I have two very strong dogs. Both of them pulled on walks, and it was not a good experience for any of us! One dog was reactive. The other dog just had no manners at all.I sent both dogs to Buck’s VA to learn basic obedience and leash manners in a 3- week Board and Train. I am super happy. They worked on not only basic obedience but also the reactivity.The dogs came home and there is no more howling at the fence at the neighbors or the other dogs. We can walk with the dogs by our side hardly holding the leash. They have a great mastery of all the doggie basics like “sit”, “down”, “place” ,”off” and “out”. We now feel like we have a better relationship with our dogs as they look to us for guidance.

Our EmmyLou has been home a week now, after 2 weeks of board and train. Let me say the training she received is exceptional and we know it all depends on us to reinforce what she has learned. Her manners, walking, and recall has improved so much we are truly amazed and grateful for all the time and effort from Buck’s Dog Training! I definitely recommend this company. Keeping us updated with video and pictures was awesome! Definitely worth the money!

Buck’s was a phenomenal choice for our puppy Penny’s board & train! While our puppy had a great temperament, we have a very busy lifestyle and two young kids at home so as she was getting more comfortable in our home, she began jumping up on the kids and play biting to the point of tears from them. She was jumping up on furniture and starting to run from the yard. I chose to do a few in-home lessons with Buck’s before Penny reached the suggested age for board and train, which I’d highly recommend. There, I was able to learn the command verbiage they utilize and start with some of the fundamental training they would further develop with her. We extended our two weeks to three weeks and cannot tell you what a game changer it’s been since she came home! She’s only been home a couple days and is positively demonstrating all of the amazing skills she learned at training. I know this was the best investment we could have made because I’m now confident Penny can go anywhere with us. I even went to friend’s birthday party this past weekend who had a puppy twice the age of Penny who was jumping all over the kids and had no leash manners whatsoever- the parents seemed stressed and I immediately recommend Buck’s and I know they will be calling soon! Every penny was worth it for our Penny and we can’t wait to send her back for camps and boarding with her new friends! Thanks Buck’s!!

Buck’s Dog Training in Virginia is top of the line both in the staffing and training facility. Dogs receive plenty of fresh air and quality care while being trained. Trainers each have many years of qualifications making it easy for the dogs to learn with proven techniques. My ill mannered 1 year old was returned to me a perfect gentleman after 3 weeks training. My dogs coat and weight are the same if not better after boarding & training at Buck’s. Excellent communication via WhatsApp with daily videos and photo’s of my best friend being trained and and cared for made it easy on me.
