I started with CrossFit muscle yard a few weeks back and loving it so far. Really friendly helpful staff/coaches that help you through all the movements and lifts if you are just beginning.
Been going to muscle yard for the pass two weeks, had majority of the classes i’ve attended taught by Rob. been into fitness nearly two years now and wanted to find a community within fitness also somewhere to push me to my fullest. the teams down at muscle yard have put together a great fitness hub for all capabilities and I’m great full to be a part of it.
Training is brutal, just how I like it. Classes each day are structured, varied with techniques well broken down suited to match all abilities. Great coaches and crowd. Definitely recommend CrossFit Muscle Yard

I joined CFMY almost a year ago now and i continue to be amazed at the variety and variation of workouts, its entertaining and engaging. There is something for all skill/fitness levels. The coaches are friendly and knowledgable and the members are a fantastic group of people to which i am proud to be a part of 😁
I had completely lost all motivation before joining CrossFit muscle yard. The classes are great as not only are you pushed to your own individual limit, they are challenging and fun too. Learning new movements and exercises has been great for me mentally and physically. A great place if your looking for some new found motivation for your fitness goals.

An absolute cracking box/gym. I assumed I had to have a certain level of fitness before I could join. How wrong was I. There are all levels here and everyone is welcomed and encouraged to train to the best of their abilities. All classes are taught by friendly and approachable coaches. Give it a go, it'll be the best thing you'll do to start your crossfit journey

If you enjoy pushing yourself and being pushed to be stronger, faster and just generally fitter; then this is the place for you. There are many reason I like CrossFit Muscle Yard, the biggest one for me is how versatile the workouts are. Everyone can find something they good at, while challenging yourself to grow in other areas as well. I LOVE those burnouts at the end. The only thing I regret is not starting sooner!
Have been a member for over 3yrs now and never looked back. CrossFit teaches you so many different disciplines and puts you within an amazing community of people who are all striving for the same results. Half the battle is making it to the gym but once you start CrossFit you won’t want to leave!!

Large and well equipped CF box, with experienced and friendly coaches, the atmosphere and community is very nice, everyone is helping and motivating each other, the best box I have ever used, wouldn’t change it, highly recommended for athletes with any level of fitness
The gym is great, loads of equipment, clean, sessions are challenging and varied, not too many people in a class and the coaches are super helpful. Above everything else everyone is really friendly and genuinely cheer each other on.

The atmosphere is always lively and it's definitely a healthy training environment - not intimidating at all! I really like that beginners and advanced CrossFitters can train together. It's amazing to see people in their 50s/60s do more sets than I do (beginner here)! The coaches are well-trained and will demonstrate all the workouts before we start. They are able to provide alternate ways to do particular workout (e.g. overhead dumbbell press/pike pushups instead of handstand pushups) to suit each person's ability. They are constantly monitoring our form throughout the session. Making sure we are focusing on quality rather than just quantity. We are also provided with an app to book classes, key-in our results and progress. The emails we get are also helpful (healthy recipes, explanations of workouts etc) If you are looking for a place to start and/or increase your fitness, I would recommend giving this a go :) Less

After speaking with Rob and booking in my fundamentals session I felt excited but quite nervous. Gemma was my coach for my fundamentals session and she was incredible, made me feel so at ease. Crossfit Muscleyard is not just an other gym / box, here you don’t just have a membership but you are part of the team. We have an amazing community where everyone is a friend, we laugh together and cheer eachother on. The workouts can be scaled to match any fitness level and you always leave the gym buzzing …The coaches are supportive, full of knowledge and always there to answer any question.
Be prepared to work hard in a friendly and fun environment, with some knowledgeable coaches prepared to help everyone. Be careful it's addictive.

The best gym iv ever been to! Iv been coming to CMY for 4-5 months and I absolutely love it! was so scared at first incase I wouldn’t of been able to anything but all the workouts are scaled to you and your fitness levels so your able to improve each time! Also everyone is really friendly and supportive and the coaches are amazing too. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
Rob, Gemma and the team have not only built a great community but one of the best equipped gyms I have been to. The workouts are tailored to each persons ability with all members keen to support and encourage each other. A truly unique gym.

Love this gym… the coaches, the workouts, the people, the community! A place that is always pushing you to give that little more and therefore achieving things you didn’t think you could.. and that gives me a great buzz. I’ve had PT’s over the years and I can defiantly learnt far more in the two hours than I did with any PT I’ve had - this includes the coaching you get in the daily classes. I cannot stress enough PLEASE DO NOT BE PUT OFF IF YOU DO NOT OR HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE GYM. For every exercise there are multiple different options that will suit you, this includes minor injuries/aches and pains I’ve learnt that you are always competing against yourself in the box, but you have many people round you to push you on through the workout. Great gym if you are looking for a workout with a difference. It's a real community spirit where you get to know each other and celebrate each others success. Everything is tracked so you can see you continued improvement. Coaches are brilliant and can tailor each workout to you if you have any problem areas or injuries.
I went to one of the handstand pushup masterclasses and learnt so much! If I hadn't moved to Australia I would have signed up as a full time member as their classes are so informative and everyone was super friendly and welcoming!

Started training with Rob back in June last year, I am completely new to crossfit/type of exercise. Had no knowledge of techniques for lifting Olympic weights, how to do a lot of exercises including rope climbs, rig work including progression on how to scale things. Before I started I mentioned to family and friends that I was starting it and they were all shocked as they all believe it was really intense and hard workouts, they all thought it was gruelling workouts. They couldn’t be further from the truth! There are ‘RX’ workouts which means you do as the workouts as prescribed but you can scale everything to fit your needs, from heavy deadlifts, to running and pull ups. Rob and the other coaches really focus on progression movements and give you support 100% of the way. The box is so warming and welcoming, when I started I couldn’t really do much at all, everyone was running rings round me, lifting weights double my weights and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, everyone helped me and pushed me along. If I went to a commercial gym I would not have any motivation to get anything done, but these workout really get me going, push myself further each session, everyone has set up their own goals that are individual to themselves. We are pushed each session which is good for me personally, I really enjoy training with Rob at the box as it is a tight knit community, we all do things together, such as the nuclear races event in Brentwood, some go on runs together on weekends, events in the summer and Christmas parties. 18 months ago I decided to switch gyms and venture into CFMY. Did I make the right decision? ABSOLUTELY YES I DID! Felt at ease straight away and very welcomed. Unbelievable place to train. The coaches are very knowledgeable and support you through every part of a session. I have been here two years now, normally I would quit the gym after 3 months through boredom. That shows what a great place CFMY is!
Warming and welcoming with great coaches. They will support your personal fitness goals in any way they can. Plus they offer a foundation course if you’re not sure and to see what it’s all about, I bet you get hooked. I like it much better then the gym. Conditioning, weight training, skill sets with handstands, skipping, box jumps, rope climbing, rings at your level.
