The coaches at the gym are very enthusiastic and caring. When I had a very bad asthma attack after doing the Murph everyone was concerned and wanted to take care of me. No one made me feel like less of an athlete for it. I was very fortunate to have such supportive and caring people around me.

The real kicker was, it was all for free…well sorta. It required you to commit your time, energy, and sweat into achieving your goals all while putting aside any feelings of past failures. I struggled to find my way back into a solid workout routine and healthy eating habit and dreaded the idea of going to the gym, but desperately wanted to break that cycle. I used this challenge along with the awesome coaches, fellow members, and the occasional random compliments I would receive along the way to help push me to achieve my goals! During the past six weeks I became a totally different person… I found my passion for working out again along with eating the right way for my body, all while setting myself up for continued success. You come as you are, at whatever level, and you work at your pace in an amazingly supportive environment. I've been looking for a Crossfit spot that truly seemed like it desires to bring in everyone and take them from where they are to where they want to be. Definitely feels like these folks are cheering me on, not just because they want my money, but because they want to see me successful.

The coaches are VERY patient and treat everyone with respect and provide encouragement no matter if you lift hundreds of pounds or just a few pounds like me. I'm a rookie to the Crossfit world and they have gone above and beyond to make the workout environment comfortable and challenging.

CrossFit East Orange is a fantastic gym! Their coaches are attentive, their gym is always clean, and everyone is very friendly!
