You will not find a more knowledgeable therapist regarding pain relief and restoration of motion range than John. His techniques and thorough explanations are unsurpassed. This is true one on one physical therapy without interruption or attention seeking individuals at his facility. No one but you and him as he meticulously explains the movements, what they target and insures they are done correctly. Sends you home with “homework” until the next session including easily attainable Youtube, and Instagram videos on that week’s movements so the reference for correct motion is repeated for optimum and rapid results. I first discovered Dr. John Puzio through a Facebook ad promoting Ethos Physical Therapy's ability to remedy clicking in one's shoulder. My mysterious shoulder clicking happened seemingly out of nowhere, possibly triggered by a round of Top Golf after a long golf hiatus and an uncomfortable night's sleep. I didn't really want to go the sports doctor, MRI route unless I absolutely had to. Anyway long story short, John worked wonders on my shoulder addressing both the joint pain and the constant clicking that would happen whenever I raised my arm overhead or swam. Now it's at the point where if it happens it only does once in a blue moon or minor instances where I hardly feel it at all. So pretty non-existent in my case. Beyond rectifying my shoulder issues and exceeding our recovery schedule, Dr. John generously offered to evaluate my form in other key lifts I like to do for other muscle groups. Went in for shoulder pain. 1 session later, it was already feeling better. The work during the session but also the exercises recommended by the PT helped tremendously. Would highly recommend, especially to those who are in sports. He is well diversed in Crossfit which is a plus.

I am constantly throwing different body problems (limited range of motion, tightness, pain, etc.) at him and he goes 110% in working to help alleviate all these problems. He has graciously gone over our time limits a few times in order help answer all my questions and finish out my care/exercises. This is much different than the typical PT experience of spending maybe 15 mins with a therapist and then being handed off to a student without much experience. It is very hard to find someone who is extremely compassionate, constantly focused on solving all your problems, and well trained in functional movements in the gym so you can get back into the gym asap. About 10 months ago, I tore my ACL and embarked into my recovery alongside John. A good physical therapist is an effective communicator and John not only made me feel strong and comfortable pre-surgery but also helped me through the post recovery phase with a steady and effective pace. John helped me with the tear in my right shoulder. With his help, I was able to strengthen my shoulder to the extent where I don't any surgery.
