The Intention Project

In the past few months, the owner of this business has been actively seeking reviews from their members in exchange for a chance to win a free month. However, reviews on Google should be based on genuine experiences and opinions, not influenced by incentives. It is important for reviews to be honest and unbiased, reflecting the true quality of the business and its coaches. Members should feel motivated to leave positive reviews because of their positive experiences, not because of a potential reward.
Here is my honest review.
I have been a member for four years, and last week after class, I received an email that left me blindsided without any explanation. I have attached the email to illustrate how they treat their members.
I will spread the word and caution anyone thinking of joining this gym that they may be unexpectedly canceled without any explanation. This behavior is completely out of the norm for any business I have encountered.
The community at the gym is uplifting, but I have had some concerns about the gym owners and the way they run things. The gym doesn't live up to the image they portray, as they tend to favor certain members and can be cliquey. The coach doesn't offer much help with technique, and I've witnessed a coach making fun of new members' form with other members instead of offering assistance.
They also make promises about community events that end up not happening. Additionally, the gym is quite expensive for not being a CrossFit affiliate anymore.
Rather than accommodating the wants and needs of their clients, they expect the clients to accommodate to their wants and needs.
The owner must understand the importance of distinguishing between personal matters and business matters.
