We had a birthday party here for our kids. They all had so much fun! The crafts were great and the owner and staff made it so easy for everyone. I highly recommend for a party and any craft event!!!!

We had our Grandmas birthday get together here and we just had such a delightful time. The instructor was professional but also personable, and extremely nice. The supplies provided worked great and I am so in love with my painting. I would definitely recommend this place!

Meredith and Craft Theory are fun! I had my 40th birthday party here and everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere is peaceful and creative with lots of local artists crafts for sale and inspiration. This is the perfect place to come for a relaxing and joyful event. We made affirmation cards for my party, some are in the picture.

THE BEST TACOMA BIRTHDAY PARTY SPOTI’ve held parties here, taken my son for classes, and have had my friends hold birthday parties here. It has a fun storefront where there’s always great local crafts and items from local artists to explore.The second part of the store is open with tables for actually digging in and getting artsy and crafty yourself.LAKEWOODS BEST PLACE TO HOST PARTIES AND CRAFTMy wife and I did some cool movie style paintings of some TV show characters we liked that when we put our 2 canvases together created a city scape.We have also done planters, sled Santa’s, and more. I need to take another class soon as they’re always fun ( check out the gnomes)Craft theory In Lakewood, Wa. Is a great place for parties, birthday parties, corporate parties ( we did ours here), shopping for local artist goods, taking classes and expressing your artist that may be too busy to come out.We always have a fun time, great variety of snacks and the owner Meredith is super nice and accommodating ( we ran late a few instances painting …being a perfectionist) and she’s always patient, encouraging, and kind.If you’re looking for a party spot in Lakewood, shopping, or to get some guidance on art and crafting this is the spot!I’ve attached pictures of some of the parties we’ve held, craft classes we’ve done and art work in process. They even provided us with a Santa ( make sure to book that WAY in advance!).Have fun!

What an unexpected gem in the heart of Lakewood. Forget the mall. Go here! Support local businesses and creative, friendly business owners. Not only can you do a crafts class here with your gal pals or your kids or what-have-you, they also have a great gift shop with all locally made items, including crafting kits and other gifts made by the owner herself. Very impressive. We went for a paint night and it was so much fun. The owner was fun and warm and welcoming. Guests were naturally drawn together while accessing all of our inner creative children. Very worthwhile. And go home with some jewelry or a make a dragon kit or some cool knitted coffee cozies! Will shop here again and hopefully attend another class as well. Thank you!
