Annie was nice and kind, but her work is horrible. I asked for acrylic and it’s so bulky and not the shape I wanted. I kept communicating with her throughout the process but she did not good at all. I tried to trust the process and it turned out really ugly, I came home to file my nails. They are not it. For $95 it’s definitely a rip off and never going to it again. It is unfortunate. I see why people are ditching the salon they are so expensive and over priced. I would understand if they employed skilled nail techs that had skill. But no. I will pass for now( update 9/18/2026 kimi did a great job with doing my nails and I got amazing customer services!! I loved The doggies too! )

I was seeing a girl at a nail salon in Alhambra. I really wanted a great nail 💅 person as this was the first time I was going to spend some time and money on how I present myself. For about 2 months I suffered thick and bumpy nails. Ick. The Beauty Bar SGV is close to me. Like 6 minutes away. Bb has done a great job on my eyebrows. I thought id soft launch myself in a less expensive service to see if I like the vibe. Indeed, I do. The owner's two adorable, friendly Shihtzu's, lounge about and quietly offer themselves up for scratches and oogling. My MAN, King, was my nail tech. I cannot rave enough how I love the vibe at @beautybarsgv. King's ability to give me exactly what I wanted on how my nails should look like, he way exceeded my expectations. As i paid, I told King he was stuck with me. And to "see you in 2 weeks". Awesome one-stop beauty bar.
