Used these guys before and really didn't have an issue. Besides the bill came and they tried charging me for something the tech didn't even do. I called and of course they had to verify with the tech then the bill was adjusted. This time I called because I have a large lighted sign that I needed help with. A tornado came through our town and it pulled the sign away from the building and left bare exposed wires out of the conduit. The lady that answered said she would call back with when they could come. After no call back, I called a 2nd time and was told the same thing. She called back to say that she could send a guy but it would be a $500 charge just to come! When I asked why it was over FOUR TIMES the amount she told me the 1st time I called, her response was: because they had to pull a guy off of a job far away. I said WOW, I never once said I was in a hurry but was simply asking when they could make it since nobody bothered to call me back. When I expressed how shocked I was at price gouging a business, she said she could go back to the owner and tell them how I felt. I said you sure should go back to the owner and tell him he should be ASHAMED of price gouging a fellow business owner! BEWARE! I read the other reviews before making this one and don't need some generic response or apology nor do I plan on removing my review. They did enough by attempting to price gouge me to begin with. Called another sign place called Yesco Sign & Lighting and the guy couldn't believe the price gouging! Said he would be happy to fix my sign at NORMAL prices. Less

We have used them twice now for electrical work at St. Paul Lutheran Church and have been very happy with them. The first time I called them out was to get a quote to replace our parking lot lights and then knew of a program through Ameren that would replace them with LEDs at now cost to the church. Of the quotes I received S&S was the only one to mention the program. When they installed the parking lot lights they informed me of another program again through Ameren to replace the Florescent tube lights with LEDs and again at no cost to the church. At St. Paul we are very great full for their knowledge about the programs that are being offered. In addition to their knowledge of the programs they are great to work with and professional. Less

Great company to call if you need electrical work done! 😊 Very friendly and professional! My technician was amazing. He came out first thing on a Saturday since I had no electricity and no air conditioning in either bedrooms in the condo I rent. He didn’t want me and my family who was in town to spend another night with not even a fan with 90 degree weather. We needed a completely new panel which was old and half melted. Even though the panel couldn’t be put in until the soonest Monday, he stayed much longer than he needed to and made sure he reworked things so we had air conditioning and my electricity in my bedrooms were back on. He was also extremely thorough in explaining in great detail and with much patience to owner the situation. They liked him so much they only wanted him to come back and do the work personally and took his info to bring to their office. S & S came highly recommended to me and I can see why now. The scheduler was super responsive, caring and worked hard to get someone to me quickly. I received confirmation and update texts and the electrician went above and beyond. They are the new preferred electrical company for my condo association and I will definitely refer them to my friend who is installing landscape lights. Less

Not only did S&S come out and find out what the issue was but they also informed us on how much we could be saving by using LED. They were very prompt and respectful while in our home.
