We stopped at Cimicky Wines to taste some wines as part of our Barossa valley discovery tour. Thank you so so much , Sarah, for looking after us during tasting, for patiently answering million questions and for just wonderfully professional customer service experience🍷😊 🍷
We had a lovely visit to this beautiful winery. We especially enjoyed the rosé and non-alocoholic wines and the whole experience was highly enjoyable! Sarah was professional, welcoming and knowledgable - guiding us through the tasting. Would recommend a visit! 🤩
Beautiful ambiance however wines weren’t to our palate.
Fantastic wines and sinning cellar door. Service was seamless beginning to end :)
Great wine great service
We had a terrible experience this time round. We where friends with Charles Cimicky. The lady at the cellar door was telling us the history of the winery but has no idea what she is talking about.
Clive in the cellar door is seriously the best. Everytime we're there he makes our day!
My wife and I with another couple had the very best experience at the cellar door in early February. Great service and beautiful wine. Would recommend to anyone, lovely winery. Will be going back next year😊🍷
Clive was knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Had lovely testing and purchased my favourite Shiraz. Highly recommend a visit.
Outstanding customer service and experience; I highly recommend the premium tasting, as you'll get to try some really unique expressions
Beautiful setting in the Barossa with some truly lovely wines presented by knowledgeable and passionate staff - a must-stop destination!!
Great cellar door wine tasting. Super informative host. One of the best experiences we had across the Barossa 10/10. Extra points for the guest who just rage quite their job
One of the best experiences we had in the Barossa. So much knowledge shared, we felt very attended to which wasnt common from our experince. He spent so much time explaining the history and making process and answering all our questions. The location was walkable and it was a stunning vintage location! Not to mention we enjoyed every wine that we sampled and came away with a box of 12!!!
We had a wonderful time visiting the winery with our family on Monday. Sarah was full of knowledge about the wines as she explained every wine we tasted. It was also good to hear about the history of the winery in such detail. Thanks for a lovely experience at the winery. We will come back soon. Alex, Tania and Alison
Clive is very knowlegable and helpful. The wines are excellent and the venue enjoyable.
Sarah, our host gave us a wonderful experience with the tasting yesterday. From her knowledge and history about the vineyards and family, through to each individual wine was outstanding.
Myself and my partner had a great experience tasting with Sarah. We came close to closing time and she is amazingly hospitable and patient with our tasting experience. Highly recommend the basket pressed 2021 wine.
Such a beautiful quaint cellar door. Excellent service, knowledgeable and wonderful experience. Beautiful wines and now added to our cellar. Thank you Clive.
Clive was so warm and welcoming. Super knowledgeable and very personable which made us feel so comfortable and relaxed!
Don’t miss this winery when in the Barossa! Honestly its stunning! Such a awesome surprise!
Magnificent Zero Alcohol you could purchase. Taste is same as normal alcohol.
What a great experience we had with our wine tasting and the stories about the history of the winery and we were all amazed with the quality of the wine. Definitely is the gem of the Barossa and has to be one winery that is on your list when visiting the Barossa. We will be back for sure.
Cimicky wines is stunning and all round exquisite. Top class customer service that provided a warm welcoming, detailed descriptions on the wine we were tasting and charisma. 100% would be back.
Wow, what a beautiful winery. It was so nice to visit a winery with great wines. Clive had set us up in a gorgeous room and was professional, knowledgeable and fun. Definitely will return
Detailed, relax and delicious wines
Clive was amazing, wines amazing! Thank you for a great morning 😊
Very nice! All wines were great and Clive has been a great host!! Beautiful boutique winery. We will come back!
Great tasting, great wine, lovely setting & building. Thanks for explaining the wines and looking after us Clive!
Best experience ever, wine was sensational!!!
Fantastic experience where Clive guided us through each wine. Beautiful winery! A true gem of the Barossa!
AMAZING!! Clive was so informative, every wine was delicious.
Best zero alcohol wine I ever had. We purchased 2 bottles. Only tasting of wine is permitted. They don't have full license for bar. Cosy Little winery with great taste. I liked white wines from them. They only do small batches. Must visit place if you are in Barossa.
Just found it , beautiful wines , excellent none alcoholic red and red bubbles , Clive is the chatty host .
Absolutely stunning winery. What a hidden gem. Cellar door manager is super knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us to explain the wines.

Stumbled across this little gem on our way to lunch nearby and loved it! We were so well looked after, the place has a charming vibe and the reds were divine. Will definitely return.
A group of 10 friends visiting the Barossa had an extraordinary experience at Cimicky wines. Andrew, the wine maker, generously shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for all things wine. We were treated to an extraordinary tour of the winery and a special barrel tasting. Thanks Andrew, the experience at Cimicky was the highlight of a wonderful week in the Barossa. Don't miss it.
Went with a large group for my birthday celebration and everyone loved this winery. The grounds itself was exceptional and it didn't feel like Adelaide. We had great wines and the owners were so accomodating. Will definitely have to come back
Tour organised for 13 and confirmed week before. The drove there and they were closed and not answering phones
Went on a wine tasting here, really exceptionally run by host. Sam was very personable, and even more knowledgeable. There was a beautiful selection of wines. Stunning location, lots of spots for lovely photos.
Last minute decision to stop at Cimicky Wines and so glad we did. The wines were all lovely and the Irish manager was a wonderful host. We will be back for sure.
Our first wine tasting stop at Barossa and we were not disappointed. Absolutely lovely little winery and very friendly. Thanks so much for a fantastic first experience. Made our day 💕
Lovely winery with a great photo op entering the cellar door. Staff were really pleasant talking through the wines and giving information about the local area. We didn't purchase on the day (traveling light), but definitely will as their wines are a stand put
Extraordinary redwine
Meg at Cimicky Wines was welcoming and very informative. The wines were explained with flair and realism. We went for the Sav Blanc and also the Hidden Gem Shiraz. Can't wait to go back again.
Awesome place, great wine and Sam was a legend. Very approachable, happy to walk us through it, showed us amazing wine. Awesome guy, great experience
Excellent range of wines. Usually there is one that doesn’t suit the tastebuds but not Cimicky Wines. Sam was lots of fun and made the experience even more enjoyable, along with his wife Kate they make a great team. Head along to Cimicky Wines for an enjoyable and fun experience.

Had an very memorable experience with Sam at Cimicky Wines. Amazing setting for wine to be appreciated. Their wines are top notch. May even go back tomorrow for their platters. Thanks Sam
Amazing wines!! BRILLANT HOST Sam!! Tastings are great
Sam. The most incredible host we have ever had the privilege to experience. A mixture of the knowledge, ambience, music and addition of a woodfire created the most perfect wine experience in the Barossa. By far the best red wines i have sampled. Thank you for the most memorable experience. Smile from ear to ear. Do not miss this place.
By happenstance we happened to choose to go to Cimiky and we were absolutely blown away. The little tour through the winery followed by some of the best red wines I’ve ever had made the experience amazing. An Absolutely Beautiful location. We sampled some of the most delicious wine at the cellar door. A wonderful atmosphere to sample some tasty red wine by a warm fire on a cold winters day. A definite highlight for our weekend at the Barossa!
Went here a couple weeks ago with my partner and some friends on a cold, windy winters day - what a great experience in the wine tasting, the room (with a slow combustion heater!) and the views out the window over the valley watching the rain and fog roll in. The wines were excellent, the staff providing the tasting were knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. Highly recommend.
After a hilarious unexpected cancellation at another winery we were reccomended to check out this place, and can't be more glad that we did. We had a great experience tasting and talking with Sam & Kate, both very knowledgable and passionate. Will definitely be back, thanks to the two of you for making our day!
I’ve just seen that someone wrote “hidden gem” and they are absolutely correct. We just did a Penfold Grange tour and the Shiraz and Cab Sav is a major rival to what we had there. I have not had a Cab Sav anywhere near comparable in the Barossa, The Vale or Hills. It is a rare thing to think that paying the price for the top wine in a vineyard is not a pull on the purse strings. We easily bought what is to be the first of many from this vineyard. Sam, you are worth your weight in gold for your personable amiable delivery and we hope to see you again soon. The development of the cellar, the distillery and the grounds is something we look forward to seeing and be a part of. Not to be dismissed are their more “drink now” range of Rose and Chardonnay, their younger reds are a great price and smooth as silk. We look forward to being a part of your journey x ps. The grounds are so romantically beautiful !!! Less

The name "hidden gem" definitely rings true for Cimicky wines. We could have walked around the stunning grounds for hours! Sam had an extensive knowledge of the wines and heritage and was very easy to talk to. Thanks Sam we will definitely be back! PS You are hilarious!
What can I say about Cimicky Wines and their cellar door? One of the most picturesque wineries in the region and you wouldn't know it existed even when you drive directly past the entrance. The cellar door staff are a delight especially that Sam, he is delicious.

Extremely top class service by Sam, location & wines.
Best kept secret in the Barossa - if you don't know about it then I feel sorry for you.
So Cimicky has opened its cellar door after a break and if you have not been, make it a priority! Some brilliant wines and great hosts. The setting just tops off the experience. Now on our "must visit" list.
Sam is an absolute legend. Even if you dont like wine it's s worth the visit. Come on a sunday when he's "impaired" his tour is amazing. Hes makes sure no-one misses out
This hidden gem has reopened and we're all the better for having been there. One of the most welcoming cellar doors ever experienced, in a beautiful setting. The wines are pretty good too! Wishing hosts Sam & Kate much ferkin success. Go visit, you won't be disappointed!
Had a great time at the winery! Great service and great wines :)
Sam was delightful! We were his first group through for a wine tasting and his Irish accent and comments were incredibly welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit. Prices are also such a great deal too.
