I’ve been training at this branch of MOVE Private Fitness for the past 3 years, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. The coaches here are a colourful bunch, each with their own personality, but they all share one thing in common - a genuine commitment to helping you progress on your fitness journey. There’s no cookie-cutter approach to training. Instead, they take the time to understand your fitness level, limitations and personal goals before tailoring a programme that works for you.My coach, Wei Shin, has been fantastic. He’s constantly fine-tuning my training programme to keep it challenging yet achievable, and has consistently encouraged me to push a little further despite my endless gripes (my body seems to come with a default setting that naturally resists exercise). Somehow, he still manages to convince me to show up week after week. Beyond the gym, he occasionally organises hikes, casual cycling and pickleball sessions for clients, which is great if you’re looking to stay active while getting to make new friends. The facilities are another plus. The equipment is well maintained, and the space is large enough that you can train comfortably without worrying about bumping into the person next to you.Yes, the fees are more premium than a regular gym membership, but you really do get what you pay for - dedicated 1:1 coaching, personalised programmes, proper attention to form, and someone who keeps you accountable when your motivation decides to take a day off. For me, it’s been a worthwhile investment in my health.
