Today's visit was very disappointing. I'm a 32-year-old male who exercises regularly, trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is generally healthy. My regular chiropractor was out of town, so I called different chiropractic offices to see if I could do a walk-in visit to get relief from nagging neck pain from Jiu Jitsu. Dr. Lukes said they would take a walk-in. I clarified that I already have a chiropractor and needed a one-time visit. After being told I could come in, I completed the paperwork and showed up a few hours later. I reiterated to the doctor that I already had a chiropractor, but he was out of town, and I just needed an adjustment for my sore neck due to Jiu Jitsu. He seemed okay with that. During the meeting, he asked about my deductible, which I found odd but answered. After this, he took me to a different room and said he needed to take X-rays. I reluctantly agreed, thinking it was for liability reasons. After taking the scans, he left the room and returned, saying he would need to review the x-rays the next day and have me return. In the meantime, he would do a relief session with me. He asked me to lie down on my stomach and lightly touched my neck and back without providing an adjustment or any relief. I want to be very clear about this part. He simply felt around on my neck and back. Nothing at all was done for any relief. After this, he said the receptionist would schedule me for a patient plan, which confused me since I had clarified that I only needed a one-time visit. When I expressed my frustration to the receptionist and explained that I didn't want to be scheduled for future visits, she told me that they don't do single visits and that all their patients are on care plans. She couldn't tell me how much I would owe since she didn't know what my insurance would cover. I feel like I will end up owing them money for a treatment they never provided and for X-rays I didn't need. This experience gave me the impression that the practice prioritizes money over patient care. I've been to many chiropractors over the years, and while some are focused on the patient's well-being, I didn't get the same vibe from this office. I wouldn't go back there or recommend it to others. I feel like I explained what I wanted/needed, but they did not communicate what they would provide. If they could not offer that service, I would have been fine asking a different provider. No harm, no foul. However, for me to communicate what I was asking for and receive the service I did was extremely frustrating. They either did not listen to me when I was speaking or they are about the bottom dollar over patient. Neither of which is okay, but I hope they fix it. I hope I'm wrong about their practice, but I will not be going back. Less

Dr. Luke and Amanda are amazing! I highly recommend them! They fit me in right away the same day that I called to schedule a consultation to help me with chronic vertigo! The vertigo gets so bad for me that I can't drive to work and I suffer with vestibular migraines from it. Well, I got instant relief after my very first visit! Dr Luke and his staff are amazing. After suffering from migraines every day for the last 10+ years, I finally have hope that the frequency of these can be decreased.
