I have an amateur radio tower that raises and lowers horizontally. The tower company (Heights Tower) recently went out of business, so replacement parts for wear items became a problem for me until I found Gross Machining. Absolutely stellar job, was in and out pressed off the bearings for my Volvo’s intermediate axle shafts and pressed new ones on super quick. Was so glad to find this company. They were able to replace a plastic post that repeatedly snapped off at the slightest touch. They designed a metal post that flexes without snapping off. This was more than I had asked for and was done in a day. They were very professional and so easy to talk to. I will definitely be contacting them in the future!!!

Can’t say enough about Kent. I commissioned him to machine a threaded insert on a hydraulic end clevis that no other machine shops would touch, as it was a one off job. We needed it in a hurry and Kent delivered! We had the part back in the matter of a few hours. He went above and beyond when we ran into an issue with fitment. That issue turned out to be self inflicted, but it did not stop Kent from offering his help and advice.Had the chance to have a relatively lengthy conversation and he is extremely knowledgeable in his craft, as well as many others! Gross Machining get 5 stars! For being open on Saturday is huge as most machine shops are M-F. Kent is vey professional and knowledgeable in the machining profession. Kent did a great job changing out my front wheel bearing and hub. Did the job while I watched and waited in 20 minutes, which was another huge plus as I needed to beat the heat. Most shops you’re stuck dropping the work off and will be called later as there is other jobs in front of yours. I will definitely be using Gross Machining moving forward with any other jobs I need done.Thanks again Kent!
