While I initially chose Melbourne Gas & Air based on their positive reviews, my experience has unfortunately been less than satisfactory. During the initial visit, the service felt more like an inspection rather than a full maintenance service, which led me to request a discount. I appreciated the $250 reduction in my invoice and the technician’s efforts, but I still had concerns about the thoroughness of the work. Despite follow-up emails sent on 31 August and 9 October requesting quotes for repairs or a new air conditioning system, I never received the promised quotes. The lack of follow-through on my requests, despite assurances, has left me disappointed. While the initial service was conducted with professionalism, the lack of responsiveness and the incomplete nature of the service have fallen short of my expectations. I hope this feedback encourages the company to improve its communication and service delivery in the future. Less

A massive thank you to Curtis, from Melbourne Gas and Air. They promptly came out and serviced mums ducted heating as it was beginning to play up. They serviced the heater but noticed it was old and there were no spare parts for it. They said it seemed to be working but raised concerns there could be a problem with the control board. It worked fine for a few days then it died. After discussions about how to proceed in the most cost effective way, Curtis suggested we try and upgrade the thermostat/controller. This would cost about $220 fitted as opposed to $3000 for a new unit. Curtis attended again and replaced the Thermostat, which didn't work. This left no option but to replace the unit. Curtis didn't charge for the Thermostat and he went above and beyond to replace the unit quickly for my elderly mother. Thanks Curtis for your honesty and work ethic. Less

Great service friendly staff honest opinion very helpful...

Don't waste your time with these guys, they don't respond back to messages or calls after numerous attempts and don't provide any warranty on the work they do. My Brivis system is still not working correctly after the messed it up. Stay clear!

I strongly recommend this company. They are so professional and quick. My wife and I were amazed how serious and quick they are in their work. Fixing and cleaning the system and changing the position of the display only took 15 minutes! So happy with their service.
