I had a bad experience with my previous PCP. I did some research and decided to try Soriano Med and I thank God that I did. I was a tad bit fearful but the front desk assistants Aidita and Ginia made me feel soooooo comfortable. Aidita assisted my caregiver with getting me into the office (I am currently wheelchair dependent and the office door was a small issue)she didn't just stand and look at me struggle to get in the office as I had previously experienced. Once I was in the office door I was offered a warm cup of coffee which really helped me relax. Aidita showed a concern not just from her experience but from her HEART which meant a lot to me. I think she felt that I was timid and was determined to let me know that I was in a safe place. When placed in an exam room I was greeted by Medical Assistant Maria who listened intently and with care while I voiced my health concerns with her....again something I didn't experience at the other PCP office. Lastly, Dr. Soriano came in like a medical superman. He greeted me and the caregiver that was with me with warmth which made it easy for me not to be reluctant with expressing my health concerns. He addressed every concern that I had as I called them out one by one.My prescriptions were e-faxed and within 3 hours I had my pain med. My former PCP, within a year, NEVER even listened to my heart or lungs; never even took a urine sample from me but gave me a diagnosis of stage 2 CKD...per my recent labs it was a wrong diagnosis. Dr. Soriano not only ordered a repeat on my blood work but ordered more in depth labs which my former PCP should have done but never did. The appointments would last 5-6 hrs. with 5 minutes visitation in the exam room(that's before I see the MD) with my former PCP. I was in and out within an hour AND THEY WERE BUSY. When getting ready to leave the office Ginia thoroughly explained everything to me, answering every question that I had and making sure that I understood what was expected of me....and she actually left her office space to make sure that I didn't have a problem getting out of the office door. I SINCERELY APPRECIATED THESE GOOD FOLKS TODAY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SORIANO MED because they have a kind heart, they are understanding, they care about the patients and have dynamic teamwork. The office is clean, organized and smelled good. I ACTUALLY PAID ATTENTION TO SEE IF THEY WASHED THEIR HANDS AND THEY PASSED. I recommend this office from the standpoint of me being a current patient and a nurse.....by the way they didn't know that I am a nurse as I chose not to reveal that aspect until I was leaving. Today was my first appointment at Dr. Soriano's clinic. The service was wonderful. The girls at the front desk are great and Dr. Soriano is very attentive. I definitely recommend this clinic to everyone if they are looking to feel well taken care of. Staff extremely friendly. Very short waiting time to see Dr. Soriano. Dr. Very thorough in reviewing my medical history. Reviewed my medications in detailed. Did not rushed the appointment and spent sufficient time with me. Very personable mannerism. It was my first appointment and it fully met my expectations. Less
