We completed a six-week training program with Jed, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the experience! Our 1.5-year-old golden retriever, Henry, struggled with resource guarding around food that began to carry over into random objects, and he was also reactive on the leash during walks.Since working with Jed, Henry has made incredible progress. More importantly, Jed didn’t just train Henry - he taught us how to properly manage and respond to his behavior. Now that Henry is home, we feel confident continuing what we’ve learned, and he is doing absolutely wonderful.Jed was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, always taking the time to answer any and every question we had. He also provided weekly updates on Henry’s progress, which gave us so much peace of mind. One thing we really appreciate is that once you work with Jed, you have him as a resource for a lifetime. Our female golden retriever was 9 months old when we started training with Jed in our home. Penny, a smart, loving, high energy dog, sometimes treated commands as negotiable and was nervous and unsure of herself at times. As a senior I became concerned that Penny might become too strong and rambunctious for me to handle safely, so we hired Jed to help shape her into a reliably obedient dog. I had built a good relationship with her but needed help to communicate clearer messages, hold her accountable and learn good timing for commands, consequences, affirmation and reward. Teaching me clearer communication and practicing that consistently increased her confidence facing challenging or frightening situations, made her calmer greeting others, is making recall more consistent and has generally helped make her a more obedient pet. With Jed's help Penny has become a wonderful addition to the family.

My 9 month old golden retriever had been running my household for 7 months before I finally reached out to Jed about training. The puppy was constantly bullying my wife, terrorizing my adult dog, and dominating anybody who walked him. After several calls with Jed, we decided to book a 4 week board and train with him. We have had our puppy back for a week now and he is still his goofy self with a big personality, but is now well disciplined, walks on a loose leash, listens to commands, and treats us as his master instead of litter mates. What I’ve noticed most is our dogs ability to settle and be bored without constantly looking to us for entertainment. I interviewed numerous local trainers, and can’t recommend Jed’s services enough. I’m excited to continue to work with him and build our dogs training.

Jed did an amazing job with my dog Iroh. Iroh was struggling with a lot of reactivity that made going on walks incredibly stressful. After 4 weeks with Jed, Iroh can go on a walk without issue. No longer chasing after cars or barking at other dogs. Super greatful for Jed's help!

We completed a two-week training session with Jed and the results were amazing could not be happier. Our six month old yellow lab Jace came home a well mannered eager to please happy boy. Our dog’s foundational skills became much more polished, and her leash manners improved dramatically, making walks a pleasure instead of a challenge. We trust Jed so much that we now board our dog with him, something we’ve never felt comfortable doing before. She absolutely loves seeing him, and every stay feels like a positive booster for her training.

I genuinely can’t describe how amazing the entire thing was.Nessie was away at training for 4 weeks. Every week on Tuesdays and Fridays I would get an update on how she’s doing and adjusting along with pictures. So that I would know she’s doing well and what to expect. Jed was and continues to be amazing throughout. Nessie absolutely loved him and I couldn’t be happier with her training. If anybody is looking for any kind of training for their pup, I am without hesitation, sending them to Jed. He cares about his work, the dogs he trains, and the family’s of the dogs as well.
