I was basically interested in a Schroth trained therapist for my scoliosis however there were none within a 60 mile radius. Dr. Beth at Strength and Spine explained her programs and I signed up for a one on one; she sent various exercises (all tailored to my type of curves) each week and explained which muscles the exercises would be targeting. She was always willing to have a zoom meeting with me and answered many questions that I asked through the app.The program is definitely worth the cost, as well as the peace of mind that i can possible slow down the effects of gravity on my scoliosis. Many thanks Dr. Beth. Less

Before I joined Strength and Spine’s 1:1 program, I was caught in a loop of trying to strengthen my weak lower back on my left side. Prior to working with them, most of the normal exercises recommended to strengthen my back would either re-injure it, or would trigger pain to where I was afraid to do them. But I knew I had to do something, and I was tired of trying on my own.I decided on the 1:1 program instead of the group program, because I felt like I needed a custom-fit program. I have been very happy with this choice. The workout videos are easy to follow, and have been customized for my curve. I can reach out and ask questions at any time, and get prompt responses. I never feel judged or rushed in my progression.Dr. Beth and her team have been so patient and supportive in my journey. They cheer me on, and keep me from being discouraged if I have a tough day. I can see and feel the difference in my body and in my confidence. It has been the best investment of my time and money. My back no longer hurts when I hike in elevation, which is a treasured pastime. I carry myself differently since I have learned postural correction for both sitting and standing. And some of the biggest wins are outside of the gym – just doing chores and lifting heavier things and not hurting afterwards, something I haven’t been able to do in a long time. Beth’s team is knowledgeable, caring and inspiring. They have shared their stories of their own journeys with scoliosis, so they know what their clients are dealing with every day.I encourage anyone who is trying to make a decision on this program to know that it is absolutely worth it. I trained with Beth and Tiffani for a year. Prior to starting with them, I did not know the first thing about my scoliosis and certainly did not know anything about training having never used a dumbbell in my life or used a structured exercise regimen. The knowledge I gained from them was invaluable, and the exercises have been both challenging and transformative, not only in regards to my scoliosis, but also in helping me navigate and treat my injuries when I decided to take up running halfway through my program.Their feedback is prompt and they are always available for questions/concerns. They are responsive with changes as needed and are encouraging and empathetic. Highly recommend! Less

I consider myself very fortunate to have discovered Strength and Spine, LLC, while searching the web for just the type of service Beth Terranova and her team offer. I'm in my late 60s and wore a Milwaukee brace back in the day for a thoracic curvature. In my late 20s, I took a weight training course at a local YMCA, thinking that it might be beneficial for my scoliosis. Nearly 40 years later (including a few years as an amateur competitive bodybuilder and instructor), I'm still lifting. I've had many physical therapists over the years, but no one could give me solid advice regarding weight training and scoliosis other than it was likely very good for me to continue lifting. So I decided to do a web search this summer for a remote scoliosis exercise option -- and found Beth. She and my additional coach, Dawn, guided me through strength training exercises specific for the type of curve I have. At the conclusion of my 1:1 program, I can confidently continue doing many of the traditional exercises I have been doing supplemented by a toolbox of new scoliosis-specific exercises. I also purchased props and bands that Beth recommended. I can say that I now stand more erect and am free of some nagging scoliosis-related aches since I've been incorporating scoliosis-specific warmup moves, and core, anti-flexion, and anti-rotation exercises to my exercise regimen. The experience was made more significant because Beth herself has scoliosis, so she can relate personally and professionally. I give Beth and her team five GOLD stars for the help and direction they've given me! Less

I highly recommend working with Strength and Spine. As soon as I found out that Beth and her team have scoliosis I knew I wanted to work with them. After I completed the first month of the 1:1 program I cried tears of joy that my pain was gone! With Schroth exercises and safe weight training workouts, I finally have hope after being told all of my life that surgery was the only treatment. Beth is very passionate and knowledgeable about scoliosis and I can't thank her enough for everything she does for the scoliosis community! Less

I am 59, and I have learned so much about my own scoliosis. I got so much out of the 1:1 coaching program, I simply wish I met Strength & Spine when I was younger! Their approach to a life long maintenance plan and dealing with curve progression and pain management (mild through to severe) is so helpful, useful, effective and worth every minute and investment. Highly recommend trying their program out. Less
