Our experience with LaFollette was exceptional! We built our home on a property in the country while living in a city a few hours away, so we had a fair amount of anxiety about how the process would go. The team was able to alleviate our initial concerns by meeting frequently at the property and via videoconference through the design phase. When the building process began, we had easy access to updates and had no problems communicating with the team.We were really impressed by the degree to which LaFollette made the process predictable and clear. Everyone was very interested in making sure we were getting the home we wanted at the quality we expected within the budget we had laid out. Daniel, Sydney and Caleb were great and we really appreciate their professionalism. It was a really positive experience!

We are loving our home from LaFollette Custom Homes.The process turned out to be an overall good experience and more importantly we are very happy with the end product. We spent probably over a year designing our home on our own before choosing a builder. The LaFollette team including Architecture input and a 3D tour through the home before finalizing the design let us see what we did and did not like about the design and also helped us to prioritize our budget.Sydney, the LaFollette interior designer, also really helped us make the house cohesive and we are really happy how everything turned out. Sydney also helped us to understand what our options were and manage the daunting task of making all of our selections while keeping the overall budget in mind.What we were the most pleased about in our experience is how well they addressed any issues that came up during the construction process. If there was anything we weren’t pleased with or deviated from what was discussed, they made sure to address our concerns so that we ended up with what was planned.Another great factor is how they give you a fixed priced on the home, so you know what the final cost will be with allowances for the selections that you make. We ended up staying under our allowances and actually received money back at the completion of construction.We were first time custom home buyers and had heard how difficult it could be. While there were certainly some hiccups along the way, we could not be happier with the process and most importantly, the end result.

We knew the first time we met Jason that we wanted him to build our forever home. He is up to date with all the latest home trends, he has a huge team to take care of every aspect of home design and building, and he is an overall great guy!They offer a VR experience to "walk through" your home before it's built which let's you see your dream home before it's built. They also provide AI photos of your home.AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING, I cried tears of joy.They seem just as excited as we are to build our dream home.We can't wait to see the end result!!

I started our home-building journey back in early 2022 (about a year before we would even break ground) and reached out to LaFollette as I began researching custom home builders. From the moment I connected with Tim way back then to today with our beautiful home about halfway complete - I truly believe that I am working with the very best custom home builder! Jason and his team are amazing - and have created a positive and collaborative experience providing the information and guidance needed for me to feel comfortable and confident in this home-building process. After working with Tim for a number of months refining and modifying my original idea, the plan design team then made all my house dreams come true. I appreciate all of the insights and suggestions as we worked to include all of my ideas and requirements (especially the all-important dog bath in the laundry room!). The next step involved a fantastic virtual reality walk-though where we were able to see the house (with replicas of our own furniture) to make sure that the plan met all of our wants and needs. During our VR tour, thank goodness I was able to see that the kitchen bar chairs and the dining room chairs would be way too close together - and thanks to Tim for noting that the fireplace, dining room lighting, and oven hood were NOT all centered in the same way! The VR experience truly made a huge difference and allowed for the plans to be changed before construction began, saving us a lot of money. I have enjoyed working with the LaFollette team - the collaboration, technology, and most importantly, the entire team's expertise have made my custom home building experience stress-free, positive, and enjoyable. I highly recommend working with LaFollette Custom Homes - and can't wait to move into our beautiful new home once completed.

We purposely waited for almost a year after our move-in date (July 1, 2022). To provide an end-to-end review of the start to finish to 1 year past. I can honestly say I believe LaFollette built the very best quality home I could have contracted. We decided to splurge on all the amenities (Dog Stations, Grand Kitchen, hidden rooms, etc...). 1 Year out and the home has strong integrity and jaw dropping curb appeal. I was concerned about hiring for a custom home, but Jason put those fears to rest, addressed all concerns (even 1 year past) and truly delivered on the highest quality and most beautiful home we have ever lived. Thanks Jason, we love our forever home!

We can’t recommend a company anymore than LaFollette custom homes! My wife and I worked with Jason and his team for several months designing our Barndo and held our hand every step of the way to make our home exactly how we imagined, being able to review the plans and walk thru the home virtually was an added bonus in helping us with the layout and design we wanted. Highly recommend family to work with!
