I have been living with chronic pain, especially in my neck and left shoulder, since 2014. At times, I believed that my circumstance was “too complex”, and I was just sent off to another specialist for yet again, another scan. I won’t bore you with the long winded medical journey that the past 9 years has taken me on, because it’s a doozy, but I will say that every doctor and every specialist (excluding the physio therapists I’ve seen) were so quick to shut down the idea that maybe, just maybe, going to see a chiropractor could solve this mystery going on in my left shoulder and neck that none of them could seem to figure out. January 2023 is when I met Dr. Andrea for the first time. I could tell from the get-go that she actually cares about her patients. She WANTS to see them thrive and live a pain-free life naturally, not just prescribe them meds and send them on their way. Upon my initial consultation, she knew EXACTLY what was going on in my messed up skeleton just by looking at me. She is extremely knowledgeable, and you can tell that she loves what she does. Over the last 11 years I've tried regular chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteo and have been going every 3 weeks for therapeutic deep tissue massage. After 2 months seeing Dr. Andrea twice a week all the knots in my muscles were gone. After 4 months the limp has disappeared. It is taking time for my body to readjust. Right from the beginning Dr. Andrea recommend me starting to wear indoor shoes and any other shoe that have arch support , do exercise , drink lots of water , ice where it hurts instead of heat and take vitamins and supplements . Few weeks into the treatment I found out my right side sciatic nerve pain getting better and disappeared and so far haven’t been back to this days . My left side of my tempo also have nerve pain issues that been bothering me on and off for longest time . Nerve pain pill is the only treatment that can easy my pains . Now I am able to cut down my pills to half doses to control the nerve pain . My lower back pain , which been bucking me since 20 year ago been gone through different kinds of treatments . The last one that help me was the RFA ( radiator frequency ablation ) meaning burning my nerve so I won’t feel the pains . It works good for 2-3 months and the procedure repeated many times since 2017 . I was on heavy pain killer pills to help me easy my pain while waiting for another RFA . What a great experience at Divine Spine with Dr. Andrea and her team. I have had a progression of lower back pain resulting from a car accident in 2006, and pretty much thought I was just stuck with this pain forever.. well, I have a new found hope with Dr. Andrea! I was also wrong in what I felt was wrong, and where my pain was coming from. Dr. Andrea has access to NETCARE (huge bonus), and printed my xray to show me precisely where my problem was. They also have their own x-ray machine right there in the clinic! She is extremely knowlegeable in the muskuloskeletal & nervous system, and comprehensively explained why I'm having pain in my SI joints, which is where my actual issue is, and how she was going to treat and correct this with their painless, computerized electronic vertebral adjustment device (EVA). I was so impressed, even though I have only had two treatments, I am well on my way to spinal and joint health thanks to her. In fact, she was also a sufferer of SI joint issues related to injury, and had all the necessary tools to help with my recovery. She put me into a specific SI belt, which I cannot stress enough how good this feels, and had the products right at their location so there was no waiting, I walked out feeling SO much better. I will wear this belt diligently for two months and am very engaged in abiding by her education on what I need to do on my end to promote my healing and finally get my life back! On a side note to the spinal health, I also have heel implants that cause me problems and pain, and because of her access to NETCARE, she is so kindly going to review those xrays also, and do what she can to tweak those. For years I went to a crack it snap it chiropractor but stopped a year ago because it seemed to be hurting afterwards more than it helped my aching back and sore SI joints. Six weeks ago I had my first appointment with Dr Andrea, and immediately loved her reassuring manner and different, more non invasive techniques. She explains everything she is doing, offers tips on what to do and not do at home to hasten healing, and just overall gave me hope again that I can control my back pain. Also a very comfortable and relaxing office with great upfront staff. The best thing of all is that my pain has gone from a daily 8 to a 4 or 5 in that short time. Less
