Very aggressive pushy tactics to yield no results. My score was in the mid 600s and I was told to just pay down my credit cards which I was doing anyway. Then when I tried to cancel, you can’t reach anyone and they keep trying to charge my card. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!

Let me start by saying I really had high hopes for them. Being black and local were selling points for me. In fact, for that reason I stuck around passed my original stopping point, and proactively reached out many of times talking with both partners. I gave the benefit of the doubt at my expense literally continuously paying the fee, and hoping to see results. After several months, several proactive follow ups, and a few requests to cancel I ended up just blocking my method of payment. My first red flag was after the initial payment I needed to subscribe and pay additional for a specific credit monitoring service. My Experian paid subscription was not sufficient enough, so their monthly fee wasn’t just their fee but also a required subscription which is no more than a partnership they have with Smart Credit to bring on new business for that provider as well. Then once subscribed you are told that having this will provide a firsthand look at your progress and updates . Needless to say for the few months I didn’t have any updates. Not even actions taken by Credit Brothers. When I signed up communication was great, then went unresponsive, then there was a mass email that said they are taken on so many new clients that’s it’s impossible provide real-time updates, and only once I began requesting to cancel my subscription did communication improve specifically around reassuring me just to keep me and then no further updates. Then let’s talk about letters sent on my behalf. The letters they send out were all reject by credit bureaus, not due to protocol or practice, but because quality of dispute made it questionable to where the bureaus wrote me directly asking if it was fraud. While I hate that this didn’t work out, I really wanted it to, and I am in the process of exploring next steps to get my money back. They did absolutely nothing for me beside convincing me they were legit.

I have credit Bros for about 3 months and haven’t seen any changes in my credit score. I haven’t heard from anyone since a text came through a while back. I just canceled my membership but I hope it works for everyone else!

I really wish my experience could have been better. I was so excited to start with Credit Bros I told all my family and friends the same week I enrolled. I enrolled in April canceled in August, the plan I picked $50 a month plus $24 a month for the credit monitoring. Sometime in May I received a letter from a consumer report agency they have updated my birthday to my husband’s. I sent CBs a text and was ensured they will resolve the birthday issue. To this day the consumer report agency has not sent me an updated letter to confirm the fix. June 15th I received an email stating my first round of disputes had been entered. Then I received another email June 22nd that disputes have been sent. From June15th until Sept 9th I didn’t receive not one letter from the credit bureaus or even the creditors. 45-60 days was the time they asked to allow the creditors to reply. There was no movement on my credit file from either of the bureaus. I reached out and said I didn’t receive any communications. The reasoning I received was that they don’t have to reply.. I’m like OK! Can you send me the certified tracking numbers of the items that were disputed. No reply.. At this point I’m feeling like they haven’t done anything with my file but mess up my birthday. I’m also thinking well if they sent the disputes in with the wrong birthday that would make sense as to why I’m not receiving any responses... They didn’t care, just ignored me.... I didn’t get any reassurance that they will look into the birthday issue and cross reference the dispute letters that went out. Aug I looked at my Expedia file and guess what my birthday is wrong here too, although by this time I had canceled I was still within my billing cycle of my last payment. I sent a text screenshot and asked can my birthday be fixed for the third time. No reply.... A week letter I received a text from a gentleman asking me for my password for the credit monitoring I explained to him I canceled service but if he could make sure my birthday was corrected.. I believe it was a week after that I received a text from someone at CBs I didn’t even reply. I was too outdone how my entire experience went.... Fast forward Sept 9th I’m enrolled in LexingtonLaw, this was a total different experience. You can pick and choose the items you want to dispute, you can choose 3 items to make higher priority over others. They send a email explaining the plan for the following month, they create letters, that you have to print yourself if you want to dispute inquiries. They submitted disputes 3 days after I enrolled and I hadn’t paid them a red cent!!! The most important thing was I started to receive letters from the creditors within this last week, 4 items have been removed... I honestly believe this was not due to CBs remember they did only one round of disputes in June we are now at the end of September. I think with credit repair services trust, communication, and results are very important. CB honestly had me feeling like the only thing they cared about was their payment. This is my experience from my point of view. It’s great to see others have had a positive experience with them, I honestly wish mine could have been the same.
