Anthony was fantastic at helping me with my 2 year old golden retriever, he understood my dogs motivations and interests and developed an approach and training plan to align with what my dog needed (whereas other advice had been generic and hadn't worked). He gave me clear and actionable exercises to practice with my dog and mine and my dogs relationship and his recall has greatly improved. Anthony was very responsive to messages and happy to support between sessions. He also put together a report about potential pain my dog was in which is now leading onto an investigation with the vet to understand if some behavioural problems were actually pain related and Anthony has been very supportive and helpful throughout the process. We approached Anthony as we were having behavioural issues with our rescue dog, Bruno. We contacted many other dog trainers in our area but we went with Anthony because we felt he actually cared about getting to the bottom of Bruno’s issues. Without Anthony we would not have learnt what we have about Bruno and what he needs. We would not have known what to do to help him and we would be in a completely different situation. We started off with not being able to have visitors in our home, difficulties with Bruno socialising with other dogs and even some issues with Bruno being uncomfortable with me, his owner. We now have a relaxed dog at home. He is able to enjoy cuddles on the sofa with both his owners and relax. We are able to have guests in our home as Anthony has taught us how to signal to Bruno that the person coming into the home is safe. Bruno is also starting to enjoy interacting with other dogs again. We cannot recommend Anthony highly enough. He has so much knowledge that has honestly transformed our lives with Bruno. We contacted Anthony when our dog’s reactivity started to feel unmanageable for us. We’d been trying to follow advice from every YouTube/Instagram video about dog reactivity that we could find, but nothing seemed to work effectively. Anthony quickly noticed that our dog had a slight limp, and helped us to share all of the relevant information with our vet. Whilst waiting for the outcome of the vet’s investigations, Anthony gave us tools to manage the reactivity, which he explained was a result of frustration, as well as possible pain. As we started implementing the advice, we noticed an immediate change in our dog’s behaviour. It made such a difference to have somebody observe our dog’s behaviour and give us advice based on his specific needs. We quickly felt more in control on walks, which meant that we were all enjoying them more. The vet diagnosed our dog with cruciate ligament disease and we now have a plan to help him with this, to hopefully reduce the symptoms and keep him living a happy, pain-free life for as long as possible. I cannot recommend Anthony enough. He has been so amazing in helping us improve some of our dogs behaviours. Previously our working cocker spaniel could never settle at home, we had to crate him just so he could rest and ever since working with Anthony our dog is so relaxed at home and can sleep so we've managed to get rid of the crate all together. In addition to this Anthony really helped us to advocate for our dog with the vets when we knew something wasn't right with his health. Anthony visited us after we found our puppy (about 9 months at the time) was inexplicably restless, very demanding of attention and losing discipline on walks. What was immediately clear is that Anthony has a genuine adoration for dogs, and the wellbeing of the dog is his absolute top priority when assessing them. His approach was highly consultative with us to understand the challenges we highlighted, our lifestyle, and how we were going about our day with the puppy. He is masterful and gentle in the way he assessed our puppy for her behaviour and after he diagnosed what he felt the issues were, he created a plan to address them. Anthony shares techniques with you in person and follows up afterward with written explanations. He also makes a point of being available by text or mobile for any questions, and proved to be very responsive. He commits himself to improving the wellbeing of your dog. Using the techniques and games Anthony recommended, we noticed big improvements in our puppy’s behaviour. She became less demanding, more settled and better on walks. Additionally, Anthony picked up on what he thought was physical discomfort in one of her legs and that which could be contributing to her behaviour. The signs of this were completely imperceptible to everybody else - and given her active nature, you would have no inclination that she was in any physical discomfort. Anthony conducted an investigation based on many photos and videos and generated a report combining this with her behaviour, which we have been able to share with our vet. The vet confirmed she does have a physical issue that is probably causing her pain, and we are investigating this medically further. We are incredibly grateful for Anthony for picking up on this while she is so young. We will hopefully now find a solution that will have prevented years of possible pain, all because he picked up on the very subtle physical signs. - Joe Garland Less

Anthony is probably the most genuine kind, take no rubbish person I’ve ever met. He’s given us countless amounts of time, patience, resources, responses (I have messaged him a LOT!). He’s always straight to the point and extremely kind and caring in his work, to the point that he’s trying to get along with my very shy nearly 2 year old daughter who is at every session we have.
