Transferring my grandmothers care to the Americare office Carrollton has been life changing for my grandmother and the entire family. Michelle, Nicole and Sawna are simply the best. The care and communication on a daily basis is top of line. Fully recommend this team of professionals.

WOW! Just WOW! Full disclosure, we are fairly new to AmeriCare. We were with Visiting Angels for about 7 months and dealt with nothing but problems, terrible caregivers and never having our needs fulfilled. We were scared to make the switch. My only regret is that we waited so long to do it. Janet the office manager is not only kind but listens to what your needs are and COMES THROUGH with the caregivers! She is AMAZING! The first day we felt as if we were waking up after a terrible nightmare to a beautiful new world. Our first caregiver showed up for our uncle and was well trained, ready to do her job. It was such a change from what we had experienced with the last agency we had hired. Since then Janet has helped us find care so that we could finally do something with our children and leave the house knowing our uncle was well cared for.We had not been able to do that for almost 6 months.We are still new to AmeriCares so I will be updating this review down the road, but I just had to give Janet and her team props. We were on the verge of having to send our uncle to a home and she has pulled us back from that ledge.This company deserves 5 stars. The company we were with had that, but we found out the hired one of those marketing companies to write fake reviews for them. If you’re in the Gloucester area take my advice and go with AmeriCares and skip the nightmare we had to experience for so long. These people are so much better!!!!

Great caregiver agency and fabulous office manager !!!!!We have been getting in-home care services through Americareplus in Lexington,VA for over three years!Janelle Caldwell is an outstanding person and professional. She has done an amazing job staffing the constant changing schedule needs of my in-laws’s in-home care.Janelle is personable, caring and supportive… Not to mention she is the most reliable professional I’ve ever met.We are truly grateful to Americareplus and the amazing office manager Janelle ⭐️

I cannot say enough good things about Americare Plus, especially Natalie and Janet in the office. They have truly gone above and beyond to make sure my mom receives the care she deserves.They work hard to ensure she has aides available to meet her needs, and their dedication has made such a difference for our family. Safety is a huge aspect of my mom’s care, and I am incredibly thankful for the extra effort they put in to make sure everything is done right.It is comforting to know my mom is in caring and capable hands. Americare helped obtain a terrific aide for my 86 year old mom. Although she was just 19 and getting started in this business she has been industrious and caring and does an excellent job for my mother who is not always easy to please! Very happy with this agency and especially our aide!

I am a brand new patient to Americare Plus Bedford. Not knowing for sure what to expect, I was jubliant and amazed about how easy it was to have talked to the manager, Jan Bradley of the Bedford branch for the first time. I told her what I needed in detail in regards to my home care help.She sent me a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) who is caring, sincere, trustworthy, honest, humorous, kind, and does the work I ask of him. Brandon Byrd is a joy to be around. This facility should get a five-star rating as well as my CNA.
