The garage floor came out great, we are very happy with the finished product. Matt explained the process well and all was completed as he stated. Our garage floor was 50+ years old and brittle, would constantly dust up when swept. They grind it down completely smooth and refinished it with a nice thick layer of product, it now looks amazing. Called up and spoke to Matthew to get a quote for epoxy and cabinets for my garage and was told someone would call me back. No one ever called back so I then decided to try again to see if they would just install the cabinets for me since I had already found a company to do epoxy. I just called Prestige Garage after reviewing their website. I was hoping to find a company to help with storage solutions, floor epoxy, painting the garage, etc. The young lady on the phone informed me that they only do garage floors! I find it annoying for a company to have a website that advertises a range of services only to call and find out they really only do floors.

I approved it because it was very important to me that the floor looks as if it were always there. After completion, I was not happy with the finished product. It was VERY obvious where the new floor and old floor met up. I contacted Mathew once…twice, three times via email. Then a voicemail. FINALLY, I got an email about 3 weeks later. He claims that it is MY FAULT. The floors were dirty, not prepped properly and now he cannot warranty the work either. So lets be clear…I contact them to do the work. They come look at the garage before starting. They come complete the work(never mentioning that it is prepped wrong). Ignore me when I express my unhappiness. Then BLAME me for their subpar work? When we informed him of our decision, his e-mail reply was "Wow, after all the work I put in for your benefit, I'm shocked! No words can express my dissatisfaction with you and your wife!" I don't expect this type of response from any business, even after not being awarded a contract. Then I received another grenade lobbed in through my e-mail. In its entirety, it reads as follows: "I get very annoyed when people ave UNREALISTIC expectations of cost and ultimately WASTE my time! I was completely transparent from the beginning and explained the many challenges in your garage. Also, worked hard to give you exactly what you said you wanted... You just don't want to make the investment. The truth is you have never made any investment in the garage. So why now change..." And another: "A second trip to your home, a second redesign of garage was unnecessary if you intended to CHEAP out! Your last email is complete BS. You simply don't respect me, my company or my time. I'm NOT retired looking for ways to FILL IN my day!!!!" And, as you can see from his reply, he doesn't learn. He keeps taking cheap shots when things don't go his way. He talks about the "many challenges" in my garage. It's a simple two-car garage. It's really a challenge for him to design an appropriate treatment for this? I didn't misrepresent my position. I had the garage project done by someone who would do it the way I wanted it done, not the way Prestige wanted to do it, and for half the price. He wanted to put slatwall on every wall in the garage, even where it wasn't appropriate. And the misrepresentation he should be referring to is his own, by lowballing the initial estimate and then coming in with a price substantially higher. If you think about using this company to re-do your garage, just don't piss him off. He's all smooth and agreeable at first, but he's like a grenade with the pin pulled. Less
