Dr. Puzio at Ethos is a game changer. I cannot recommend him enough. I struggled with shoulder pain and stiffness for a year and a half before I found Ethos. I’m an active, athletic person and my shoulder issues were getting in the way of me being able to do the things that I love. I was spending hours searching YouTube and Google for some solution to my shoulder pain. This all changed when I found Ethos and started working with John. I kid you not, after manual therapy during my first session, I felt release and freedom in my shoulder I hadn’t felt in more than a year! John is very methodical and talked me through everything. He started out by testing me and quickly diagnosed a huge imbalance and weakness in my right external rotators (it was clear as day). After manual therapy to loosen up my shoulder he walked me through some exercises to get me to start activating those under active and weak external rotators. He followed up with an email detailing my at home program. Let me be clear - you need to go home and do the work. But if you do, it will pay off. Within 1-2 weeks my shoulder start feeling better, stronger, more stable. It’s been 3 months now and looking back it feels like I have a completely different shoulder. I’m back at the weights I was hitting before (and more), training for handstands, and completely recovered my range of motion. I first discovered Dr. John Puzio through a Facebook ad promoting Ethos Physical Therapy's ability to remedy clicking in one's shoulder. My mysterious shoulder clicking happened seemingly out of nowhere, possibly triggered by a round of Top Golf after a long golf hiatus and an uncomfortable night's sleep. I didn't really want to go the sports doctor, MRI route unless I absolutely had to. Anyway long story short, John worked wonders on my shoulder addressing both the joint pain and the constant clicking that would happen whenever I raised my arm overhead or swam. Now it's at the point where if it happens it only does once in a blue moon or minor instances where I hardly feel it at all. So pretty non-existent in my case. Beyond rectifying my shoulder issues and exceeding our recovery schedule, Dr. John generously offered to evaluate my form in other key lifts I like to do for other muscle groups. Thanks to Dr. John at Ethos, my shoulders as good as it was before and I'm back on track with my fitness goals. Not to mention walking away with better form on exercises I knew could use it. Went in for shoulder pain. 1 session later, it was already feeling better. The work during the session but also the exercises recommended by the PT helped tremendously. Would highly recommend, especially to those who are in sports. He is well diversed in Crossfit which is a plus.

I went to Ethos because I was struggling with a knee injury that just wouldnt heal. Working with John I was able to get back to playing basketball in a couple of weeks. John is smart, professional and makes you feel like your his only patient. Can't recommend Ethos Physical Therapy enough.

This is much different than the typical PT experience of spending maybe 15 mins with a therapist and then being handed off to a student without much experience. It is very hard to find someone who is extremely compassionate, constantly focused on solving all your problems, and well trained in functional movements in the gym so you can get back into the gym asap. About 10 months ago, I tore my ACL and embarked into my recovery alongside John. A good physical therapist is an effective communicator and John not only made me feel strong and comfortable pre-surgery but also helped me through the post recovery phase with a steady and effective pace.
