselves a home. I fixed that and the opening they left at the end of the deck by creating actual doors that allow access under that space. No unwanted critters in my house! Doing that alone was enough to make me never want to get under there again so I am very grateful to Insulation Pros who not only got under there and completed the work quickly, using top tier materials, but also fully cleaned up after the work was completed, provided pictures of their work and did it at a price that is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Insulation Pros for all insulation needs. I will definitely be calling them in the spring to come out and check out the attics as I’m sure they need some refreshing. Less
