I’m also having help with my food which has taught me so much already about simple dieting, fruit, veg & protein!, even hubby is following the diet plan with me! Fast forward a few years I lost my love for training and all of my confidence, I wouldn't step foot any where near a gym let alone train in one alone. Almost a year ago I started training with James and then more recently came apart of his semi private sessions, where I have met some amazing people and made some great friends. I also train alone in the gym with guidance from James. I wouldn't have ever been confident enough to train alone if it wasn't for James' great support and education. Training with James has been amazing! James is such a caring person. James is focused and has aims to have happy clients. James helps understand everything and any concerns I have he's happy to help with. He's empathetic and has great communication skills. He is a fantastic listener and has great patience. James is always motivational and determined to assist you in achieving the results you desire. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for James. He has helped grow my confidence in and out of the gym. I am now comfortable wearing clothes I would never have worn before. Attending his fitness classes and some additional personal training sessions, I began to enjoy working out and my confidence really did blossom. My love and knowledge for fitness and general habit change is all thanks to James. He really does push you to be the best version of yourself. Even when I would get upset and frustrated in my first sessions with him, he was very patient and understanding and modified a few exercises to suit my need (injured ankle). His knowledge really is above and beyond, and his passion really does shine through. We had a few sessions in the gym and then had to transition to zoom. I was sceptical at first but James assured me we could have a great work out and a plan just using a resistance band. James has been conscious about limitations from surgery and adapted where needed. He’s helped motivate me and realise the importance of daily activity rather than just a work out session. I’ve learned you can still loose weight and enjoy your wine or takeaway. James regularly keeps in touch and I always have a weekly check form with video feedback and the option to call to discuss any issues. I’ve lost almost a stone with James’ support, am much fitter and stronger all whilst still enjoying my treats every week. And added bonus, I’m in smaller work uniform! Thank you James! Less

Through James’ support and advice my calories and protein intake were tailored for weight lost. Whilst I’ve only lost 5 pound my shape has changed as my dress sizes have changed from 20/22 to a 16/18. There have been bumps along the way but James is always there with a video call, text or voice messages. It’s been important to follow James mantra of not waiting to restart. I’ve always started a diet on Monday now if I have a blip in the week I don’t I start again the following day. I highly recommend James as a PT both my husband and I train with James weekly, we have both had very positive results and are looking forward to achieving our fitness goals this year. Less

I’ve tried a few personal trainers in the past but never stuck it out for longer than a few months because of strict diets, plans and unrealistic expectations. James is completely different and knows people want to live a normal life whilst still getting results and that everyone is at different levels. I’ve managed to combine a hectic lifestyle with weekly training sessions and still managed to lose weight, get stronger and fitter without radical diets or extreme gym sessions. I can now do exercises I struggled with in the past with relative ease. His dedication is amazing too. Through lockdown we moved to online sessions over zoom that work really well, so much so, that we are still meeting weekly despite me emigrating to Australia six months ago. We keep in touch outside of sessions and James is always on hand with help and advice when needed plus helpful plans or exercises to do on my own when time allows. Not only have I lost 2stone, but I’ve also gained a lot of confidence and knowledge when it comes to working out and at at the gym. At the start of my journey I found it difficult to do certain exercises (also due to an ankle injury), but James was really helpful and modified certain things to accommodate the injury. And now, I’m not only able to do exercises I was afraid of doing, but I’m able to do them confidently and many things I didn’t think I was able to do. I know I can count on James not only in the gym, but also at home when I need help with nutrition and staying focus. Because we all have bad days, but training with him makes even the bad days good. Been training weekly with James now for a while. Absolutely love our gym sessions and seen some fab results. Always gives me that extra push and encouragement when I feel unmotivated and boosts me back. Highly recommend if your looking for a personal trainer.
