Listen. If you have a newborn or have an elderly parent that needs someone super super gentle (i.e hand off), then go here. I went here in 2023 a few times and finally just now have the guts to say something. When I went, they did the xray, told me the issues, told me it would be slow going and that I would save $ if I bought a package of treatments that cost over $1k. Now I wasn’t born yesterday. I wasn’t going to lock myself into something after 1 darn treatment. I also didn’t have insurance or a job. I had to ask my partner for $50 each time so I could go.Each time Dr. Byroad, the female, had me and a slew of other patients waiting in the waiting room. She was seeing each of us for no more than 5 minute periods. That’s not hyperbole people. Here’s what would happen: Every visit, she would glance at my chart, then take a vertebrae tapper tool and tap it on two vertebrae. Then she would stick a current on my ear for pressure point acupuncture (I can literally buy this on amazon, why aren’t you treating my back?) and then she would move me out of her room and into another room with a vibrating table. I would get 5 minutes on the table and that was it. Visit over. The last time I went back I tried to gently let her know that I was in pain, that I was unhappy, that I wanted to be treated. She just said yeah its a long road. That was it. Immediately dismissive and unconcerned, she didn’t want to hear about it. She tapped one part of my back once, then said thats it. I started tearing up (but hid it of course) because I was upset that I paid $50 for nothing. As I was getting up she remembered the ear current. When I got in my car I started sobbing because I was in so much pain and had no money left. She could have made my back feel so much more better if she just took the time to treat me, but she churned me out just to see more and more patients, hoping I would keep returning in pain. They kept cutting their hours more and more so they literally worked maybe a half a day twice a week (again in 2023, no idea what it is now). But that and my personal experience told me all I needed to know. They are making money, doing fine, getting people stuck in packages and not caring about whether they actually treat them. Google seems to love them. I don’t. Their office bugged me for months about scheduling another appointment but what was the point? If you aren’t 6 months or 86 years old and are in serious pain, don’t go here. They won’t take you or tour pain seriously but they will take your time and money. Im in law school in a different state and am finally seeing a professional, not an energy healer, which compelled me to write this to warn others that these guys are bad. Go somewhere else to a professional. Ask them what their approach is to treatment. Ask what their visit length is. Ask what they do if someone isn’t feeling better. Because these guys, they aint it.
