We had a very disappointing experience with Abrams Realty. To start, the agent never confirmed our scheduled tour. When we arrived, we were told the tour had been sent to someone else, which was incredibly unprofessional. Before entering the property, we were asked to sign a form. While this isn’t necessarily unusual, it was a first for us and felt off-putting. The property itself was a disaster. It was occupied, messy, and poorly prepared for a showing. One of the bedrooms had so much clutter on the floor that we couldn’t even view the closet. On top of that, the place reeked of cigarettes and weed. To make matters worse, the tenant was visibly upset and crying about being hungover, questioning why a tour was scheduled on New Year’s Day. What’s baffling is that we scheduled this tour on December 23rd—if they didn’t want to show the property on that day, they shouldn’t have agreed to it in the first place. Instead, the agent sided with the tenant and even commented, “I know we had some people try to schedule on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day,” which was completely unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. The entire experience was uncomfortable, and we left halfway through the tour. To cap it all off, the agent insisted we take his personal phone number, which felt pushy and unnecessary. Overall, this was one of the worst property tours we’ve ever experienced. We expected professionalism and preparation but encountered neither. Less

We used Abrams reality to manage our townhouse.It has been a nightmare i would never recommend them.From not collecting late fees to not responding to us when we had questions to being treated like they own the house and we can do nothing about it.The worst experience ever. Awful experience. A perfect example of a company who does not care at all about the tenants they manage. Anytime I have tried to question or call about anything I have been told to email and over email they are unresponsive (literally ignored a request for 5 months) and very rude when we had our last communication. We were given no reasoning behind our security deposit deductions and they keep putting us through the run around when we ask any questions demanding that in order to respond to very simple questions as to the explanation of the deductions we would have to return the security check and submit to a formal review of our case file (like what! Dramatic much). We left our house in extremely pristine conditions so this whole process has been so frustrating. Not to mention that the carpet cleaner that they Mandate you use upon move out does a horrible job (something I had flagged for them when we moved in and the carpets were filthy) and upon move out I then had to pay the terrible carpet cleaner and then get a steam cleaner and clean the carpets myself and they did not acknowledge our concerns or complaints at all. Anyone who cares about your property or your renters experience should steer very clear of Abrams Realty! Less

Hiring Abrams to manage my property has easily been one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Working with this company has been an actual nightmare. It took over a year and moving back to the area to get out of their convoluted contract, and I am still unable to get an answer from them regarding missing keys, missing items, incomplete work they billed my tenants for, and unexplained services they billed me for - including an unsolicited fireplace servicing completed after they claimed to no longer have a key or garage door opener. They turned on the gas and hired the wrong type of company to service the fireplace, despite being told there was a leak in need of repair. They had drywall repairs and plumbing work done by a nonexistent company, leading to concerns over the licensing and security of the repair work. They left my house unlocked and when it was being marketed in a Facebook scam inviting strangers in to look around the place they denied managing the property to my neighbors and the police who contacted them to secure the house, though they still demanded managing fees from me at the time. Living across the country on active duty military orders I trusted Abrams to manage my house and make my life simpler. They scammed me, they scammed my tenant, and now they have ghosted me when caught in a lie. Do business absolutely anywhere else. Less
