It's kept clean, organized, and everything is sectioned out to make a session flow seamlessly. Chris is a great guy, always able to help when you need it, always lends an ear if you have a problem. I loved this gym while living in Fort Collins! It is hard to find a gym that I feel comfortable in al the time but Prodigy was that gym for me. The staff is always super nice and welcoming and all of the members also made it a really good gym environment!

Great gym environment, Jansen at the front desk was great help. Would highly recommend to friends but was a little too hardcore for me. I don’t get the point with all of the flags though.

He said he would cancel the membership and to please come back if I returned to Fort Collins. I thought this meant that I was good to go until I got a call from an attorney seven or eight months later. I don't mind paying for services I am using and agreed to, but I am confused and disappointed by the process of this gym and the membership cancellation. They never returned my email so I have no proof or documentation outside of a conversation with the front desk worker at the time, and I haven't been able to use services as I am not living close and they took my scan pass when I thought they cancelled the membership. Further, I receive no communication from them at any point before hearing from their attorney and didnt even realize they were still waiting on payment. The owner, Chris, keeps calling this gym a family, but that is not how you treat family. As someone who focuses on powerlifting, I have all the metal plates, barbells and space I need to workout freely and never have to wait. Prodigy Gym is an expanding, ambitious, and informative in all avenues of fitness. Between the faculty, the equipment and the cost one would be very hard pressed to find a better option then Prodigy Gym.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms. This is the most well-equipped gym I have ever been to. No frills, never insanely busy like commercial gyms can get, and plenty of space with the recent expansion to spread out. And it’s not an arm and a leg in price. Also the gym dog, Rogue, is the cutest!!

This is the only gym I’ve been to that doesn’t have these random guys just wandering around staring at women. Everyone is at prodigy to work, to meet their goals, whatever those goals may be. (The owner Chris and the other personal trainers are so encouraging and helpful with clients too.) So, now 6 months later, I can say that I’m no longer looking to do “a little better”. This was a nice gym. They have plenty of equipment. It's not the newest but it works and that's all that matters. They're taking many precautions to help prevent the spread of germs and viruses. They take care of csu students with special promotions when the rec is closed and they're overall very inviting and friendly.

I stopped in to check out this Gym and when I entered through the Doors it felt as if I stepped back into a Time that was Amazing. It felt like I was home. The character, atmosphere, and clientele of this gym facilitate quality training, especially strengthening. I am an endurance athlete that was unable to use caffeine for a long time; all I had to do is show up, and I was able to train/exercise with intensity and purpose. Been a member for about a year. Parking in evening is an adventure, but as far as a gym goes, this is the best place in Fort Collins for people planning to workout. Equipment is clean and you rarely see an 'out of order' sign on anything. Finally, you will never see a more helpful owner, always willing to work with you to motivate you to those goals.

Iron Prodigy Gym is guaranteed the best gym in Fort Collins! Great machines and great people. Can be a little hardcore and intimidating at first but once you get past that it's great! Only issue I've had from my time working out there is that they don't have Spotify premium and a few ads play from time to time which can delay the start of a set (I don't wear headphones when I workout).

I have been going to the gym for several years and you can't beat the environment. The number of plates loaded machines make it a gym rats playground. Prodigy was the first real gym experience I had, and I will never be going back to a health club environment. There are plenty of super knowledgeable people who are serious about what they are doing and willing to help out. The machine selection is very robust, and it is the only place to go if you are serious about body building.

A decent, chill place to get a workout in. Friendly, personable, and approachable staff that’s willing to help at a moments notice. Definitely a wide selection of machines. I wish the free weight section was a little more robust, but still plenty there to get your business taken care of! The owner seems to be very passionate about taken care of his staff and customers.

Of all the gyms that I have been to, Iron Prodigy is easily the best. The staff are very friendly and are always happy to give advice. They do a great job at keeping the place clean and orderly, even during the busiest hours. The coaches were attentive. The work out was fun, but challenging and the childcare is great!

Great equipment and great environment. Machines are regularly repaired and serviced. Members are there to get work done, instead of taking up space playing Candy Crush. Staff like Ryan are attentive and responsive to members. Temperature is usually right where it should be, no getting cold between sets on non-circuit days.

I was surprised to find this gem of a gym in Fort Collins. It has a bunch of equipment and a bunch of good people. You'll find top of the line Hammertstrength machines down to an exercise ball. And whenever I've asked a gym member how long they have to go with a piece of equipment, they've let me work in with them or let me know it would only be a couple of minutes until they were done.

Whenever I had any questions about the proper technique on a piece of equipment, the staff has always been more than willing to show me how to properly use it as well as safe form to avoid injury. I have a few complaints: 1. there is way too much equipment for the space and people are often in the way of the track making it difficult to do sled work. 2. The free weight area is quite small with very limited benches 3. There are only 1 or 2 spray bottles located at the front with a few towels for cleaning your equipment. Even though the towels have disinfectant on them, they stay damp and become a breeding ground for bacteria. A better option would be single use paper towels with a spray bottle or wipes placed in every room. I don't see many people wiping down their equipment and I wonder if this may be the reason, I am reluctant myself for fear of spreading bacteria from the damp towel. 4. The cable equipment is very outdated and you cannot adjust the heights. Overall this is great place with a no bull attitude. Heck, even my favorite gym had equipment breaking down all the time. Less

This gym is perfect. The location is alright, I'm lucky for living so close. The equipment is top notch, the people create a very friendly competitive environment. Everyone is blessed to have non stop support from the owner himself.

It is not your typical establishment filled with nothing excpet cardio equipment and average multi-gyms/ a few free weights; rather it is a gym CLEARLY designed by a man who has dedicated his life to health and fitness. This gym has every piece of Hammer Strength equipment ever made, so logically laid out so that a muscle group can easily be worked out in a particular area of the gym. Before joining Prodigy Gym and Fitness, I trained with two IFBB bodybuilders/personal trainers for two years and I consider myself pretty knowledgable about weight lifting (I'm no pro!); however, this gym has equipment in it that I had never seen before joining Prodigy Gym and Fitness. AND, despite the fact that I have a very complete home gym, I travel to Prodigy multiple times a week to workout. This is a welcoming environment for ALL levels of fitness and it has a very experienced staff and group of bodybuilders who work out there that are friendly, fun, and helpful. The building is certainly older and there are college students around at some times of the day; however, what you trade for that is the BEST equipment and experience available anywhere in Northern Colorado outside of Denver. It is a no-brainer. If you like to workout, like to sculpt your body, and appreciate a business owner that did SO much more than follow a generic gym cookie cutter model, join Prodigy Gym and Fitness. I have Ben coming to prodigy gym and fitness for a very long time and I love this place. It feels like home. People are very nice and respectful, never feel uncomfortable. I visited the gym once while in town for a quick business trip. They gave me a great drop in rate. I had it recommended to me and I was not disappointed. I've since been following them on social media and they do a great job putting out content. Very friendly and educated staff. Will make sure to always swing through when in town. I highly recommend checking it out.

The discipline of iron.

This is like no other gym I've been in. They have such unique pieces of equipment that you won't find anywhere and everyone are nice and helpful and very knowledgeable.

I'm pretty new to the workout scene and thought I'd be a fish out of water at Iron Prodigy, but the owner, staff and trainers have been awesome. In a very short time I feel like I've found a "home" here. Good mix of both experienced body builders to novices. And every piece of equipment you could imagine. This place rocks!

Been a member going on 2 years. I love this gym. This is not a chain gym, if that's what you're looking for. This is a good mix of hard core competitors and done to earth people looking to get in shape. Friendly people and even the hard core competitors are down to earth. Equipment is most effective around and not like anything else you will find.

I've both exercised and worked here, and it's probably one of the best gyms in terms of equipment. The owner has invested in both general and specialized equipment and has machines that no other gym in Fort Collins has. The owner is a seriously knowledgeable trainer, and I've never had a bad interaction with him.

This is an excellent place to train. The owner, Chris Havekost, is a great guy and Fort Collins native. He knows a thing or two about fitness and what it takes to create a phenomenal gym. I have always been able to get a great workout in using the numerous machines and free weights. Easily one of the best gyms in Fort Collins

AWFUL. Never had worse customer service, owner is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Machines always break and there are many more things I could say but I will stop here. All I can tell you is to NOT go here and waste your money.

Being a small business owner myself I completely understand that customers can frustrate you especially if they misuse something even on accident, but you don't throw heavy equipment in a fit of rage. Serious gym for the ones who really mean business. Very well equipped. Great people, owner, employees and amazing personal trainers. Seems intimidating at first, but everyone is warm and welcoming and always willing to help, from correcting form to providing diet tips and motivation support. My experience with Jim Howard especially has been outstanding, I am really glad I found him.
