We had the pleasure of doing a charter with Captain Kevin for a 3 hour kids fishing trip. This experience was a surprise for my son. He loves fishing and his birthday is next week so we wanted to do something special while we were here. The weather had been showing rain all week, but we were able to make the trip happen! I reached out to Captain Scott the night before to touch base and he was very responsive and we made plan for morning. Scott was also very responsive when I initially reached out with questions about the trip.My son had an amazing time and Kevin was nothing short of amazing. He made us feel like we were old friends and was focused on getting the rods set and in the water for my son. When we were in a spot with not much action he moved us to another spot to maximize our time. Kevin was very knowledgeable and made this experience the highlight of our trip! To top it off we took his catches to a local restaurant to cook! We made core memories for sure!

We had an outstanding experience with Fishing Clearwater Inshore, and a big reason for that was Captain Jake. Our group included myself, my father, and my two kids, ages 8 and 11, and Jake was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He immediately made everyone feel comfortable and welcome, especially the kids. Rather than focusing on just putting fish in the boat, he focused on making sure my children had an unforgettable experience. He was patient, encouraging, and genuinely seemed to enjoy teaching them about fishing. Whether it was helping bait hooks, untangling lines, answering endless questions, or celebrating every catch like it was a trophy fish, Jake made the day special. It's obvious he enjoys what he does and takes pride in creating great memories for families.Jake put us on fish throughout the trip and took us to spots where he knew we'd have action. While we didn't catch the snook we were targeting, we still landed spotted trout, catfish, perch, silver ladyfish, grouper, and several other species. The kids stayed engaged the entire trip because the fishing was steady and Jake kept things fun and positive. Beyond fishing, he pointed out waterfront homes, local landmarks, and interesting sights around the area, adding a personal touch that you don't always get on a charter. We were also treated to multiple dolphin sightings, which was a highlight for everyone. The boat was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of room to move around. By the end of the trip, it felt less like we had hired a fishing guide and more like we had spent the day on the water with a knowledgeable friend who genuinely wanted us to have a great time. Awesome experience! Capt Jake Bair was fantastic! Helped my son land a 100 pound tarpon! My nephew also caught a large snook. Very active morning of fishing! Scott Flesch, the owner, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with when booking. Would definitely hire again - fun times!

I have used Clearwater inshore fishing twice in the last three years and both times we had great guides and stellar trips. Had a great experience with Captain Kevin today. He helped us with near shore finds as well as bay fishing in his favorite spots. We were able to catch over 10 different species within a few stops. Kevin was extremely attentive to our needs and made for a perfect charter day. Came home with plenty to cook at home too! Highly recommend this boat and captain. 10/10 experience!

Great experience! From booking ease with Captain Scott to getting recommended places to take our fish where they would prepare them for us! We were the only ones on the boat, equipment was great, and Captain Logan was friendly and knowledgeable. While it was “inshore”, we were given the option to go out because fishing had been better out there recently. Enjoyed catching several different fish, and the best part was the level of assistance that was given (from baiting to removal, technique, and even cleaning)! We really enjoyed our time (for those who love to fish and those who do not). If you’re looking for that hometown-boy-(expert Captain)-next-door fishing experience, this one is for you. Nothing about this felt touristy, cheesy, or anyone trying to add-on or upsell you.

We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Jake! Even with the windy conditions, he knew exactly where to go to keep us comfortable and put us right on the fish. He kept our lines baited, shared great tips, and made sure we were always in the action. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. Had an awesome time on the kids trip. Took 3 kids ages 9,9,5 and they had an absolute blast. Caught several different species, saw some dolphins, it was great. We will be using them again next time we are in town. A+++++++++ highly recommend!

Capt. Scott set up a great trip for us. Capt. Jake took us out and we had an incredible time catching some great redfish. The trip was so good we added two hours to the excursion. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
