After not going to the gym for around 15yrs, finding Baxter Basics was the best thing!! Although i was hesitant at first as it was my first time doing a bootcamp like this, it was all worth it. The coaches were so friendly and understanding, and i found that the exercises were effective and fun. I found people of all ages (which was a concern of mine since I was in yr 12), and enjoyed the environment that Baxter created. Highly recommend others to join.

Great place to train and get fit. All the coaches are fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. From the first day you start they make you feel very comfortable. Very clean facility. They run great programs and the 5am classes are a great way to start the morning. Baxter Basics offer more than just gym work outs, meal plans, goal setting, coaching & the list goes on.

We specifically advised that we did not want to join any group classed. We only wa... More
I joined small groups PT class in April 23. I have just cancelled my membership as of 23/8/23. Initially joined to make lifestyle changes for the long term. And wanted personalised PT. It was very close to where we lived. It allowed us to build new habit. Darren & Jacob were great coaches knowledgeable and patient. We specifically advised that we did not want to join any group classed. We only wanted to do the personalised/small group training. Issue: Around week 14 into training (3 x / week) due to medical issues my sister had to stop attending as she was advised she couldn't do any weight bearing - standing exercises. Until she was reviewed due to pain and inflammation of her ankles with ankle and foot. I continued to attend by myself for 2 weeks with Darren and Jacob. There was ample time to discuss or raise any issues if there was something to do with payment or possibly other options. However, nothing was raised with me in person during our 6 sessions. One would think that after 4 months of training and more than $5K in fees paid. A change in training program options would have been discussed with client in person. Instead, on Friday 18/8 I got a text around 4am cancelling my 5am session & requesting it to be rescheduled to Saturday 19/8 at 6am. I said fine, assuming it was because of a family/personal emergency for Darren. I showed up the next day on Saturday, no apology for late notice or cancellation or reason provided. Sunday 20/8 - a text message is received advising please check email as Monday sessions would no longer proceed as normal, I had to make decision on what I would like to do. Either pay more for 1:1 session or there was a variety of options. The blasé attitude after a considerable investment and lack of courtesy to at least discuss this with me in person was disappointing. It was emphasised to us when joining that if you cancelled even once without appropriate notice. Baxter had the option to refuse to train you. They had family etc to consider so would appreciate at least 24hrs notice if there was going to be a cancellation. I had less than an hour via text and less than 24 hrs via text & email on a Sunday. Ironic how I was held to "their standard" and Darren couldn't hold himself to it? Further to this when I expressed my disappointment and lack of face to face communication. I got gas lit. Customer Service 101: Apologise to your customer. Don't make excuses. Own your mistakes rather than deflect or gas light. And never text saying, "I am sorry it was not handled to your liking." “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” ― Maya Angelou Less
The team is super nice, everyone is very easy going and chilled but they go the extra mile to make you sweat. The workouts are very well planned and you get the support you need to get into the groove. Would definitely recommend Daz and team.

I used to go Virgin active gym, but also wanted some guidance so I feel I found the right fit for me finally here!

I have been my irregular best but love training at Baxter. The coaches make sure to follow up and check my whereabouts when I miss classes. Not many gyms do that. The fee is on the expensive side, but totally worth it. Reach out to Daz or Akii and you will not regret joining Baxter.

Baxter's feels more like a community than a gym, but don't let this confuse you, you work out hard. The Personal Trainers will even tailor the workout for you to make it just that bit harder if you need or if you're just starting out they adjust exercises to your fitness level, so no feelings of shame 😉 ! Started 3 weeks back and it has been an amazing start. The whole team is fantastic and help you through your personal requirement . If you have any injury the team guide and customise the exercise as per your need. Which is absolutely fantastic. I love the sessions as every day you get to do difeerent set of exercises.

It’s been nearly a month since I joined Baxter team and I am really happy with the training so far. Instructors are very helpful and friendly. Daz and his team of coaches are wonderful. They are all supportive, understanding, encouraging and motivating. The workouts are great, with so much variety you could never get bored with these sessions. My husband and I are newbies to this kind of group fitness, but we’re loving turning up each day.

Joining BB was probably this best thing I’ve done. I’m in my sixth week and I already feel much better physically and mentally. The coaching is great and the group is just awesome. I signed for 12 weeks initially but I’m going to stay for much longer. I strongly recommend BB.

All the coaches are wonderful. I am really enjoying the workout. Everyone gets full attention in the sessions. The good thing is that they always come to you with alternate work out if you can’t do the harder ones.They help you you with the meal plans as well. They help you out to reach your goal.

They constantly follow up with you to see if you are doing okay, whether you need to alter your training program, etc. You don’t get this type of personal focus from any of the branded gyms. BB's awesome coaches motivate and push you to the limits. I joined a 6 week program but never could stop. The online classes during the lockdown really helps and the work group is wonderful and always supportive. Way to go team.

Great place in a group setting adds to motivation to work out. The coaches are the most cordial and make an effort to remember attendees by name. They challenge you and are very understanding of personalising exercises to suit all fitness levels. There is a good vibe to the place which would make you go back again. in my 28 day challenge I was able To attend as many sessions during the week that you want to attend. The program has valuable training for weight loss as well or just getting into healthy habit of eating. The trainers are great!!! :) really nice and welcoming as well as the people that I worked out with. I actually enjoyed my me time.

This training is fantastic. In my first two weeks I noticed real gains in strength and real loss in flab! If you are serious about getting in shape, this is a great option.
Much more than a gym. Great coaches make you feel very welcome and supported, particularly through those difficult first few sessions. Other members are friendly and are only too happy to help out the newbies. After just a few weeks, I'm feeling fitter and more energetic. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner.

I’m in the 21-day trial and I’m sticking in! They got different types of workout each session so it never gets boring! Coaches are so energetic and approachable that really motivates me personally.
Great gym for group fitness training (boot camp) with qualified coaches and awesome atmosphere. 45 min sessions with warm up and HIIT metabolic sessions combined with strength and cardio. Really enjoyed the 6-week bootcamp challenge and this motivated me back into my workout rhythm. If you want to get fit with professional coaching and guidance this is the place to go! I have been with Baxter Basics for almost 2 years now and I have never been fitter. I am now enjoying a much more active life. The coaches are wonderful and encouraging, the people are very friendly and helpful. Training is varied and fun, I really enjoy the boxing. Give them a go!

I joined Baxter Basics over 4 years ago. Since I joined Darren and the team have not only shown me great technique and commitment to exercise but more importantly diet. The first 2 years I trained with Baxter Basics just training and I didn’t change my diet. Of course I was stronger and fitter than I ever was but I’d only lost a few KGs. Then I looked at my diet with Darren and the team and realised I’d been training to eat whatever I wanted and wasn’t getting the results I was looking for. After some dietary changes I’ve lost 20kg and have more energy than I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend Baxter Basics for anybody in what ever stage of live or fitness level, they’ll accommodate you. I've been with Baxter Basics for 2 years and love it. The trainers are very experienced and really helpful no matter what level you are. The training sessions are challenging and alway changing which keeps things interesting. I highly recommend Baxter Basics as way to keep fit and meet some great people. Baxter Basic is not an ordinary group fitness training but rather a fun family environment. BB coaches not only teach you the proper way of the workout but also guiding you with healthy food ideas. You'll achieve your desired body weight as well as learning good eating habits. Love being a part of the BB familia!
