Tough workouts but very friendly and warm welcoming trainers and group

I've been in many gyms and training for long time. But the experience I had with Calisthenics Amsterdam was unique. Starting with the trainers, the exercises all the way to the group members. The training they give is so fun, advanced and painful, one of my best experience so far in the sport. I'm so happy I found this place, can't wait till the next session. Keep it up Guys !!!

I started going to group classes at the end of last year and I really like it! There’s a really good vibe, everyone is friendly, you can go at your own pace as the trainers adapt to each person's level. You have a real follow-up and it's very motivating to see the progress :) I already feel stronger and always looking forward to the next class. I definitely recommend!

Great program! I did a 12-week personal training program with Bryan and have improved a lot. I unlocked the back lever, weighted chin up with 30kg and weighted dips with 35kg. I'm also able to do a one leg human flag now. Really love the work Bryan and Wesley have put in!

A very nice and good place to start learning calisthenics and also very good for people that already have more skills in calisthenics. They have classes for beginners to very skilled. I've been practicing calisthenics for quite some time now outside and in the gym; never in group sessions though. After going to calisthenics Amsterdam I was immediately hooked! Good equipment, good instructor & good beats. Also working out with a group of likeminded people is extremely refreshing :D

I’ve been training at CA for almost a year now and for me CA is the best gym I’ve ever went to. I love the fact that the gym is outside. Wesley is really a top notch trainer who respects everybody’s personal level. Really feels like home.

Everyone including trainers and members are super friendly and supportive. Trainers always pay attention and correct your technique in group trainings. This is especially important to prevent potential injuries. After years of trying multiple gyms in Amsterdam, I finally found my favorite place! Love this community!

Some friends asked me what's so special about it, because you can easily do many exercises on your own, at home as well. Thats true (except for any fun tricks & exercises in the insanely nice new park!), but at home I wouldn't do the same amóúnt of exercises. The workout is more intense/more reps than I do at home, yet it feels less intense because of the positive energy of the group! ;-) Apart from that, the trainers are highly skilled and knowledgeable in what they do, and the trainings are fun and creative. Their approach is super personal, unlike I've experienced at any other gym or sports club. Apart from knowing your name, they reach out to individuals (during and outside of training) to make sure everyone is doing allright, get feedback and share ideas. The personal approach is at such a high level that you feel really welcome, regardless of your fitness level or skillset in calisthenics! And to all women afraid for ending up in a testosterone-overloaded place: no worries! I had my first training being the only female in the group (and I'm short haha!) between a couple of tall & strong guys, but never felt uncomfortable: everyone's 100% respected & encouraged at their own level. The park itself is modern and new. The trainings challenge and cater to all people with varying degree of fitness background.

After my first workout at Calisthenics Amsterdam, I immediately got a membership, and I don't regret it! The workouts take place in a nice outdoor area in Amsterdam Noord, with a lot of privacy. The teachers give progression exercises to make sure everybody has the option to train on his or her level. This is great for beginners like myself to ensure safety. The workouts have just the right level of intensity where you feel challenged and motivated. This gym has a great community feeling, everyone is very nice and supportive! Toffe plek, goede lessen! De ene keer is de training zwaarder dan de andere keer maar altijd zeker een leuke uitdaging. De sfeer is altijd heel gezellig (net een soort familie) en wat je niveau ook is, iedere training is goed te volgen. Je krijgt hele goede persoonlijke feedback wanneer deze nodig is om zo goed aan de techniek te kunnen werken.

Great Calisthenics lessons with an urban vibe. The classes are fun and of good quality. Time is spend on a good warming-up and cooling down. You can train at your own level and the trainer keeps an eye out that exercises are executed with proper form!

Dit is een vette plek om je gym verkregen spieren wat praktische moves te leren! Heb net een Abbo afgesloten omdat dit precies is wat ik miste in Amsterdam.

Ben zelf altijd wat terughouden om met groepen te trainen (ik hou niet zo van dat haantjes gedrag) maar voelde me hier vanaf het eerste moment al thuis. er hangt een heerlijke sfeer, gezellige mensen en een super trainer die iedereen persoonlijk begeleid om zo iedereen te motiveren om tot het gaatje te gaan.

De locatie (Roest) past perfect bij de verschillende trainingen. Ik heb het er helemaal voor over om helemaal van de andere kant van de stad te komen. De trainingen zijn super fijn, gevarieerd en geeft je (uiteindelijk) veel energie. Goed verzorgd ook zo met die banaantjes!! Het geheel word afgemaakt door de trainer himself. Te fijne vent, die weet hoe je motiveren moet!

Alles is daar leuk, behalve de pijn die je lijdt, maar daar kom je voor.

A trainer with plenty of experience and insights in what kind of training suits your needs. The different trainings cater to both people who want loose weight and people who might want to gain. The setting is industrial which I like. And the afters in Roest on Thursdays can't be missed!
