First impressions of the company and customer service is 5 star! The LZR Pro is pleasantly more powerful and more beautiful than I thought. This bike makes me feel like I have super powers but still putting in plenty of cardio! Very happy I found those guys before pulling straws with some weirdly named Chinese companies. The boxes arrived to the east coast in 6 days. Have not tested the 500w version yet as I’m waiting to swap the color after ordering the wrong one by mistake. Less

Fraudulent Misrepresentation with Intent to Defraud. DO NOT do business with Onyx Motorbikes. Read-on, you will save yourself time, effort, energy, stress, and money. I placed an order and paid-in-full $4,649 on August 1, 2023 for an Onyx RCR bike. Prior to placing the order, I asked about availability and delivery date. “Jeff” (who only communicates via text) stated in writing…here is his text, verbatim: “ETA is about 3-4 weeks currently most likely much sooner. Tax is automatically calculated at checkout depending on your billing/shipping info”. Well, that turned out to be a recklessly false statement, intentionally meant to induce me into making a purchase, which they knew they could not deliver on. One month later, I inquired about my bike delivery. “Jeff”, the same employee who stated "3-4 weeks", comes up with another dubious lie. The verbatim text: “on average builds right now can take 30 - 60 days. right now we're shipping out bikes to people that ordered early June. I'd estimate your bike will probably be ready sometime in Sept.” Well, September came and went...and so did October. On Friday, November 17, 2023, I was sent an actual email stating the following, verbatim: "Hey, it’s Jeff from ONYX Motorbikes. RCR shipments are going out in waves, with the current estimated shipping dates below: July / August orders - start shipping in late Dec. / early Jan.” Wait a minute...I ordered on Aug 1st, you told me 3-4 weeks, and now you are telling me that the 3-4 WEEKS has turned into 5-6 MONTHS. I told them to cancel my order, and a "manager" named Steve texted and told me that if I cancel, I have to pay a penalty fee of $2,500. Unacceptable. You cannot lie to a consumer, take their money, and expect to stay in business when you do not deliver as agreed upon. There is a legal premise called "False Promise" which negates the cancellation policy of ONYX Motorbikes. Why? 1) They intentionally made a promise which I reasonably relied upon to make the purchase. 2) Their promise was material to the sale. 3) They never intended to deliver the bike to me in 3-4 weeks. 4) They did not perform on their promise, which harms me, the consumer. So, if you are in the same position as me, which I suspect many folks are...I recommend the following. Dispute the transaction with your credit card company. In my case, they can fight with the attorneys at Goldman Sachs Bank. I am done with them. A company cannot generate operating revenue based on misrepresentation. Clearly, this scenario is their modus operandi, based on other Google Reviews I am now reading. Please, do not make the same mistake I made. There are plenty of honest companies out there. I suggest you purchase your bike from one of them. Less

I couldn't be happier with this badass bike. I've had it for some months now, have put a good amount of miles on it, and it keeps ripping. Every person I've let ride it starts smiling and laughing. Not only is the product good but the customer service is fantastic.The most kind, helpful, and professional customer service I've experienced in my life. Is disappointing, however, after 2500 miles, dealing with the failure of your throttle/power button and now the failure of your alarm which I rarely use. also, the failure of multiple soldering sites on the side panel. Customer service not only did not make me feel like an idiot for breaking and tell me my only recourse was a new battery, but helped me find the part on AMZN and how to do the simple fix. Once my build was finally completed and delivered, I was thrilled. The customer service is outstanding. I was able to change out the front fender with a quick text message confirmation well after my order was placed. They also allowed me to test ride the vehicles at the shop; which helped me realize the difference between the shorty and standard size. I highly recommend this for a city cruiser. I could not be more pleased..now it’s time to add storage and a speaker! Less

I absolutely love ONYX. Been following them since before they were a company, but a small team led by Tim. Myself along with other donaters helped them reach their crowd funding goal on IndiGoGo back in 2018. They had many setbacks but still within a year it was real and they were shipping their first generation of bikes to about 100-200 people. Their bikes are the real deal. They have their own frame factory and battery factory here in the U.S. The prototype or first version I received helped me get to work and back and did a great job for 2 years and 5,000 miles. I loved it so much and decided to buy their more refined version in 2021 (with their new bigger battery). I now have 9,000 miles on it!!! It was now time for a new battery which is the biggest and most important part of bike. I'm getting so much more range! Honestly could not be happier with my purchase of my onyx rcr. Hands down best bike out there. Also awesome customer service from the onyx team. Don’t buy a cheap bike where once you have problems or need replacement parts you can’t find it. With onyx every piece is replaceable and you will get compliments left and right when riding . I have an older model ONYX RCR and had a small piece break (rear brake switch). Couldn't find an exact replacement online to order so contacted Onyx over chat on their website. They contacted me via cell phone within the hour, I exchanged some pictures of the broken piece on my bike and they were able to locate one and didn't charge me for the switch. All resolved within a day. Excellent customer service that I really appreciate! As for the bike - well it's everything they claim. Fast, fun, stable and a blast to ride. Highly recommend the brand and it's great to have service there when you need it! Less

I owned a CTY2 for 1 year before it got stolen. I re-purchaed the same CTY2 because it's honestly just that great! I test drove multiple superior e-bike but the RCR and CTY2 takes the cake. Very high quality builds, you can't even notice the welds (good job to your welders!). The whole staff is always curious and helpful, great support from the team. The RCR is a bit too fast for me, the CTY2 is just the right speed for me, i am small person and it's loght enough to navigate and feels super sturdy on the streets. The Onyx RCR alone is amazing!! The company is great and their staff members are very helpful when I need to work on the bike. They’ve assisted me via message after I crashed my bike and have been trying to repair it. With their help, it’s up and running again and I use it for my daily commute to work. They update their parts, so when I need something replaced and something seems off, they help you troubleshoot the problem. The newer parts I received is slightly tweaked to make the bike better or adjust flaws that the bike may have. Just replacing a few parts makes the bike feel brand new again! Thanks ONYX!!! I’ve had my ONYX CTY2 for about five months now…It’s the best investment I’ve ever made amid these soaring gas prices. I’ve gone about 2000 miles all around Los Angeles with it and haven’t had any issues with cops or keeping up with traffic. People constantly compliment the bike and stare in awe as I soar away into the sunset. The couple small issues I’ve run into were quickly addressed by their support staff. Big shout out to Jeff! I am SO happy, excited, stoked, thrilled, elated, grateful, pleased, “D, all of the above” and then some, with my CTY2 ONYX Motorbike and the ONYX staff!! Every person I spoke with at this company was lovely. Jeff in particular went above and beyond to ensure my transaction happened, and was a smooth process in doing so. I had been scouring the internet for an ebike for some time prior to making this purchase … I do not have a car so I was looking for a new source of transportation as my Onewheel, which I also love, is rough on my hips using as often as I did. I eventually purchased a fairly cheap ebike from Amazon before cancelling and taking the plunge on the CTY2. My BF has the RCR version so I was aware of the company previously and had knowledge of their craftsmanship but cost was a serious factor. Between the ability to finance the bike, the overall quality, and the fact that it’s a “ma and pa” USA company, I concluded this was the best option for me. Almost a month later, no regrets. I've had my Onyx RCR for a Year and half now, and let me tell you that it has been a blast. I customize it to my taste and I love it. I have so many compliments whenever I ride this bike. This is one of my favorite investment I've made. I haven't drive my car for over 3 months now so no gas issues when gas is sky high. I will recommend go to on it motorbike and get yourself one. Just purchased an onyx 2 months ago would set delivery date not met With response San Francisco store closed That my bike was Now in Segundo that two more weeks and would be shipped for free to find out its in a warehouse in Vegas that 2 more weeks were needed a total of one month past there set date with an almost careless response from there staff very unhappy with there perfesionalism considering $4000+ dollars 2 months in advance with them acting like it's there delivery services fault inviting me to shop in Segundo 9+ hours from here one way and if I chose to opt out I would only get back half I would shop around before considering onyx do to there management and staff because but other than that product isn't worth the Hassel Less

I love the Onyx Crew. Stopped by one day for a group ride and 3 of their crew members ( James Khatiblou (the CEO), Ken and Dusten(two amazing mechanics) jumped on my bike without me saying anything and they started tweaking my bike to perfection. I rode all the way from Baldwin Hills to their headquarters in Thousand oaks on their flagship Onyx RCR (42 miles+ inclines). Since my battery was at around half they just let me borrow another battery to continue my riding while they charged my battery for the ride back home. Big thanks to Kincaid for helping me load my bike when I bought it and for letting me rock his crazily amazing helmet. Another big thanks to the man who created this product Tim , thank you for organizing all the events and always asking for us to ride longer! What a great experience! Today was the day I've been waiting for for since I pulled the trigger and decided to splurge, I am so glad I did! I just picked up my bike and couldn't be happier. Got a full walkthrough and then took it for a test drive. I needed a hand lifting it onto my rack since I didn't have a ramp which they were more than willing to help with, strapped it down and drove away with a BIG smile on my face! I had planned to ask for a full tour of the facility but admittedly, once they opened the doors and I laid eyes on my bike, I got full on tunnel vision and all I could think about was hopping on and twisting that throttle! Everyone in the shop was super friendly and took the time to introduce themselves even though they were hard at work trying to pump out more of these awesome little machines! They answered all my questions and really made the whole experience a professional yet personal one. I took my bike to this new location to get my turn signals installed and it was great. Not only did they install my turn signals, they also fixed a few other things: the wood cover fix, the wiring on the rear turn signals was managed very well, the hand brake tip covers, the added strap to secure the main power cable.
