The workouts are great! The trainers put a lot of thought into planning them so that they are varied and hit every muscle group throughout the week.... After a day of that and meds, I constantly felt pain and discomfort throughout each day. Nothing I did took the pain away for more than a few minutes. I can’t say enough about APEX Performance Chiropractic. I was recently in an accident and injured my foot/ankle pretty severely. Instead of just having me sign a waiver and taking my word, they made sure I was familiar with CrossFit prior to starting the class. Also, regardless of athletic ability and fitness level, they went over dynamic stretches and briefed everyone on each movement's standards as well as the scaling options prior to the workout. Firebase saved my life both physically and mentally 5 years ago when I joined. I knew from the moment I walked in that I was in a place that I would love. As a natural anti-social human I do not enjoy the social aspects of Crossfit however Firebase is a place where social and anti-social humans can enjoy and create spiritual and physical success. I have been going to Firebase for about a year and half and the experience is as great today as when I started. Being new to Crossfit I had a lot to learn and even more to work on. The staff and members are very helpful with a lot of great experience to share. Firebase is all about inclusion and no matter your fitness or skill level they will find the right exercises for you. They are understanding of limitations due to past or recent injuries and will work with you to get past those limits with time. Their programming is well designed, challenging and provides results whether you visit every day or can only manage one or two days a week. Less

I've been going to FireBase consistently since April 2013 (it's now December 2013) and I'm happy to say that I've loved every single minute of it. FireBase is not a traditional gym in any way, shape, or form. The sense of family, community, and camaraderie is unlike any other gym that I've ever been to. When I started back in April, there were plenty of movements and exercises that I simply could not handle physically. With some other members at the gym flying through those same exercises that I couldn't do, it was pretty daunting. In a normal gym, if the guy next to you is benching 250lb or curling 100lb and you can't...it can be pretty awkward. At FireBase, however, the amazing coaches make sure that you scale every workout to a movement and/or weight that your body can handle. They focus on form before strength that eventually proper form will lead to an increase in strength in the long run. It took me a few months, but eventually their planning paid off- I was doing RX exercises and I was getting stronger, without getting hurt. The owners and the coaches want to see you succeed and provide the personalized direction to do so in a way that works best for YOU. Moreover, every single member of the gym is right beside you to encourage you to do better and root you on while you're there. Whether you're the first, third, or last to finish a work out, there are multiple people cheering you on and helping you get through that last burpee, or last box jump, or those last 3 banded pull ups, or that last 100m run. Long story short, if you're interested in increasing your physical fitness, getting out of that every day sedentary slump, or if you're already an athlete who needs a more active work out routine....no matter who you are, give FireBase 2 classes and they will change your life. This is by far the best Crossfit Gym in Orlando. This is the kind of community you want to be a part of. The level of encouragement and coaching to be found her are of the highest level. I have been a part of this community for 5 years, and I hope for it to be many more.

A true family. With excellent coaches committed to your individual growth as an athlete, Firebase exemplifies all that a gym should be. Not only do they offer WODs, but also classes focused specifically on olympic lifting, nutrition workshops and yoga. I wouldn't be where I am today were it not for these passionate individuals that push me to be better.
