We travel to Kauai annually. Over the years we have rented cars from several local rental outlets, private parties and the airport rental agencies. We found Carolyn at Cheap Car Rentals Kauai a few years ago and have rented from her ever since. She provides great customer service, and her cars are well maintained and reliable. We have rented from Carolyn for the last 3 times we've been in Kauai, cars are always very clean and dependable. Once there was a problem with the car, and she substitued another car right away and returned the original car after it was repaired. Always kind and gracious and accommodating!

We had a great personalized experience with Carol. The pick up & drop off process took minutes. After a previous trip to Kauai & renting from a big name car rental company and subsequently waiting several hours to receive our car, we knew we did not want to go that route again. It wasn't a brand new car like a big name rental company, but it ran great, was more than half off the price of other companies, & was super convenient pick up & drop off. Would absolutely rent from Cheap Car Rentals Kauai again.

Probably the easiest and hassle free car rental experience I ever had. No hassle with waiting in lines. All done by phone and email. Pick up and drop off were super easy and were done at our hotel. Our car was clean and in great condition. Everything worked. Carolyn also provided us with beach gear and water cooler. We plan to use her service the next time we visit Kauai! Did I mentioned that she even offered driving us to the airport? Mahalo Carolyn.

I have rented vehicles from Carolyn a couple of times, and I have not had any problems at all. The cars, while not new, are in very good running condition. She has helpful information regarding what to see on the island. I plan to continue to rent cars from Carolyn whenever I come back to Kauai.

I am a local and needed to rent a car for an extended amount of time. A friend referred me to Carolyn. Price was cheaper than rental car companies without the hassle of waiting in long lines, etc. Easy pick up/drop off. Car was clean, cold a/c, and reliable. Carolyn was great to deal with. I managed a local rental car agency on Maui for 8 years so I am always looking to support local. Carolyn made it so convenient. It took us longer to get our bag, than it was to get our vehicle. Our Honda CRV was perfect for our needs. It ran great, nice cold AC, good suspension ect... just overall a well maintained vehicle. If youre going to Kauai check this place out. You won't regret it.

Carolyn is SO easy to work with! We had our car and were on our way long before my sister even got to the counter at the chain car rental place. We also saved a bunch of money over the Big-Name rates. The cars are not new, but then they don’t look like rental cars to prospective thieves either. We’ll be back next year and we’ll come back to Carolyn for our rental car needs!!

Finally people who really understand customer service. Having spent several years in the customer service business, I know how much going the extra mile can help a customer. Carolyn went above and beyond to take care of us when renting a car from her business . She was able to drop the vehicle and have it waiting for us at the airport when our flight arrived, and she even included some beach, chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, and cooler which was over the top. This was so helpful to our vacation and allowed us to take more advantage of our vacation than we had expected. She was very kind and thoughtful, and I would definitely rent from her again and highly recommend her business.
