Would highly recommend. Excellent food . Atmosphere. And service. Will definatly be back .
Amazing food, drinks & service! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
Being a vegetarian, not really ideal but the ambience is great and service - nice. The head chef was not in and the other chef tried his level best. Commendable but couldn’t appeal my taste buds. Indians could relate to the usual expected delectable dilemma in the UK. Starter portions were pretty small
Nice place, always empty, poorly executed food. Scallops good, beef starter too tough, lamb biryani rice overcooked and flavourless
The place and food were exquisite. The staff were so friendly even the guests as well. It seems that the place also kids friendly. The spices, taste and dishes were delicious however prices range is a bit high.
This place is absolutely exceptional. The interior is very glam. The service was amazing and everyone was extremely friendly. The food was beautiful. I cannot fault any dish and the mocktails were delicious. This is perfect for a gathering but it is the ideal place for a date night. I had such a great time here and it is worth checking out The quality was top tier and Adrian is lovely
Best restaurant in Bath by far! Adrian gives outstanding service and a friendly smile every time we visit and makes us very feel very special
When working in this part of the country, this is my first choice, the food is excellent and consistent which as you know these days is hard to come by!
6 of us eat here Friday evening, we all had the taster menu with the wine, we all loved the experience, the service, the food and wine were amazing. I can't recommend this enough. 6*
Amazing customer service, tasty food. Would recommend!
Since our family moved to Bath i always curious what is Mint room will b ..Our family dined at this place yesterday it was most pleasant staffs and such a beautifully cooked set menues soo pleased and still happy mood
We went at a quiet time so atmosphere wasn't buzzing hence two stars. It happens. Lovely decor and comfy seats, and ladies toilet has fabulous wash basin. Food was excellent and we all enjoyed it, but it is over priced and a 12% service charge was unwarranted. We won't be returning. Also parking is a nightmare which is by the way but important to know.
Whilst the food is excellent and deserves the accolade it gets in the press, it does not warrant the excessive service charge added to the bill. We found some of the staff a little condescending.
Was asvised to come here and I'm soo pleased I did with 2 friends. We had the tasting menu and every course was explained with passion and pride. Amazing experience, thankyou.
Excellent food, (i had halibut, soooo good! Not soaking in the sauce, which was apart , I highly recommend this dish) very good service. I was a bit surprised that service charge was added and included in the bill.
The food was exquisite, I would recommend the Seafood Molee to anyone who would ask. I couldn't ask for or expect better food or service, this may have been one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.
Excellent quality food with attentive, knowledgeable staff.
Lovely service and food was delicious. Good range of drinks as well. Would come back and try the tasting menu next time as looked amazing. 10 out of 10!
Lovely food, absolutely delicious at a very reasonable price
We visited this restaurant on Tuesday 19th September. The food and the ambience were both superb and the quality of the service was outstanding. Will definitely visit again.
Omg!! THE BEST food and service in our entire lives!! I can not stress enough how incredible the staff an food is at this establishment. Highly highly recommended 👌 👍 👏 💯 the cocktails were also incredible ❤️

Again served hot, with a warm but not overly hot heat to it and a huge amount of meat in the serving. The rice was perfectly cooked, and a great accompanying side (FYI. Rice is seperate) I also ordered a peshawar naan, but before service I was advised it contained Dairy, and they promptly changed my order. I was in the area for business, but will definitely return with my family. Less
I know the indian food. The food which I ordered we can’t say its indian food its just Indian flavour. No spices, no taste, so can’t say its Indian restaurant. Very expensive aa well. If you are say so you are Indian restaurant you have to provide proper indian taste.

We went to The Mint Room for a special occasion meal and chose their wonderfully generous 'Tour of India Tasting Menu' (also available with paired wines), which we thought amazing value in terms of the quality of food, skill of cooking and generosity of portions. What made the evening extra special was the mixture of genuine delight with which the dishes were presented to us - our server was so charming and enthusiastic when he explained the origins and special characteristics of each course that made it a good representation of the food of a specific indian region. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Less
Was a mid week so not overly busy - food was superb and delicious - two of us had the unique taster menu with wine which was amazing - the other had traditional fair which was also superb - would happily go back for more !!
Excellent tasting food and really good service, would definitely go again on next visit to Bath!
Service was great can't be faulted, although the food I found was standard. It had the fine dining presentation but taste wise was no different from your standard Indian takeaway.
Best indian restaurant experience. We had various dishes. Everything was exquisit and full of flavour. Some we're really hot. Authentical Indian cuisine. Very friendly service. Nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed It. We would come again, when visiting Bath.
My pregnant wife couldn't finish her meal so they put it in tupperware for her, but added extra because she was, quote, "eating for two". Wonderful service, excellent food, funky jazz.
Wonderful food was excellent from the start to the finish and the service was excellent thank you mint room
In my opinion, the service was slow and not what you would expect from a top end restaurant. The attention to detail was lacking, no hand wipes or mints after the meal. However the food was very nice and the portions small . The ambiance wasn't right with the music being to loud

I was at the Mint Room for Bathavon Rotary Club's annual Mint Room Quiz Night, and it was a lovely evening! We are always so well-looked after there, with superb food and excellent service in what I think is a beautiful venue. I can certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian food. You should definitely try this place out - I don't think you will be disappointed! 👍🏻😀
We had a charity dinner and quiz with seventy guests in the Mint Room. The food, the service, and the atmosphere made everybody feel like a winner. The Mint Room is a treasure trove of Indian high cuisine.
We been 5 of us at the mint room at bath. We really enjoyed. Food was tasty and excellent service. All dishes was full of flavour. I have been tried too many Indian food but this one is the best. I never have been this kind of tasty food. We had lovely evening. Specially thank you to Aakash. We highly recommend this place.
A brilliant evening at the Mint Room with a great meal and service provided by Moe and his team as we celebrated the return of Bathavon Rotary Club’s annual Mint Room Quiz, raising over £2000 for Rotary Charities. Thank you Moe.

No draft on tap and food average but expensive. Service average and service charge on the the bill.
Not your typical Indian food but very tasty
Delicious fine dining, perfect for a special birthday meal.
Try the tasting menu - unforgettable. Will convert your friends that don't like Indian food...
Very good southern Indian food. They go for quality rather than quantity, which I wholeheartedly approve of. It's not a cheap eat, but it's good value considering the quality of the food.
Loved the food! One of the best Indian Restaurants in UK for sure. We went there 2 nights straight in row just for the Veg Biryani they make. Absolutely finest! Service is also very good, and the staff is very polite too! The place is usually busy, it's best to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointments.
Fabulous 👌

An absolute delight for the senses! From the moment we entered, we were greeted warmly and treated like royalty. The menu is a work of art, and each course was a culinary masterpiece. Fine dining at its finest! The flavors, textures, and presentation of the food were simply exquisite. The knowledgeable staff guided us through an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Special thanks to GM Adrian
Amazing food, fantastic service, and a really nice environment. Will def go back next time I am in town.
Soham made the experience very unique and joyful. The good is great, recommended and coming again.
I was a bit taken aback at the location (off a main road in a bit of a built-up area) but the interior of the restaurant is lovely. Server was very friendly and explained all of the dishes. Quick service. Food was tasty, especially the cheese naan! Veggie starting platter was a bit undercooked. Tasty but not exceptional.
Best Indian food I’ve had in England, hands down. Halibut was perfectly cooked, curries were flavorful and richly textured, and service was extremely friendly.
Manager is very rude and condescending, treats his staff with no respect. The food has gone down hill in the past year
Very expensive

However, I phoned a day prior to going and the person on the phone said everything was halal but didn't sound too sure. I phoned on the day of going again and a different person answered saying only the chicken and lamb was halal. But, after just reading another review they were told that just the chicken was halal. This is my only concern as this is not made at all clear and could be quite a big problem. For a restaurant with such high standards I feel as though this would be clearly advertised. Overall, the experience I had was brilliant and would highly recommend. Less

Absolutely beautiful food! Great flavour and presentation. Very nice atmosphere and table settings. Great service. Nothing to complain about!
Delicious as always, great service

I was trying to purchase a gift voucher online for a relative as a Christmas present (she eats here often and enjoys the food) so I thought it would be a nice idea for a gift voucher. Website crashed, ‘error’ occurred and basically the transaction was taken twice from my bank account - £100! I have tried calling several times and kept getting told to call back after 4.30, finally got through to right person and was asked to email proof of bank transactions and explanation of what happened.. all in all, three weeks later and no response. I am £50 down, I do not live anywhere near Bath to be able to use the voucher myself and regardless, it was their website that had an error that I have had to pay for. I have three children and Christmas coming up so I really could have done with my money back. Very let down. Less
Attentive service and great food. Lamb chops and lamb shank are a unique speciality worth the visit alone.
Food was delicious! The service was great!
A lovely restaurant with great food service and menu. Definitely recommend
Beautiful restaurant. It has become tradition for us to visit Bath each year around Christmas time and we always come to the mint rooms. Food is delicious. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has a luxury feel.10/10

My most favourite and beautiful place for dinner. Mint room serve all delicious 🤤 and mouth watering food 🤤❤️❤️. Thanks luffa brother and all mint room team for great service ❤️❤️. Highly recommended please

Got serious food poisoning from this restaurant from the paneer. Threw it all back up in the middle of the night! Messaged them twice to tell them this, and asked for just my meal as a refund and have been ignored.
Really disappointed in our Deliveroo meal from The Mint Room tonight. Very little meat in the dishes we ordered and all the sauces were the consistency of very runny baby food. Also far too salty. This used to be one of my favourite places for a take-away curry.
This was the absolute best Indian food we have ever had! The staff was amazing, the ambiance excellent, and the food to die for!
Went to the Mint Room in Bath tonight. Can't fault it. There were six of us all chose a different dish and it was no trouble to the staff. Even made a vindaloo that wasn't on the menu. We all shared the dishes and all agreed it was the best Indian meal we had ever had. If we return to bath definitely going there again. Than you to all the staff.
If given a choice, I’d rate it even less. Given its reputation, I thought we’d have a good time but the server was disgustingly ill manned and rude. Fabulous, one of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to. Before discussing the amazing food, must call out the incredible staff who looked after us from the second we walked in the door. Disappointing, we've been a few times in the past and found it very good. Sadly this time the service was very slow for both courses and the place was draughty. Not a great experience. Also, look out for the assumed service charge. I'm not sure we'd return!

I came here with my wife on Monday and we were expecting great things, being our first ever visit. Our expectations were surpassed- the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We had Lucas helping us for the evening, and he certainly added a lot to the experience. The prices can be quite high but it’s worth every penny. Can’t wait to come back.
All sold out on certain items on menue
The food at Mint room is really good and the customer service is excellent. Will visit this place again.
Try the Taste of India taster menu - delicious mix of flavours

Best curry I've ever eaten. 😍
Great food and setting.
What a wonderful dining experience. Staff superb along with the decor but the food was exquisite. We opted for the taster menu to experience the full range of what's on offer and we were not disappointed! Wonderful array of flavours, top quality ingredients and beautifully presented. I can highly recommend 👍🙂
Good food but slow service
We had the tasting menu and wine flight. Very enjoyable and friendly staff. Much more than just a curry house
Impeccable service from all staff and would highly recommend tasting menu which was delicious and presented beautifully.Great for a special night out .
Visited The Mint Room for my birthday and it didn't disappoint; the food was exquisite, with all the tastes you'd expect from a high-end Indian establishment, with stellar service received from Lucas John-Lewis, who made my evening extra special. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for 5 star food in Bath.
Amazing food! Not like any Indian food I've ever had. We had the sharing menu with wine courses. Highly recommend it and if coming back to Bath would be difficult not to come again
Went to the Mint Room as we were staying at the Holiday Inn directly opposite! I glad I did. The Best Indian meal that I've had by far. Worth the sleepless night at the Holiday Inn with the overstuffed pillow....but that's another review! :-)
Food was ok wouldn’t say outstanding onion bahji was very hard and dry didn’t have much flavour and the popadoms seemed like someone grabbed a bag from pound shop and put them on plate first experience here and asked waiter if a certain dish was nice and his response ‘it’s fine dining everythings nice’ not very helpful
Perfect 30th Anniversary meal... a taste of India menu, just enough for 2... highly recommended (with a bottle of champagne)...
Supremely tasty food matched by excellent and friendly service. Prices are higher than I would normally expect to pay for in an Indian restaurant but thoroughly worth the extra for the quality of food provided. Having regularly enjoyed Indian restaurant cuisine for the last 40 years, I would be hard-pressed to recall anything tastier than the food served here.
Absolutely amazing food, cannot recommend enough. I didn't know Indian food was that good having only eaten from local restaurants or takeaways.
Best Indian Restaurant.
I've been here a few times, and each time the food has been phenomenal. Courteous, attentive staff and a wonderful atmosphere. One of the best restaurants in the whole city, hands down.
Haven't been here in a while but the food was absolutely delicious and the service top class. The cocktails were also lush. Love it! 💙

I tried to leave a review but it would not allow me sufficient to complete space to complete my review and to cut it down would have altered the outcome significantly. Sadly I have not been able to share my views with other diners. However I have done a full review on my Blog FatboysBreakfast.wordpress.com Surely there is room for a full review?
Amazingly delicious and well definitely be back.
Lovely setting and meal, though had to wait long to pay and poppadoms we ordered did not come before our mains!..
miserable staff never cracked a smile, maitre d rude and unhelpful, food overpriced and mediocre, think you need a new bunch of staff with some people skills!
Fantastic meal. We took six there andevery meal was lovely.

The waitress was lovely and very busy. The restraint is really nice. The food was amazing when it finally came, we had our starter really quickly, then it took over an hour for our mains to come. With people who came in after being served before us. We were not given any explanation for ghe delay.
Excellent food and service. One of the best curry restaurants around.
Been twice now. Beautifully cooked on both occasions and very tasty.
A bit expensive but it was such a lovely meal and the staff are very friendly
The service is way too slow.
It is something majestic to taste their authentic South Asian cuisine! I found great taste which I never tasted before in my life!
We had the tasting menu which was lovely! Great flavours and good value.

Firstly for anyone reading this, i'd just like to say this review is not about the food. I do not write negative reviews often, but this experience has warranted it. In summary, I: - Booked a 30th surprise birthday meal for my partner & his family - Received two booking confirmations, the most recent was sent on 19th April - Tried ringing earlier on in the day before the booking to make sure everything was ok and about the cake for the evening (couldn't get an answer, but assumed was all fine) - All parties attending the meal drove from outside of Bath & pre-paid for parking at the nearby holiday inn express, and some had booked time off work - We arrived at the restaurant, to find it was shut - Given poor excuse about weather (weather was fine) - Was told someone tried to ring me (I had 1 missed call 40 mins before our dinner, by this time I'd already left and I had no voicemails / email communications from them) - Left disappointed and didn't celebrate my boyfriend's 30th as a result of this - No email communication or apology received since then What makes this so much worse is I have been to the Mint Rooms several times before, and the food has always been good - I really didn't expect this from them. Also following lockdown, I was keen to support this restaurant opening back up again. I had written an email the next day to express my sheer disappointment and give them a chance to reply privately and explain what had happened (didn't want to blast it all over trustpilot / social media etc. straight away and thought there may have been a genuine reason), but that was now over a week ago, and i've not had a single reply or apology from them! After this, I feel so frustrated and we're very reluctant to return and give them our money again. A 30th birthday is a very special occasion, and this clearly shows they do not care about their customers. Surely if they knew they couldn't accommodate us, they could've notified us more than an hour before the booking - to save us wasting time / money and to ensure we had time to find an alternative? Their entire approach to this situation, and lack of communication / empathy, is appalling. I was so excited to surprise my partner, and it was completely ruined. Do not book if you don't want the same thing to happen to you! Less

We have received a superb 5 course Mother's Day feast. Delivered to the minute and so well explained, allowing each course to be served easily. The food quality was excellent, cooked perfectly. We cannot wait to eat properly st the restaurant. Thank you for today.

Delicious food! Amazing service!
Fantastic. Highly recommend. Great service, impeccable food, such high quality and unusual spins on classic Indian food. Cant wait to come again and try some other items.
Excellent fine dining Indian experience, lovely food and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
Awful gluten free support. Menu not marked up properly at all. Zero beer options - bit they do have alcohol free beer!? It's 2020. The expectations of a restaurant to support everyone we're massively let down by the mint room. Having to be gluten free isn't a choice people make. They need to smarten their act up. I will not be returning.
Very enjoyable. Quite expensive but good portion size. Not as good as the best Indian restaurant food which was at Jamuna in Bath but they sadly closed several years ago. Been to many Indian restaurants and this is the closest to Jamuna for great flavour. But you you do pay! Staff first rate booking easy and good Covid precaution.
Tasteful, relaxing ambience. Courteous staff. FABULOUS food. I would highly recommend .
Quite a limited menu and somewhat overpriced for what's on offer. However, one of the meals was excellent and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Onion bhajis, for example, were not traditional and perhaps contained too many additional ingredients. Interesting experience.

Yesterday, however, was awful - half an hour wasted phoning, getting cut off, being put on hold immediately without being spoken to and being transferred to voicemail. When someone did eventually answer they were quite rude and explained the delay by saying they had 200 people in the restaurant - which can't really be possible with the current Covid restrictions. The wait for a takeaway order was 1.5 hours, so we gave up and went elsewhere. It's a shame, because the curries are very good, if a bit pricey. This experience has put me off going there again. Less

Nice selection, tasty curries and lovely cocktails. Not sure if pay the full price, but it's pretty good with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
Hands down the best Indian I've ever had! We had the Tasting Menu and asked for pescetarian and were fully catered for! I cannot recommend this highly enough! Please make time to visit here!
A totally brilliant experience, I highly recommend that you try the taster menu! The staff are very friendly and helpful with an excellent explanation of each dish. Parking is the only issue but worth the effort.
Lovely environment and beautifull food! We had a great time :) only downfall we parked in homebase which only allows and half dont park there as by the time the food come we made it back to the car with a minute only to spare. Will visit again very soon
Disappointing service. Showed misguiding delivery timings on the app(20 min), and declined to cancel order afterwards (real delivery time was over 1 hr). Brusque when called.
One of the best if not the best Indian I ever had. Since I like really spicy food the chef made a sauce just for me and brought it in a small pan, when I said its OK but not spicy enough they came with a second one and that was SPICY. Starters were amazing food was amazing service was excellent. Definitely worth a try for anyone that likes Indian Cuisine! If I could put 6 starts I would.
The food here is amazing! Staff are friendly. It's a definite must visit when in Bath, we'll definitely be going back to enjoy their food.

I would like to make a complaint about my takeaway order today from The Mint Room. The order was delivered an hour after the order was placed, which was acceptable, however the driver delivering the order was extremely rude - he was swearing on the way to my flat, complaining about the long journey and using the f-word to my face. When he was halfway to my flat, he refused to come to my door and called me to go to him to take the food. As a customer I do not think I have the duty to cater to the driver's needs, but I did as he wished out of respect. But that certainly did not appease him. When I came to him, he escalated the situation and said, "Do you want me to set up the table for you? No you see I'm only joking, I came all this way already!" and turned this delivery into an absolute farce. This kind of service is appalling and utterly unacceptable. I paid almost 4 pounds of delivery fee for your service, so I think it is right to believe it's your responsibility to deliver to me without swearing. I do not understand where his anger came from, but it is extremely unprofessional to let out his anger on me. I was looking forward to trying out The Mint Room, but this drama made me lose all my appetite. I have no tolerance for this kind of behaviour. Less

Delicious food and fabulous service. Thank you we will come again!
Absolutely beautiful food! Great service x
Best Indian food I've eaten in the UK
Fusion menu (read slightly pretentious), consequently very nice but expensive. Not a vast choice but beautifully cooked. Best for special occasions.
Incredible food... The peshwari naan was to die for and the dish was devine. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a top quality curry
Good quality food. Waitrons should be a bit friendlier
I liked it but not a lot. Food was delicious but the service through most of the meal wasn't great. Then they pulled a birthday treat out the bag at the end. Would recommend the food for sure. Definitely contemporary Indian rather than your usual Indian restaurant.
Had high hopes due to great reviews had the lamb Tiffin box and could honestly say it was edible but wouldn't have it again! Can't say it excited me enough to try any more of the menu. No mango chutney supplied with mine or my partner's poppadoms so not worth having really. The other dips were a disappointment.
I can honestly say that this is the best Indian restaurant i have ever eaten in. The food was beyond amazing. The service was second to none...the waiters were polite kind and attentive. A definite 5 stars here.
Food and service was fantastic
Very good loved it, we all did .
Went here for my birthday meal the food and service was fantastic eveyrone was friendly and the parking was no issue the food was tender and juicy if you need some were go relax and have a family meal then go to the mint room in bath.
My wife and I enjoyed the most fantastic cuisine this evening, courtesy of the Mint Room. I would highly recommend the tastes of India menu for those looking to sample a bit of everything.
A little late in posting but well deserved, went in January for hubby's birthday meal, yummy food, fab service, gorgeous venue- fine dining at it's best!
We did the tasting menu for my birthday. Was amazing food really enjoyed the sea bass and thank you for the personalised desert and present. Would highly recommend their tasting menu
Amazing restaurant! The best curry in Bath!
I'm yet to find anywhere better! Best curry in the area, I travel 90mins!
Best curry in Bath. Not standard by any means. Absolute must visit
Exquisite indian food at its finest. Friendly staff and ambient atmosphere. Definitely recommended.
Best curry I've ever eaten
Visited on Tuesday for dinner and we had the tasting menu. It was amazing, the beef was so good and the sea bass was beautifully cooked (my favourite dish by far). I have never experienced Indian food like this before. I wish I took photos to post! Fantastic attentive service and really friendly. Lovely atmosphere, well worth a visit. We will definitely be returning!
Food and service has always been great but got fined for parking in Homebase car park despite being told by staff that parking there would be ok. Have tried without success with several calls and visits to restaurant to seek reimbursement for £120 fine that we were forced to pay. Very frustrating
Five stars from me. Great Indian place with a twist. Service was great.
Excellent food, great service. Romantic surprise from my husband.
I lived in India for 3 years and love Indian food. This is some of the best Indian food i have tasted ever.
A bit cool on the terrace but the food and service was good. Would go again but not with a big group next time.
Very good service
Food was excellent. Great curry. Friendly staff. We will return
We held our wedding reception at The Mint Room in Bath, where the food served was exceptional and the service provided, first class. This establishment is in my opinion one of the best restaurants around. Our wedding day was made even more special because of the kindness and professionalism extended by Mo and his team to our wedding party.

Lovely Keralan curry house, fantastic food very well presented. The food is hot and tasty, staff are attentive and interested. I recommend this restaurant, we were recommended this place by Aqua the Italian restaurant.
Went here to celebrate daughter's graduation as we had driven by many times and we wanted to try it out. The food was delicious and served promptly, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There's a great upper terrace to chill and drink until you're ready to eat. The pricing was very reasonable too, and a great experience was had by all for our special occasion.
We visited Bath for the first time this weekend. We tried our luck in getting in at The Mint Room. They were very busy, but they found a way to fit the 2 of us in. All I can say is the food and the staff were incredible. Best Indian cuisine I have ever had! (and I have eaten Indian food all over the world).
Food beautifully presented and delicious.

Nice ambience, well presented food !! Felt bit dearer but it’s just my opinion. Will go back again.

We booked the banqueting menu for a party of 20. The restaurant made several changes to accommodate several people's requirements and were generally very helpful. On the night, the food was great, the service was outstanding and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Would wholeheartedly recommend!
Best indian food but service was bad , we orderd food and we ask for plates and the water says no place for plate!! How can we eat then ? And we talk to the manger and connected the table.
Food tastes good. some dishes portions are a joke giving the fact that this is an Indian restaurant. No one wants a french restaurants portions in an Indian restaurant. Food bit expensive and no place to park nearby.
Everything is very good. Food is also good and the service is also very good. Whenever we come, we enjoy
Calendar on mother’s day. Lovely meal and beautiful comfortable setting. Ordered starts and mains and all very tasty. Will come again. Lovely surprise gift and sweet treat at the end. Compliments on the house. Great touch.
Nice restaurant, would of preferred full size popperdoms with all the compliments.staff really nice.
Excellent. Tasty Indian food with different house specialities.
Really nice food, served by attentive staff. It help if the lights were a bit brighter then I could have added a picture of their delicious smoked tawa duck.
Thoroughly recommend the Taster Menu with Wine Flight.
Probably the best Indian Restaurant/Restaurant I've been to inside the UK. Had the tour of india menu with the wine flight, absolutely superb, we will be back!
Real contemporary Indian dining. Food is out of this world. And the service flawless. Been to both branches. Amazing.
Fab evening excellent food and service.
Fab food and service
Great food, and service, was our first visit, and will definitely not be our last
Nice food
GOOD
Absolutely fantastic delicious indian restaurant ive ever been too, great staff and enjoyed every minute of it
Super delicious and tasty food with lovely service. 😃
A little pricey, but absolutely lovely food. A great place for a catch up with friends.
Superb Indian meal.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! Every dish was so flavorful and we had great service. Highly recommend!
Amazing food. Best curry for a very long time.
Superb food and excellent service. An amazing onion bhajee starter, a very tasty chicken dish with saffron rice and an excellent roast pineapple with coconut ice cream, complemented by a beautiful New Zealand Pinot Gris wine.
Great food and great service
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Indian food. The food was amazingly presented and the taste was truly out of this world. The best Indian food we have ever tasted.
Had a lovely evening, great service!
You get what you pay for: expensive & exquisite. Stunning meal. The Indian Road Trip with wine flight is incredible. Do it.
The lamb chops are to die for
Food was beautiful unfortunately service was poor
tasty flavoursome and without the take away grease
Eaten here before. This time it was a quiet Sunday lunchtime. Three tables in total. Had to ask them to turn the heat on as we had considered putting our coats on to stay warm! 55mins between first and second course! My wife’s duck was too tough to chew and too gristly to cut with knife. Had to send it back. Battle of fizzy water cost us £4.50. Very disappointed if I a honest.
Indian food was very tasty
Lovely inside. Great atmosphere. Good service and delicious food. Expensive, but for the special occasion a good venue. Came here to celebrate my son's 21st,a good choice
I've been twice. Most recently, I went with an attractive friend and the servers were a bit creepy and overfamiliar. The food was ok. I got the vegetarian thali which was tasty but had a hair in.
The boss gives staff to hard a time I herd him yelling at them
The most delicious authentic food iv tasted in a very long time..great atmosphere, amazing friendly service and definitely value for money. Nithing is too much trouble for the staff. I will definitely be coming into The Mint Room to sample some more of their mouth watering dishes Thank you to the whole team for your great service each time I have dined in.
Good indian food... Great ambiance
Excellent service. Food is full of flavour. A little on the pricey side but overall a very enjoyable experience.
Food was first class.from the starter to the main.we visited the ‘ MINT ROOM ‘ because our son chose it for his 9th birthday.drinks were lovely too.would definitely visit again when next in bath.thankyou.Dean,Lynne & Roman.
On 11th September, enjoyed another fantastic meal at the Mint Room with a number of friends. They were all equally impressed and a great time was had by all. As usual, each dish was beautifully presented and the staff were very knowledgeable about the ingredients. We will definitely be back!
Superb food
Stopped in at last minute for dinner, great atmosphere, service and tasty food, will come again. It was a nice surprise.
Great food and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice
Lekker eten maar vindt het erg dat men 7 pond fooi vraagt . Zo loopt de rekening vlug op.
Very nice staff and food is quality
Expensive. Surprising fact was they charged me double the prize for what was not in the menu. We ordered Kadai Paneer which was not in menu, service staff excitingly agreed to prepare however when the bill came was schocked to see the price which was more than double of any curry dish in the restaurant.
The Vegetarian choices are very limited - only one main dish and many side dishes. It took 45 mins for the food to arrive. Portions are small for the price.
Incredible food and wonderful service. The rooftop bar is very relaxing.
Beatiful place, friendly staff and owner. What else would you expect you got all u need.
Food was spectacular but the service was a little hit or miss. Quite a big bill but it was worth it. The roof terrace was nice too
Staying in near by Apex hotel. I searched for the best Indian food nearby and found a lot on TripAdvisor. I read top five reviews and I thought this is the one. The food is amazing the presentation is lovely. And service is extra superb. Next time I'm in Bath its a must to go here. Thanks Jalal and Ashish and the team :)
We had the tasting menu. It was superb!!
Boy were we disappointed!!!! The restaurant itself is nicely decorated but lacks sufficient lighting in the evening (had to use the torch on our mobile to see the menu clearly). This didn't bother me too much at the time as I was more interested in the taste of the food than the looks of the establishment... The food is really not worth talking about- we all found the food (group of 10) to be quite tasteless and bland and very much catered for the immediate locals. Stay clear of this restaurant if you are Indian/Asian as you will find the food at McDonald's far better value for money (and quite possibly tastier). Less
The absolute bang bang! Got taken here by a friend in Bath, at first was thinking its abit pricey but the quality surpassed any indian I've had. Cooked to perfection, they show which farms they get their meat from in their menu, usually when I see this I don't always believe it, but in this case the meat tasted soooooo fresh. From Farm to Curry you guys smashed it!
Excellent food and friendly service. The second evening I arrived too late for a table but the staff were very gracious in offering me a take away which I enjoyed back at my hotel. Highly recommended.
Absolutely delicious! Seven of us went for dinner and ended up sharing our meals because everything was so good. Staff was super friendly and we even had a quick chat with the owner. Would definitely go again. Oh, and we had this for dessert.
Starters were amazing, dinner and service very good
Great food and excellent service...very crisp and clean decor and a roof terrace too...
Wonderful! The service was excellent. The margarita, scallop starter & chicken makhani with saffron rice were delicious & plated beautifully. I was visiting town for my birthday and was presented with a lovely birthday message written in chocolate sauce with my pineapple dessert. If I lived here this would be my go-to Indian cuisine! Highly recommend.
The worst Indian food i have ever tasted. Won't be eating there anytime soon.
Great food and very helpful staff. Parking is a bit of a nightmare though... difficult to find somewhere to park in the area.
The best Indian food we've both had, and we've traveled a lot (though not to India!) The service was also really good. We had the tasting menu which gives you 3 starters, 2 mids, and 4 mains.
Fantastic Indian fusion.
Very good food and a great wine list. The mango lassies are not to be missed and the same goes for the onion bhaji
Delicious food and a fabulous atmosphere also the staff are very attentive highly recommend
I've had a lot indian food in the UK and India, the food here is up there with the best, if not the best. Amazing.
Some of the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Will definitely be back to this restaurant. We did the street food taster menu and it was phenomenal. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked.
Best Indian in SW
Really enjoyed the meals that we had
Quality indian restaurant. Food is top notch, service is always very friendly. Its a bit more expensive compared to other indian restaurants in bath. Its probably best to book a table on Friday or Saturday night as it gets busy there. It doesn't have a car park.
Food was lovely. Our server was very helpful with our choices of meals. Services was quite slow but food was fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Very expensive, yet quality not befitting of price. Basic pickles with tiny popadoms, chicken not tikka as standard which I would have expected for that price, gents toilet quite dirty, and light goes out after 5 seconds! On good side, naan bread, side dishes and rice were excellent, and service was great. Beer good at reasonable price. Overall, not good enough for price, wont rush back any time ... More

The food was alright. The staff wasn't as friendly as the mint room in Bristol.
Es un poco costoso, pero la comida y la atención son excelentes. Muy recomendado.
Very nice food but quite pricey
Fantastic all round experience at the Mint Room; brilliant food, great service.
Great food
Slightly over priced when compared with similar restaurants of similar quality but then it is in Bath. Excellent food and service. You won't be disappointed
Food was first class

Wow wow wow. This place is fantastic. The food was all very delicious (we had the tasting menu). Service also really excellent with nice explanations of the food, where it comes from and how it is prepared. The decor inside is also very nice indeed and all in all made for a wonderful and very special evening.
Excellent quality of food and the service was second to none!! Exceptional!
loved it. such nice customer service amazing time

Flawless, outstanding. Absolutely!!!!
Lovely meal with all from Devizes Marina Village.

I even ate the fat which just melted in my mouth because they were that good. The biryani was not great at all, and you should avoid. Very dry, plasticy rice, with little moisture and too much cardamom. Visually it is presented very nicely, but worth the pastry lid if the contents are dry as a nun. In general, I think the seasoning and spice in everything is all a bit too tame. Again, must be to cater for the white mans palette. We waited a long time between starters and our mains. We then waited even longer for them to clear the table and serve us our birthday cake which we provided. The management then got confrontational with us, saying that the next cover after us had been waiting for us to finish, which wasn’t our fault, but the waiting staff that just neglected us after our main course. We were also charged a rice that we did not ever get. Less
Good service and well presented food but definitely not one for vegetarians there are only a few things on the menu I could eat and only one main course so not impressed in that regard before when I went there they had a reasonably good selection but now I would say it was fairly hopeless for vegetarians

We waited for service for a long time. Once we have ordered the drinks, waited for the starters to arrive, longer than usual. After that we waited over an hour for our mains to arrive. I ordered lamb ragon josh. When it arrived at the table it was clearly not cooked. The sauce on the lamb was raw timed tomatoes, with a couple of fresh baby tomatoes on top. It didn't have the ingredients that makes the ragon josh, like onions and coriander, cooked, properly. It was raw, tasteless and not suitable to be eaten in restaurant. I refuse to eat any of it. It spoiled the evening for us both. My husband complained to the waiter. He told us that there was nothing wrong with it and took it way. Another long waiting time. Finally he arrived with a plate with the same food, but with a lamb chop in it, saying it was a new dish. It was exactly the same sauce uncooked, so I refused it. The water was patronising, asking if we been to an Indian restaurant before. Clearly we have and know what good food is. It was 3 hours later when we left the restaurant, feeling hungry, ungry and cheated. It was the worst experience we had in any restaurant. Less
Very good food, well presented and unique dishes. Went with my family including three small children, who really enjoyed it too. Customer service was excellent and really made sure that the children were catered for.

When I questioned this the waiter cut it off, leaving a pastry layer around the dish and the pastry top on the plate. Luckily my intolerance is fairly mild and I didn't want to make a fuss, but inside I was angry. If I was more badly affected I would have had to send it back. The biryani itself was tasty but very mild Less
Fantastic food, great service, lovely atmosphere, couldn't fault it.
Brilliant food, so so tasty. Coming up for the weekend from London-I thought we had great Indian cuisine back there. However I was blown away. Lovely service too!
Had a beautiful meal, best Indian I've ever tasted. Really friendly and knowledgable staff, trusted them with the wine choice and they didn't disappoint.
Lovely, second time I've been this week :)
Great Indian food. Nice atmosphere.
Gorgeous Indian food and nice setting. Staff are super-attentive.
Great modern indian dining - can be noisy as mostly hard furnishings
Really nice food. Excellent service. Very pleasant helpful staff. Definately recommend this restaurant.
Good food, good service
Tried the taster menu which was fantastic, a really nice way to enjoy a variety of foods. Visited again in early 2020 and couldn’t resist trying the street food taster menu again, and it was as good as I remembered. Fabulous food and service.
Great ambience, tasty food and good service. Excellent menu with a good selection of puddings.
Indian fine dining.
Amazing food, and great service. We appreciated the manager taking the time to chat with us, and so kindly presented me with a dessert that said "get well soon" on after we explained why we were there! Highly recommended
Really good food! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the tables were crowded in and it was noisy. If you don't mind that then go there, because the food really is good!
great food and and service
Best indean restaurant
Very very good. They make you very welcome.
Fantastic food but very expensive
Outstanding food. A nice space. And the food!
Excellent restaurant - delightful ambience, cool decor, great service and interesting food.
Best dosa masala outside of Chennai!
Another really excellent meal. Delicious food, polite and attentive service, cosy dining room. The staff catered for my father's birthday wonderfully, making us feel special but not disrupting any other diners. Definitely one of my favourite placed to eat in Bath!
The food here was fantastic and a step above the normal Indian restaurant. Portion sizes was generous. I had both seafood and chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The only negative was a 15% service charge being added to the bill for a table of 2. I nearly ended up leaving a second tip as it was not stated before. The service was good but not exceptional.
We've had lunch in The Mint Room past Saturday and we were astonished with the quality of the food. The special Mint Room Biryanis are succulent. A true festival of flavours and colours. The owner and waiters welcomed us very well too. Such a nice lunch!
Quality
Great food, really good traditional Indian but with a modern twist. Not a typical curry house, which is reflected in the prices. One comment, at least where we were sitting (in the middle of the room) is that the acoustic are awful - avoid, or ask for a side seat, if you have hearing problems.
Good decor, great food and even better service. Highly recommended!
Great restaurant a bit pricey
One of the best indian restaurants I've been to. Good food and a nice looking restaurant. Service was very good too.
It's unique experience of Indian cousin. First hospitality was excellent....food was delicious. Seating plan and arrangements and interior was super. I would come back again and recommendations to all my friends and family. Visit once will be never missing.
Had a Rogan Josh for a work anniversary, it was absolutely delicious. A bit of an odd location, but the food was great.
The best Indian food I have eaten so far. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and the food was AMAZING! An Indian food with a touch of French style. Simply Superb !
Great service and friendly staff "food was absolutely fantastic and can't wait to return soon.!"
The holiday inn had no restaurant so was looking for somewhere to eat, the reception recommended the mint room, so glad they did the food was amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Wife liked the look of the food so getting a take away tonight for her!!!
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food. However the waiter didn't take my very mild allergy particularly seriously (I ordered a food low in the allergen and told the waitress, but she told me not to worry, instead of informing the kitchen staff)
Fantastic food (peshwari lamb chops especially), great service and friendly staff.
Had the Peshawari lamb chops which were lovely. Definitely recommend!
The Mint Room is a must visit restaurant in Bath - excellent quality food!
Enjoyed the evening. Great food and staff extremely friendly (even gave us a complimentary dessert which was very thoughtful). Nice ambience and reasonably priced. Naan sizes could be bigger; apart from that - highly recommend. Brilliant!!
Awesome food.. Home away from home.. Great Indian cuisine.. Simply loved the ambience and the service and the staff..

To be honest, the food from my favourite take away is tastier than I had yesterday. My fish had clearly been re-heated, as had the rice, not what you expect with prices at the top end of any restaurant of this type. To add to the disappointment, a 15% service charged slipped onto the end was not how I wanted to finish my evening. Despite a pleasant visit a year ago, I don't feel inclined to want to return. Less
We will be forever grateful! We had arrived to Bath at 9:30 pm and had nothing to eat that day. Eventhough the restaurant was close to closing, they served us delicious food, with very kind service and always a smile on the face. Had a sea food dish and a chiken masala curry and all of it was delicate, flavourfull and cooked to perfection. Its a must try!!
Understandable why this restaurant gets such good reviews, the food is spot on! Alternative choices and not just curries to pick from. Good service and a nice atmosphere also.
A little on the expensive side, however the food is very nice.
So far this is the best Indian restaurant in Bath I will definitely coming back
Ideal if you're up for a fancy family dinner.
Good food quality and nice environment
Amazing! Came here as part of a large party and we all took the tasting menu and "toured India". Service was great, the team charming and the food was exceptional! Highly recommend.
A fabulous Indian restaurant with lovely environment for groups or just couples. Award winning Indian food with nice beers from the country. Remember to make bookings if you are coming with a large group.
Amazing food, a well considered modern take on Indian food that doesn't just fall back on a korma and rice. Best Indian food I've had!!

Except for the manager (I'm assuming he was the manager - he wore a suit and had an air of self-importance about him). He was rude, discourteous and passive aggressive. He practically told us off for arriving early for our table, said 'you alright mate?' to me when I looked put out by his manner (it's not often you get addressed to as 'mate' passive aggressively in a nice restaurant), and generally made everyone feel uncomfortable. I would recommend going to the Mint Rooms - as long as this guy isn't there. Less
This is Indian dining in style - the restaurant is most luxurious inside and in addition the food was divine! I had the Chicken Tikka starter, which I didn't want to end - it was very tasty. I also had the Chicken Lababdar with Mushroom rice, which was equally delicious. I was visiting with work, but I wouldn't hesitate to go again. Perhaps the best Indian dining experience I have had.
This is my favourite Indian restaurant. Had my birthday meal here again. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and the restaurant itself is very well decorated. I recommend the scallops for a starter and the strawberry daiquiris are out of this world.
Great ambience , great service and lovely food. Thank you for the hospitality @mintroom team
Great food, good sized portions considering the quality. Really nice decor. Professional staff. Atmosphere wasn't great while I was there however.

Kinfisher lager served in a hideous pub style pint glass. At the end the waiter almost insisted we try their new zapper QR code means of paying in order to get £5 off. It didn't work. We were then subjected to a lengthy lecture on why it didn't work (my fault apparently) and then refused my request for the discount for trying. The final insult was the compulsory (already addded to total) service charge of 12.5%! A bill of £60.75 for 2 mains 2 naans, one mineral water (Norwegian) and one beer, in and out in 45 minutes. Sorry, but VERY disappointing and with loads of other really good Indian restaurants in Bath at half the price I won't be going back. Our 15th wedding anniversary meal a disaster..should have gone to The Eastern Eye as usual, a place that is consistently very good.... Less
Amazing. Probably the best Indian food I jave ever eaten. The staff made me and my new wife feel so welcome. Cannot recommend this place enough.
One of the best dining experiences I've had! The food was incredible (and well priced, even for students) and the service was even more impressive. The general manager, Moe, made us feel right at home! I'll definitely be going back there again soon!
The best Indian food for miles and miles. Love it !!!
Absolutely fantastic
The experience in this Indian restaurant was fabulous. The food was great and the service superb. Can't wait to go back again 👍
Excellent Food and Service Fantastic food and faultless service. First day in Bath, will be coming back again.
Just had a fantastic meal would recommend here to anyone who likes prompt service and excellent food its a shame I live 200 miles away to not eat here regular
Amazing. The food was absolutely superb and service faultless. I can't wait to go back again.
Unpleasant meat in chicken lababdor spoilt an otherwise tasty meal. Chicken had the slightly crunchy texture of cheap frozen meat. If restaurant was my local I'd consider giving it another chance as other reviews are positive. As it's a bit out my way, it's not worth the effort.
Great food great vibe
Great service and food. Well priced for what you receive
Very good service, friendly staff nice setup and best indian food Highly recommended
