When I had photos done originally, I guess my hips were crooked and my arms weren’t straight when photos were taken. Measurements were taken off of that which ended up placing my nipples (especially one of them) so high that it wouldn’t be covered by any bra. I had a “correction” done which did lower them somewhat but to this day, I am embarrassed to be naked in front of my husband and one of them still pokes out of most bras. I’m very limited to the type of swim suit I can wear because my nipples show. The correction was extremely painful and I don’t have anything good to say about it. It was actually quite traumatic. I love the size and shape for sure but I’m sad that the nipple placement can’t be corrected because I can’t go through that again. Numbing didn’t work. I Would still recommend Dr Baumholtz because 1. I don’t think what happened to me is the norm and 2. they are all very attentive and friendly but my outcome (nipple placement) has somewhat taken over any self confidence I would have gained from the reduction. I really hoped they would lower with time. The day of my surgery was really good. Dr. Baumholtz was good at helping calm the nerves. I would say to anyone getting a reduction that if you see something that you question (because I did and didn’t say anything), just say something. You have to live with the results forever. Less

Dr. Baumholtz is awesome! I had consultations prior to my surgery but he definitely made me feel the most comfortable and gave me different options of what I could do in my case. When I saw Dr. Baumholtz, he told me that I had a capsular contracture (nothing threatening), but given my medical history and older age he required me to have clearance from my primary care physician along with a few other tests.
