Since my body is often in an uncertain condition, he is always very patient and listens carefully to my concerns. I've been training with MOVE since 2022. I reached out to MOVE because I was struggling with my weight and always felt tired. Running was particularly tough because I had a knee problem, and every time I tried, I felt knee pain. And I also didn't want to make things worse by injuring myself when training alone without proper knowledge.Working with YY for strength training has led to remarkable improvements in my life. Thanks to YY, I've experienced significant weight loss, am now knee pain-free, have improved of fitness level, and feel more energetic and happier overall. YY influenced me to start running again to maintain a healthier lifestyle, and I soon fell in love with running. Seeing that I was serious about running, YY worked on a personalized strength program addressing my goal. I see huge improvements in my strength, endurance, mobility, and flexibility, which has been a game-changer for my running. I've been able to complete a 10K race strong without stopping, and now I'm gearing up for a 21K. I have a newfound confidence and achieve what once seemed impossible.What keeps me training with YY is the fact that his depth of knowledge, encouragement, dedication, passion, and attention to detail is incredible. YY always showed me the correct technique/form to perform lifts safely and without pain while gradually increasing the weights. Before I joined MOVE, I got injured after falling on the stairs. I tore my ATFL of my right foot and was required to completely rest the right foot for a month and then light walking only for another month.During my recovery process, my weight drastically increased in just 3 months of recovery phase. I was unfit and noticed a loss in body shape. That is one of the reasons, I decided to make changes and besides that I want to start exercising back without worrying about my injury. After a few months training under coach Ammar,I regained my confidence in my body strength and shape, and my eating habits improved. Besides that I was an influence on people around me to start exercising after they all saw my workout video on Instagram. My siblings found a personal trainer at their place too.I could never imagine that I would carry those dumbbells and barbells, but I did and I loved the new experience with them. I managed to Join the KL City Run and hike to Mount Korbu. Thanks to the coach, all the leg exercises really paid off. I would like to say a big thank you to Coach Ammar and I'm grateful for my decision to start my fitness journey with him.I will have to migrate for work purposes hence I sadly can’t continue with coach Ammar. I also would recommend to my friends, family and colleagues in Malacca to kickstart their fitness journey with Move.

Good thing i have done is joining MOVE private fitness and having a trainer like Mikka. As a trainer he did not focus about your workout only, but more than that. He always ensure if your are comfortable in what you are working out and tailor it for you. That's make us more comfortable and easy even though some work out is really hard. All his techniques and advice has helped me to reduce my weight by 7kg over 3-4 months. Our recent trip to India was daunting task, but it keep us move easily because we are fit to encounter that. Thank you Mikka & MOVE and looking forward many more positive years!!

My trainer was Ying Jie and she was very thorough with the training. Pointing out and checking whether I used the correct muscles for each exercise, how the body posture is suppose to be and how the body should be grounded in order to be stable and able to draw strength properly.The training starts with bodyweight to make sure I get the motion correct, before moving to heavier weights. After the physical training, we did an overview of my daily food consumption, my energy output, stress and sleep patterns. It was a very analytical approach that enabled me to visualise how my lifestyle was and decide on measures to help improve on it.Overall, it was a refreshing and educational experience for me, in learning what I can do to improve myself, both physically and mentally.
