After a catastrophic car crash causing a number of fractures throughout my body, I had a bad experience with in-patient rehab and knew I would be safer to rehab and recover at home. I searched the sites for local home care services and was very impressed with the background of the Founder or Boca Home Care Services, now Caregivers of America. I received a courteous, prompt response to my inquiry, offering full explanation of the services provided. I was introduced to an extraordinary staff member, Nadine, to help me with showering and basic self care needs while I am not weight-bearing and still in pain. I immediately recognized the heart of a true caregiver in Nadine, wanting to provide comfort and care to those in need as I am now. She makes sure I am able to shower safely and keep up my routine of skin and hair care. It has been a pleasure to spend time with her, getting to know her and learn more about her cultural background. Before leaving she even stops to chat with my husband (also injured so unable to help me), and he is as fond of her as I am.
