The breaded steak we ordered had the pale breading separating from the meat. Additionally, the AC broke; so, it was hot to the point we started sweating. When we complained about the heat, the manager brought out a fan. Then, I look up at the ceiling and to my amazement I see mold growing on the ceilings AT A RESTAURANT, which is a major health issue! As a longtime customer of Las Vegas, my recent experience at the Doral location was less than pleasurable. I ordered takeout, and after thoroughly checking my food before leaving (I have had bad experiences before), I had to have them take a plate back because there was a very small portion of meat. As a longtime customer of Las Vegas, my recent experience at the Doral location was less than pleasurable. I ordered takeout, and after thoroughly checking my food before leaving (I have had bad experiences before), I had to have them take a plate back because there was a very small portion of meat. I Have eaten here many times before, and ordered the same dish, so I know how much usually comes in their proportions. The front desk staff was not attentive to my needs, and seemed annoyed at me checking my food, and shocked at my request for a proper portion of meat. Along with this, they did not include any complementary bread. I made an order for six people and was given bread for two (I had to specifically ask for bread). When I brought this up to the front desk person who was helping me, they seemed perplexed that I was upset with receiving not enough bread for my entire order of six meals. Its also important to note that this was a Saturday evening 5:35pm on a mother’s day weekend and this place was EMPTY. I’m not shocked that it was empty given their poor service and declining standards. I will not ever be returning to this location. Less

The server TOLD us some of the sides would be different than what we ordered without asking if that was ok and THE FOOD TOOK HOURS TO COME OUT. My 8 year old grandson was complaining about how hungry he was. At one point the staff "rushed in" with more bread because they could tell the children had become very hungry, getting tired, we had been waiting hours already and we were getting ready to leave. When the main entrees finally came out only one of our party ate their food and the rest of us barely touched ours. One of us tried to order the Cuban sandwich off the menu and was told they were not serving any that night. No Cuban sandwiches at a Cuban restaurant??? I love plantains and the ones that came with dinner weren't good either. Total was $274 for 8 people ($34 a person included an 8 and 4 years old). The server asked if we didn't like the food after noticing most of the plates were full when she brought the bill and we answered yes. Another interesting aspect was the server bringing a computerized pad to go over the bill while standing over me and watching as I selected the lowest electronic tip. The service was amazing. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and very flavorful. So very unique flavors. The atmosphere was spectacular. For my first time, it exceeded my initial expectations. I will be back soon to try the skirt steak. My husband had that.
A group of 16 went for lunch and we will not be returning. The waitress was fine, but the kitchen is not working as before, they took over an hour to bring us the food, the food was not as it used to be, my porch chunks were cold, the replacement was hot but the meat was very dry. We have come here many times before and had never had such bad experience before.

The place says they close at 10pm, but they didn’t take me (table for one), because according to gentleman who spoke with me, they had a busy day. He admit they close at 10, but they were too busy and had to clean the place. I walked in at 9:15. All I wanted was a quick bite and head out.

This is hearty Cuban classic dish that is packed with flavor. The fork-tender delicious meat just felt off the bone. It was served with white rice, black beans and of course, sweet plantains. Wow, Wow , Wow! I loved it!!!!! Wait there is more! For dessert, I had plans to order my beloved, can't go wrong, typical Cuban dessert; Flan (Custard). But the manager, who had been walking around asking patrons how was the food, recommended Buñuelos With Anise Syrup. I remember my mother making these at home in Cuba when I was a kid. Bingo, another winner! The Buñuelos were nice and warm, the anise syrup was just perfect! While eating something as delicious as these Buñuelos (or any good dessert for that matter) I close my eyes to heighten the taste so that I can truly savor every bite! I’m not one to write a bad review, however my party of 2 was sat down, and then were not even acknowledged by the waiter. We waited over 20 minutes and there were only a few other tables with customers at 9:30 pm so it wasn’t busy. For the first time I had to walk out of a restaurant. Completely unacceptable. I’ve noticed other people have made similar comments about having to walk out as well.
This restaurant has a great selection of Cuban dishes. Las visit I started with plstain chips and their home made mojo sauce followed by their daily specials, Lobster and shrimp creole. It's very tasty. Good food, good price, and friendly service.

I parked in the back of this restaurant with two other college students cars, mind you there those spots are all the way in the back (about 15 never used spots 50ft behind the restaurant) nobody parked there ever because there was no need for it. If i had any other option, trust me i wouldve. They had a tow truck waiting for me to get out of my car to go to class and he towed my car immediately after and 4 others (including a customer inside) which caused me to miss my midterm for my other class in Kendall and just to have some creepy guy begging for me to get in the car with him several times so he can drive me (I declined more then 5 times and he would just stay there or drive around again trying to do the nice guy lure act) and I had to sit there stranded crying at 17 not knowing what to do just so this restaurant can make about $50 off each car they towed, they ruined and caused so much stress in my life because of that and it's absolutely disgusting that any restaurant/anybody would tow hard-working college students cars away especially when it wasn't even anywhere near their customer parking nor taking up any space. It was absolutely despicable and then they lied to my face saying they had no control but they were the ones that picked and chose which car should have got towed and which one shouldn't. Never in my life would I do that to a student but in fact I would help or have no problem especially since those spots were NEVERRRRR used. Im still disgusted to this day. I was barely getting by (financially or mentally) and that right there broke so much progress and hard work that I dropped my classes because it just became to much. Less

I ordered the Vaca frita for lunch and it was more Vaca. The meat looked like it was barely fried. Not the usual Vaca frita I'm used to. The portion of meat was pretty small too. I'll have to think about coming back here again if I do I really hope it gets better

This is the best Cuban place I've been to in the Doral area. Maybe in all of Miami. It was clean. The service was courteous and fast. And the food was amazing. Best white rice in town! lol. Right up there with the Black Beans at Versailles.
We were staying next door at the Hampton Inn and it was a easy walk to here. The service was excellent and my wife loved shredded pork with fried plantains and the black beans and rice. I foolishly ordered the steak sandwich with fries- what was I thinking? The steak was thin and touch as shoe leather. I think I'll try some other places before I go back
