My GSD has a high prey drive and is very reactive to other dogs. I contacted Buck's for help with leash manners and reactivity. Stephanie called me immediately and set up a meet and greet with us. They observed her and listened to my concerns, and a three week board and training program was formulated.My dog also has an autoimmune disorder that effects her nose and requires a daily med routine. It was no problem at all!Once I dropped her off (it was like sending her to camp with all her stuff 🤣) I received pictures and videos several times each day of training and playtime. Communication is excellent during the training program. She even got to go on a field trip to town to dog friendly places as part of her training!When it was time to bring her home I was given clear instructions and hands on training for me so we could continue at home.The transformation has been fantastic! Taking her to the vet doesn't require staying in the car until our turn because of waiting room aggression. She's learning distraction impulse control with the proper commands. Leash manners are 💯 improved. It's one of the best investments you can make for yourself and your fur babies!The relationship didn't just end with training day graduation. I can call with any questions, help and suggestions for new situations for her and get answers and suggestions. Buck's Dog Training was the absolute best choice that I have made for my pup, Milo. As a 1-year-old herding breed with anxiety, he was struggling with severe leash reactivity after a cross-country move. Before his three-week board-and-train, his behavior had gotten so bad that walks became the most stressful part of our day, and we were avoiding leaving our home with him. Thanks to the incredible work of this team, our walks have become the best part of our routine, and he goes with us wherever he can! Buck’s provided him with the confidence, skills, and experience he needed to safely navigate stressful situations. They also ensured that my husband and I could continue his training through video lessons, a group chat where we can ask questions, and a mini owner training session before pick-up. Overall, we could not recommend them enough!

Bucks Dog Training is absolutely AMAZING!!!We boarded our Vizsla for a week while we visited family. The personalized attention, care, and training that our dog received was beyond our expectations!! We received daily video updates and photos of agility training and obedience training and days spent on their beautiful farm. He was the happiest dog!After just one week our dog was transformed!Thank you so much for your exceptional care & training! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!

UPDATE: One year after her initial training and a couple of kennel stays with Buck’sGood morning 🌞 I have to tell you how impressed I am with Lola! We were out for our walk last night and she was unbothered by another dog that was walking paralleled to us across the street. She minded her own business the entire time! Then, just this morning we were walking by two small yapping dogs and she completely ignored them. She has come a long way! I never would have thought this was possible for Lola. All of her training has really helped her become the amazing dog I always knew she was. Thank you for all your hardwork and dedication to her!I took my dog Lola to Buck’s Dog Training to help with her aggression toward other dogs, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The staff was patient, professional, and truly dedicated to her progress. By the end of her stay, Lola could walk calmly past another dog without lunging or jumping—something I never thought possible. The training has transformed her into a much healthier and happier dog. I only wish I had done it sooner! Not only has Lola’s behavior improved, but my own confidence in walking her has grown. I would highly recommend Bucks Dog Training!!!!My name is Candi and I own a 17 month old Longhair German Shepherd. Her name is Iris.Before taking her to Bucks dog training I had actually thought about finding a good home for her. She is an amazing fur baby!!! I just thought she was to much for me to handle. She would jump on me and bite at my ankles and yes she has knocked me down quite a few times. She wouldnt listen and she was very hyper. I love Iris so I thought I would try Bucks dog training. After looking at the reviews I sent them a message and I immediately got a returned phone call from Stephanie! We talked for a long time. She listened to all of my problems I was having with Iris and we decided to do the 2 week training. During the 2 weeks I received pictures and videos daily and messages of her progress. Iris also has stomach issues and when she did i would receive a message from Stephanie and she would tell me that they were going to give her chicken and rice. They took great care of her!!!! I felt at ease when I left her that day.After the 2 weeks I went and picked Iris up and WOW what a transformation!!!!! Iris is very well mannered now. No jumping, no running in the house, no dragging me when we go out for walks and no knocking me down.I would highly recommend Bucks Dog Training for your fur baby!! Everyone there is amazing! I have also had a few questions since Iris has been home and I always get a response. They continue to work with you even when your pet leaves.Stephanie and her team are very nice, knowledgeable, caring and eager to work with your fur baby.
