I seriously recommend Dustin and his team. They can help you whether you just need a quick adjustment once a month or if you’re like me and require a more intensive short or long term treatment plan. They also offer payment plans if needed so as not to overwhelm the patient which is extremely appreciated as money can sometimes be the biggest factor in even getting ourselves in the door. As I grew older and the age related problems started appearing, I became very disappointed that in 2020, my Primary Care physician, upon viewing my spinal xrays that showed degenerative issues, could only recommend a “pain management” referral. I immediately felt sorry for all the people with spinal issues that only get offered pain management, a life of pills, because they don’t have a Dr. that believes in integrated medicine. I have used chiropractic off and on for years. After some really bad reactions to medications, I knew that I was going to take a different path to wellness... not pills on top of pills. Part of my new approach to my health and wellness is chiropractic care and acupuncture...lots of it. Getting my spine working, moving properly removes the nerve irritation and improves my quality of life. Without it, I have no doubt I would be in a wheelchair on pain meds. I love this office! I'm so happy I found an acupuncturist of this caliber in Oklahoma City. At Balanced Wellness, the environment is beautiful and most importantly very clean. And Allison, Tanner and Dr. Schmidt are courteous and professional beyond words. Words can't even describe how pleased my husband and I are with Dr. Schmidt! I'm a former flight nurse and wore a flight helmet with night vision goggles on a regular basis and was in excruciating neck and back pain on a daily basis. I was very nervous about going to a chiropractor, and Dr. Schmidt picked up on my anxiety right away. He put my mind at ease and has turned me into a believer! I only have to go every two weeks now, but I look forward to my visits with him, as does my husband (who is being treated for lower back pain and was being treated for spinal decompression). Dr. Schmidt is literally second to none! When I was at a very stressful point in my life, he convinced me to try acupuncture for stress relief. I thought he was crazy, but I decided to give it a try. Holy cow, does it work!!! I also receive these treatments every two weeks, and I can always tell when I'm due for a treatment. Dr. Schmidt and his staff are the friendliest you'll meet anywhere and they all have the best sense of humor! They're all very good at putting patients at ease. Dr. Schmidt has treated me for almost 4 weeks non-stop to get my lower back functioning properly.
