Septic System was installed 3/18 $5037 Started failing on 11/20 stated 1 year warranty wanted a $100 to come out and take a look then called back and said make $300 so we can pump it out. you have got to be kidding me ( How about turning the Pump off like the other Co. Did) I would not recommend this company .

BVD Septic was here promptly. They were professional and friendly. They spent a lot of time making sure the problem was fixed. They cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. I would definitely recommend them.
Tech was very friendly and professional
Tech was on time, very professional and wore his mask, friendly and very knowledgeable, would recommend this company.
Great service technician was very professional.
The guy was really nice and professional.
The tech guy came explain everything that was going on with the system and stated that it was a plumbing issue. But he made me comfortable that it the problem would be handled
Great company highly recommend

The service crew connected up new pumps incorrectly and blew out a check valve and burned out a pump. It became obvious they had absoultely no knowledge of this system. I called the office and they said they would send the crew with experince out the next day. The knew crew appeared to know what they were doing, so I thought. After they completed the work, the next few days the pumps ran contiounously which they are not suppose to do. They had charged me $ 750.00 and nothing worked. I called another State certified contractor who came out and corrected their failed repairs that were plumbed wrong. The office promised to refund my monies which they never did. I have text messages and videos of them admitting they had no clue what they were doing. I could never recommend this company to anyone. Absoultely the worst!!!! I would run far and fast and keep calling others! Less
The worst septic company in the area to do business with. They installed my septic and drain field and I've had nothing but problems since. If I could give this place a negative 5 I would. They installed our septic tank on our brand new house in 2016. They told us that my septic tank motor had blown and quoted us $750 to repair it. I asked them to leave the motor there when they were done and they did not. A month later they called to tell me that now my aerator had to be replaced for another $750. I got a second opinion and low and behold there was just a string wrapped around the aerator. The contractor removed the string and I have had no issues since. We are under contract with them at the moment but we will be filing a complaint with the city, reporting them to the BBB as well as taking them to small claims court. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHITHOLE (all pun inteded) company. Less

My husband and I hired BVD septic the day before Thanksgiving 2017. We were told they were certified to work on our septic system. They came out and told us that one of our pumps was incorrect and the other was almost burnt out. We paid to have both pumps replaced and signed a maintenance contract with them. We were also told that some of our receptacles were bad and they needed to rewire the pumps. They were supposed to come out twice a year and inspect our system to make sure that it was running properly. They were not able to complete the job and it took us a couple of months to get them to complete it. Sept 15, our septic tank began backing up again. We called them and were told that they would send someone out but it would be emergency call billing. The sent a plumber from a company that they have acquired. We were told one of the pumps that we replaced in November 2017 was burnt out. It was replaced and the floats weren't engaging. We would have to manually turn the pumps on and off and a technician would be out Monday. Monday no one showed. We were told the tech was sick and would be here Tuesday. No one showed and no one answered. On Wednesday we called again and were assured someone would be out Thursday. A tech showed Thursday and was here for less than an hour. We were not told when the job was completed or what was wrong. When we called them to find out what was going on, we were told it was fixed. This morning our system began backing up again. When we called we were told that no one could come out today and they could come tomorrow. After demanding to speak to the owner, my husband was told that our control box was bad (first we have ever heard of this) and they were trying to fix it without replacing it... Again.. first we have ever told of this. We have paid them a monthly fee for a maintenance agreement that they never fulfilled and after some research today found that they are not even certified to work on the earthtek system that we have. They have lied from day 1 and this has been a never ending battle of no show appointments and not completed work! Less
They did a great job repairing my septic system. Jennifer in the office was very helpful and patient with me as she walked me through a few troubleshooting steps. When all else failed she had field guys here within the hour. Mark and D, the two field guys, were very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable and had everything running smoothly within a few hours. Thank you BVD Septic!!!
These guys just replaced my neighbors drain field. In the process the dumped dirt in my front yard without permission. I asked them to remove it and was assured they would leave it like they found it. Later that day they had removed most of it. When they returned a few days later they actually had a dump truck, dump a full load back into my front yard in the exact same spot. When asked why they dumped it there I was told they had no other place to dump it which isn't true considering next to my house is an empty lot and an vacant home on the other side of me. I explained to them that where they are putting this dirt is going to cause drainage issues and They told me they will move it. When they left that day they had removed about 85%, the problem is what they left behind in my yard and on the street now blocks my yard and the street from draining properly and causes water to stand in my yard. I contacted the company and the lady that answered apologized and said they would fix it immediately, she told me to text her the address and a few pictures. After a few days of nothing I called again and got no answer, but the owner called me back and told me what he seen in the pictures didn't look that bad but he would send something out to fix it. That was 3 weeks ago and nothing has been done. After looking into this company they have multiple complaints against them with the BBB and the fact that the owner gave me his word he would fix my yard and hasn't should give you enough reason to not hire them. They even seeded and hayed the ground and mound when they were done and cleaned the loose soil off my driveway. I'll definitely be using them for my septic needs in the future. Less

I Had a complete septic system replacement by BVD septic. Quote was for concrete tanks and risers to bring access covers to grass level, - crew showed up with plastic tanks and not enough risers to accomplish task. During the Quoting process, Chris claimed he is a Master septic tank installer and can accomplish his own inspections during the work process but he never showed up to see how things were progressing on the job. If any Inspections were done they must have been done by the crew. This is where it begins. The concrete tanks are buried about 2 feet below ground. Risers installed on top of the tanks where sealed by me after the lead guy on the crew stated "we don't normally seal those " Pipes go into or out of these tanks to direct sewage from the house to your drain field, these areas must be sealed to prevent ground water from entering the tanks. "not done" . This allowed rain water to flood my tanks and create what is called a blowout of my new oversized drain field. The crew was going to set the pump on the tank bottom and the wires through the lid until I said it was not proper to do so. Under a 1 year Warr. I called Chris to notify him of my blowouts (7 total) and my suspicions of ground water flooding my tanks. He states on the Phone - He's not surprised with all the rain we had. He sends out a crew at 9am on Sat. who shows up with no sand to fix blowout holes, They dig up the pipes around the tanks, 3 out of 4 allow ground water to leak into the tanks. I asked Dusty how he will seal them and he states "with this tar seal on his truck" (rope like, it is useless if dirty, won't stick) . I asked if there was a better way, He stated Hydraulic Cement. I asked, if I brought it would he seal the pipes with it and he said yes. He states he has to go to a install job and will be back about 2pm - No show no Call. I called Chris on Monday only to have him say I know the story " He was told that I would fix the piping leaks. I informed that this was not the plan. Chris said that with all the rain from the Nor’easter his crew could not return till it dried up and I was to call him at that time. I went ahead and sealed these pipes during that week (want it done right/Do it yourself) Fri. his crew shows up unannounced or requested and starts digging up my pipes again - Thank God I was not at work and was able to stop them from messing up what I had done. I instructed them to fix the blowout holes. I asked Dusty how Chris got the idea that I was to fix the pipe leaks and he told me he did not know and he had told him that I was supplying the cement. Had I not been around during the Crews Work I would not have had knowledge of what I suspected was Questionable standards. Due to the Lack of appropriate Inspections and quality workmanship I was unable to flush a toilet for a week, during the aftermath of hurricane Irma and several weeks later, another week after a nor’easter storm. Would not Recomend If this is their normal standards Tanks should be Water tight from outside sources. Less
