Quality of the garage roof installation was excellent. They had ran over some slate and cracked it up on 2 of the 4 slate pieces with their trailer. I didn't complain yet, otherwise 5 star.

We had a very good experience from the start of this project. Mark communicated and responded promptly. Brandan and his crew were respectful and did a great job on the roof and making sure that our property was protected from the debris. When the job was completed, they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The project was reasonably priced and I would recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about the job S&G Roofing did replacing my old roof & decking on the 60 year-old house I purchased last summer. They also detached, repaired & braced the smaller, corrugated asphalt roof over the back deck.First off, Mark, the sales rep, performed a thorough inspection, which found water damage, the start of some mold, and improper venting. He explained what needed to be done, and the expense involved. The turn around time was about 3 weeks.Next, Branden (the foreman) and his crew of 7 arrived promptly at 7 AM to get a jump on the rain that was supposed to move in toward sunset. We left the house just after the tearoff started, and both Mark and Branden kept me updated on their progress several times via phone, text and photos. In addition to replacing the shingles, decking and underlayment, they removed an unused satellite dish and old chimney stovepipe, added 80-90 small cap vents around the entire runs of soffit to improve the lack of adequate ventilation, and raised/braced a large section of the roof that had a 6" sag. Finally, they detached, cut & braced the smaller, poorly constructed deck roof, raising the trailing edge about 6" above the main roof line and gutter, leaving about 8-10" of overlap so the water would flow down into the gutter, and not in between the (now separate) main and deck roofs. They also braced the support poles and beams until they can be redone.They finished about 5 PM, and fortunately the rain had held off. Branden gave me about an hour heads up before they finished to allow us ample time to get back to the house so that neither of us would need to wait to do a walk-around and settle up. I'm thrilled with the work they did. And the crew was very polite, professional and friendly. They cleaned up thoroughly, including slowly running a magnet around the entire property so that they didn't leave any nails, pieces of drip edge, etc. I will deinitely recommend S&G Roofing to anyone in the area I encounter who mentions that they need roof work done.
