This is by far without a doubt the finest MMA training facility in the area. I investigated several even a few closer to home. Nothing compared. Sensai Munoz is truly invested not only in his students but is their families as well. I was so impressed that he remembered who I was and called me on a first name basis the next time he saw me and he encounters and meets dozens of families students and parents constantly. He and his staff take time to know their students meet them at their level and give them the best training possible. It is the most interesting and diverse Karate Dojos I’ve ever experienced. There’re multiple instructors with their own unique way of teaching the arts. Not only do they teach the traditional forms of Karate, but integrate modern techniques, but Aikido and other forms that help make learning more fun in my opinion. These Senseis are amazing! Every single one of them. My son has been attending for 5 months and loves it. He always looks forward to going. They teach the kids to respect others, to strive to be better, to encourage each other, and how to loose AND how to win (the latter being as important as the first). They truly have a heart for the kids! There are so many different days and times to fit my ever changing schedule and even offer make up classes on Saturday. My son and I have been attending MAI since Aug 2018. Our experience so far has been phenomenal! All the Senseis are professional, highly-skilled and push you to do your absolute best. They’re a good balance of encouragement, fun and tough love. In the 7 months we have been a part of the MAI family, I have personally learned more than I ever did in the several YEARS I took martial arts at a different dojo in my childhood. Sensei Rick Manos (Owner) is awesome! He takes the time to check in with you, encourage you and ensure that you’re having a great time! It is especially rare that he keeps his dojo prices reasonable and fair. My son, David, has developed a particular liking to and completely looks up to Sensei Butler. My son has attended MAI's Lil Dragons program for 7 months and we have nothing but good things to say about this place. My son is excited to learn new katas and skills and has been trained to show respect and pay close attention beyond what most children are capable - in a good way. My son is definitely more prepared for Kindergarten than he would have been without his training at MAI. His sensei is kind and patient and does a wonderful job at balancing the fun and work aspects of learning karate. We love it here! Less

Was skeptical at first as the Little Dragons class was only 30 minutes and the room the class is held had no sitting room for parents so we have to sit outside but watching my daughters face glow every time we go has changed my skepticism. I also think the sensai's are really good with the kids and have realized it's probably better the parents aren't in the room as it's less distractions. What really sealed the deal and earned them 5 stars was a mini tournament they held. I was really impressed with how well it went and how well each Sensai treated the kids and encouraged them. My daughter sat the entire time when it wasn't her turn to compete and the tournament kept her attention with a smile on her face which for my 5 year old is very hard. They are also very reasonably priced being less expensive then other schools in the area. Less
