I can’t say enough positive things about CrossFit Erie, the coaches Shelby and Diana and the friends I have made since joining a few months ago. I came to CrossFit after a decade of distance running and long-course triathlon, thinking that my previous fitness level and workout experience would prepare me for ramping on a new activity and workout regimen. I was wrong. Almost every day and every workout I feel like I am learning something new and tackling a new challenge. I joke around a lot at the gym that I have never had so much fun sucking at something in my life. The truth is, I’ve made a lot of gains in my first 4 months at the gym and have loved everything about the experience. As other members have mentioned, the coaches take time to explain every workout, break down all of the elements to make sure that you are sound in your technique and safe from injury while you work out incredibly hard. If you have been thinking about trying something different and challenging - this is it. Hope to see you at the box! Less

I came to CrossFit Erie to get fit and to improve my quality of life, especially as I get older. While I have been attending here not only have I become stronger, but I am accomplishing things in the process that I never could before. This is only part of what keeps me coming back, the other part is the diverse and supportive community of people who are like me- people who manage life, family, and careers. I love the encouragement and support I receive from the staff and other members while tackling challenging workouts. And the coaches? They are a personable bunch that do an excellent job of teaching the movements, programming the classes, and scaling the movements so people of all skill levels can participate in the workouts.
