As a single older woman, I had been dreading the thought of putting a new roof on my home. But thanks to S&G, I now have a new roof that is absolutely gorgeous! A friend had recommended S&G, and I am thrilled that I went with this company. First of all, their quote came in just what they said it would, so there were no surprises there. During the on-boarding process, one of the things I wanted from a contractor was an itemized bill. Using the most up-to-date digital programs, their extremely competent sales person had it for me in no time, right on the spot. Plus, he explained things thoroughly, And answered all of my nervous questions. I never felt talked-down-to. In addition, I had been so overwhelmed by the scope of the job that I couldn’t even decide on a color. This Owens-Corning-backed company helped me with that aspect, too, and the black tile complements the brick exterior perfectly. The crew that actually did the work, and their foreman, worked efficiently, and with minimal disruption. They covered the flowerbeds; they cleaned up after their work, and much to my surprise, they were done by early afternoon. As in a lot of contracting jobs, there was a surprise issue, mine having to do with one of the exhaust pipes on top of the roof. I had been unable to secure a Mason to do the work on this task beforehand. Nonetheless, S&G quickly and competently provided the missing materials, and solved that concern, too. I was so grateful. So is it is without reservation that I recommend S&G for your roofing. Their professionalism, exacting skill, and reasonable prices make this a company who stands out, in terms of sales, customer satisfaction, and labor. This is a huge weight off of my shoulders.
