Wow - when I saw all those 5-star reviews, I thought "either (1) this place is awesome or (2) they have a lot of friends willing to pump up the ratings". After our first visit (and noticing that at least one of the reviews was from an actual friend of ours) it is clear that (1) is true, and I'm sure they're making a lot of new friends. The owner is super-friendly, the food is really tasty, and, for a place where you order at the counter, it's really pleasant to visit. We ordered a Chicken Tawouk wrap, Fatoush Salad, a cheese flatbread, and, to take home, a container of bulgur / chickpea salad. We enjoyed them all and look forward to working our way through the rest of the menu! We prefer to eat at restaurants rather than take-out, and there is ample seating in the bright, clean dining room. There is plenty of take-out going on, but it didn't disturb our dining experience. Authentic. Organic. Clean. Fair prices. Zaatar was one of my favorite foods as a kid, but highly sensitive to gmo gluten and enriched wheat grown in the US sprayed with glyphosate, I haven't found bread that doesn't cause my body abdominal discomfort, digestive issues, brain fog, days of lethargy and mood swings. This is one of the few places I can trust. The bread here is made from organic whole ingredients they list out on their menus and has caused my body no issues. I am so happy to be able to eat bread again. All dishes are prepared with organic olive oil as far as I can tell, with exception to the deep frier, which I have not asked about. They don't cheap out. That means no government subsidized industrial seed oils that just about every other restaurant uses, destroying our metabolic health. An absolute delight! Bread thyme offers authentic and delicious Lebanese cuisine. Every dish is a feast for the senses. The falafel is wonderfully crispy, and the sandwich (chicken chawarma) and salads (Fattoush and Cesar salad) are incredibly fresh. We are so excited to have a new Lebanese restaurant open on Centre Street! The breads are insanely delicious as well as the chicken kebab. This will definitely be in my family’s regular rotation!!! Less

What a treasure! We stopped in for the zatar bread which was outstanding. We also had the spinach pie that was stuffed with veggies and had a lovely lemon tang. I stopped in on my way home today. I tried the tabouli salad with chicken kabobs. Tabouli was delicious, and it was a good portion. The chicken was very well seasoned and so tender. I loved it! I also tried some thyme bread. Must heat up in the oven (not microwave). It was a good size, and had a hint of lemon (I am a very lemony girl!). The people that work there are super nice and want to make sure you enjoy the food. I'll definitely be back to try more things! Less
