I’ve been training with Ikmal at Move Fitness Ampang since January 2026, and even though it’s early days, I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness and overall well-being.From the very first session, Ikmal took the time to really understand my goals, my (long list of) physical constraints, and what I wanted to achieve from personal training. I especially appreciate how attentive and thoughtful he is when it comes to my limitations. Instead of pushing a generic workout plan, he carefully observes how my body responds to different exercises and adjusts accordingly. He consistently checks my form, makes sure movements are safe, and modifies exercises, which we’ve had to do on several occasions.What stands out most about Ikmal is how tailored every session feels. Aside from weight loss, my goals for personal training included, very specifically, my target to improve my aerial hoop practice. He has thoughtfully designed my workouts to support this.Ikmal is also incredibly patient and encouraging. He explains the purpose behind each exercise so I understand how it contributes to my goals, which makes the sessions feel purposeful and motivating. Even on days when I feel tired, he manages to keep the energy positive and pushes me just enough to make progress without overwhelming me.Another thing I really appreciate is how attentive he is throughout the session. He’s fully present, always watching posture and technique, and quick to give helpful corrections or encouragement. It makes a huge difference compared to trainers who simply count reps.If you’re looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and genuinely committed to helping you achieve your goals in a safe and sustainable way, I highly recommend Ikmal at Move Ampang!
