This place is more than a gym. It’s a community of people dedicated to getting fit and doing better. There is no judgment at CrossFit Catawba Valley. Everyone is eager to help, teach, coach and cheer. The coaches are attentive and thoroughly guide you through each workout. I love my CrossFit family!

If you are visiting Hickory, this is THE place to workout. If you are lucky enough to live in Hickory then do yourself a favor and check this place out. This is by far the best gym in Hickory. I have been to 4 other CrossFit gyms between North Carolina and South Carolina and the size of the facility is huge, the atmosphere is awesome, people are amazing, and I get a great workout every class. 10/10 recommend everyone to come here. CrossFit Catawba Valley is hands down the best gym you will find in the Hickory area. All the coaches are personable and really try to meet your needs and goals you are trying to reach. I have came so far on my fitness journey and I owe it all to the coaches here. Cannot say enough good things about this gym! Come check it out, you will not regret it!

Ryan was the coach for my class. Very professional and helped each person in the class to complete each exercise through modification based on each person's baseline of knowledge. Very welcoming and I will definitely be going back for more classes.

I have been a member there a little over a year and love it! I love the coaches, the community, and how it has changed me for the better, physically. The class sizes are small and you get the 1:1 you need to learn the movements and to get better physically! I rank it as a 5 as I am so very impressed. Plus they give back to the community. Very large, well equipped facility built on a welcoming community. I came to town for a conference and needed to drop in for a class. Jay quickly responded to my questions and personally welcomed me. The coaches and fellow athletes were enthusiastic and supportive. If I lived here, this would be my gym.

Great facility and layout. You can see that the owners care about injury prevention and are dedicated to running their box the right way. Finally got to stop in this past week to work out and get my butt kicked.

It's been just over a year since I walked through the doors at CCV. I can honestly say I've never made a better decision when it comes to my health. My physical health is the most immediate thing people notice when they see me for the first time since beginning Crossfit here. However, I am most appreciative of the mental and social wellness I've found at CCV. The members care about each others success. It showed when I was introduced as a newbie to my first regular class, and it still shows when I go out to grab dinner with friends from class on a weekly basis now. CCV helped me get back to the feeling of being part of a team. They challenged me to be better, everyday. Not just the coaches, but my fellow classmates encourage and rally around each other. I CANNOT STRESS HOW AMAZING THESE PEOPLE ARE. The facility is huge for a crossfit gym. Tons of space to run multiple classes and dream up fun workouts. I dropped in a few weeks ago on my way back home from Arkansas. The facility is amazing. I went during their Open Gym time so I didn't really get a chance to speak to any of the actual athletes but just from speaking to Casey I could tell they were an awesome community. If you live around the area or just passing by, I highly recommend dropping in.
