When my friend first sent me a link to this trip, I thought to myself, "here's my chance to finally see Norway in the winter," but little did I know that I was in for a real treat that almost felt surreal at times. The view of snow capped mountains after mountains and ocean were breathtaking. This trip instantly became one of the best adventures that I've had in quite a long time. It was truly magical, seeing and experiencing Lofoten, Norway in all its wintery glory...through snowshoeing up the mountain. The experience was more enhanced with new and meaningful connections. Everyone bonded and had such great time together. The food was delicious. We got to see the northern lights dance above us. I was introduced to the art and dance of hula hooping. The trip also allowed me to fulfill my dream of cold-plunging and sauna in the arctic. I'm excited for the next one!

The 2024 Hoop'n'hike winter edition was my BEST vacation and retreat to date! Wow! Everything was absolutely perfect: the views were stunning, the activities were a blast and Elisabeth's love for her community and region shone through in everything we did. I am glad and proud to have performed for the Lofoten folks, who really gave love back to us <3 Bonus points for the chef and the photographer who really made this week extra special. I'll go back in a heartbeat!

In the summer of 2019, I went to Lofoten and got memories that I will take with me for the rest of my life. As a beginner, but with an open mind, I got the full package! I learned a lot with the hula hoop and it was so much fun! Such good training, happy people and an atmosphere that warms the heart to this day! We had a special contact between us who were there between the mountains. Elisabeth is the world's best teacher and hostess. I want to go back❤

This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. It was wonderful to meet other women from all around the world that shared the same passions as I. The islands were beautiful and Elisabeth was so hospitable. The entire experience was truly amazing and I will never forget the beautiful souls, scenery, and self journey I experienced. The hoop teachers were all fabulous and the hikes were challenging but fun! I would recommend this to anyone that loves hooping and being outdoors.
